A huge disappointment. The second half of the book bored me to tears.

Not what I expected.

Recommends it for: All romance fans!

Just as FANTASTIC and EMOTIONAL as the first book!!! Marina Adair is ON FIRE with this series!!

“And for the record, I think stubborn is sexy on a woman.”
“You’re just saying that because you have your eye on my remaining cupcake,” she teased.
“I’d have my eyes on more than your cupcake, but you laid down the no-flirting rule.”

A sweet and heartwarming love story...

When Liv bought her late husband's childhood home, all she has in mind is for her six-year old son and herself move on. But she didn't expect the guy from next door would be of big help. Ford didn't expect to be part of Liv's life as well, especially that he's still being haunted by his past.

Packed with fun and sweet moments, this book is so well-written that I feel like I'm a part of Sequoia Lake, or rather I want to be part of it. I love the people in it.

Marina Adair is one of my top go-to authors for contemporary romance novels and she persistently proves to be so with each book she writes. This second installment of Marina Adair’s Sequoia Lake series has heartbreaking bits that made my heart ache, and I loved the well-deserved happy ending. Adair wrote a story of love, loss, and second chances, and it was an amazing read.

Liv and Ford’s past experiences and current situation just touched my heart along with Knox, Liv’s MIL and the rest of s

If I have not said it before, shame on me, but I love the way Marina Adair writes. There is an easy quality to her stories and she hits just the right notes on the emotional scale. Her small town settings give us an opportunity to mingle with some well-meaning, but quirky characters. In my mind, I keep picturing television shows like Northern Exposure and the Bob Newhart shows. *sigh*. Aw, there is nothing like a Marina Adair happy ending! She writes them better than almost anyone I know and this one ranks as one of her best!

I'll admit I was a bit worried throughout the first half of the book. It kind of wandered around a lot. I could put it down and not even think about it (something I’m rarely able to do with this author's books). I also had trouble connecting (or really liking) Liv's character, as she was so short and closed off with those around her. Thankfully not

I have really enjoyed some of Marina's other books, so I requested this off her her name alone.

I really liked Liv and Ford. She's sweet and he's stoic and together they just work. They're both stronger than they realize and it was interesting to see how they were able to work through the things they're each struggling with. Bullseye is hands down the best part of this story and stole every scene.

Plot wise, it was what I expected, to a point. I don't feel like it's a spoiler to say the
Another delightful, light-hearted read from Adair.

I'm crossing my fingers Harris gets a book; he definitely deserves one!

Liv hasn't had the best past few years. Her husband died in a tragic accident, and her son doesn't really speak to anyone but her anymore. She struggles to balance being a nurse with being a single mother. New light appears to come into Liv's hometown in the form of a man named Ford, but what she doesn't

Nice small town romance, my first read by this author. I took it because I like 'second chance at love' stories and K9 Search-and-Rescue. The story fulfilled the first part, but all the S&R was off-page, and the dog (Bullseye) was woefully underused for my tastes. The big secret wasn't that big a deal, imo, but it was definitely something Ford should have told Liv about before beginning a relationship with her. ...more

I loved the emotional undertones of these two books. They both had me in tears at different points. And while I loved this one, there were a couple of things I'd wished had been done differently. Overall, I really enjoyed it though.

And I love that all Marina's books involve busybody older ladies. She writes the best ones.

Liv Preston, bought her husband's childhood home after he died in a traffic accident. She and her six-year-old son are taking it one day at a time. Adair does an incredible job of bringing us into their home and sharing the complexities of their daily life and their struggles to move forward. I liked and identified with Liv but recognized she isn't quite living. Her son is adorable from his stuffed dog to his love of super heroes.

Sweet read

I really like this one. Sweet touching story about healing.

Paxton’s story was very touching and made you want to cry. Liv was so realistic. She wasn’t the perfect mom and was learning as she went and that is so real life!! Ford was sexy and hot.

Great heart warming story

After basically inhaling It Started with a Kiss, I was really hoping that the second book in the series would be just as good and it did not disappoint.

There were so many things I absolutely loved about this book. And almost all of them had to do with the greatness that was Ford Jamison and his search-and-rescue dog Bullseye. I had one major fault with Ford: the fact that he wasn’t entirely truthful with Liv from the very beginning. But everything else about Ford’s kindness helped ease the stin

Disclosure up front: I don't usually read contemporary romance. This book has been in my TBR pile for almost 10 months. I would pick it up and put it down repeatedly.

Well, I finally picked it up and read it. And guess what? It was really good.

Olivia Preston is a young widow with a little boy who seldom speaks since the accident that took his father's life. He insists that a dog flew down from the sky and saved him, and Liv is at her wit's end trying to get him to understand that this couldn't ha

Received an ARC for my fair review for netgalley. I enjoy Ms. Adair's books, they always deal with more than one emotion, you have happiness, sadness, grief, and frustration, all rolled up into one book. We were previously introduced to Liz, in the last book, and I liked her, but in this book, she annoyed me, she was a little too stubborn, a little too independent, and I felt like she just thought that what she thought was always correct, it just bugged me. It just did not seem like the same swe ...more
This is the 2nd in a series but I don’t feel like I missed anything by not reading the first. This can definitely be read as a standalone novel.

I really enjoyed this contemporary romance. It’s the first book I’ve read by Marina Adair but I don’t think it will be the last. She has such a way of balancing the emotional wallop of the story with the quirkiness of the characters and the town. It never felt overdone or underdone. It was all just right. This is not the first book I have read by Marina Adair, and it will not be the last. When I received an invitation from the publisher, via Net-Galley, I eagerly accepted, and I am very glad I did.

I thoroughly enjoyed Every Little Kiss from beginning to end. The romance is sweet, the characters are delightful, and the plot is realistic. I’m so glad I had a chance to read this emotionally-charged story. The pacing is nice and steady. The ending is one of the best I have read in a while.

I am a huge fan of Marina Adair and her new Sequoia Lake series. Every Little Kiss, the second book in the series, is even better than the first and I was a huge fan of that one!

The strong single mother trope in romance novels is one of my favorites and Liv Preston is one of the best! She may be my favorite Adair heroine out of a pack of great heroine's. From the opening scene to the happy ending, Liv was smart and dedicated and the woman I want to be when I grow up. Since every good heroine nee

Liv is a sassy lady, “I thought you were checking to see if I’m wearing a bra.” She bit her lip and shook her head." Foord appreciates all the effort his girl does, “you bought new panties,” he said in a low voice , but she saw other, deliciously big, signs that he was as excited over her panty choice as she was." I really liked this book, I fell in love with Ford.

Marina Adair has written a timeless love story that will keep you turning the pages of her novel Every Little Kiss. I found myself transported to the small town of Sequoia Lake and what it means to be connected to a community. This is a place where everyone knows your business, even when it’s as benign as how many cupcakes you eat or whether you lick the frosting off before diving in.

I loved this one, much like the previous one.

Here, we learn about Liv and Ford. Liv is a single mother that lost her husband to a car accident, that also left her little kid not wanting to talk. It was heartbreaking to watch him go through with this, but also super lovely to watch overcome that and be cute little boy Liv knew he was.

I loved Liv and her desire to make a better life for her and her kid; it was hard to see how much she had to struggle though, but a lot of that came from the fact th

Ford Jameson is an elite K-9 Search and Rescue agent. Years ago, he made a decision to save the son from a father and son car crash. It left its mark on both of them. Ford questions his judgment on everything from that point on and the little boy, Paxton, withdraws into himself, speaking rarely.

Liv Preston is determined to make a good life for her and her son. She does a great job of pulling herself up and setting a good example for her son. She took crap from her mother-in-law much longer than

I received a free copy of this book to read and review for Wicked Reads, so here is my review.
Liv Preston is trying to get her life back together after the death of her husband, not just for herself but for her young son too. Paxton has shied away from most things since his father's dead a few years ago. But Liv is determined to make life happy for them both. But when Liv meets Ford Jamison, can she trust her feelings?
Ford Jamison is head of the K-9 unit in Reno, and one hell of a man to behold.

I don't know how to rate this because I love some parts and have mixed feelings for some other parts but anyway I love Liv's love and devotion towards her son, Paxton. Paxton is the cutest, most adorable child it's hard not to love him. The bond between Ford and his dog Bullseye is also my favourite. I have a weakness. I also love Ford's flirty ways, as weird as it sounds. He's just a fun guy with a huge crush on the single supermom. The only qualm I had about this story is Ford's inabi

The beauty of a Marina Adair novel is that, no matter how big or small, love is the force that drives them. The best way to read Ms. Adair is to listen with your heart. There is always a meaningful message behind the madness. Every Little Kiss, ponders a subject we all take for granted in a way that is humbling, humorous and hopeful. The small town presentation makes the journey more intimate but no less insightful. Life is a precious gift. Whether short or long, joyous or heartbreaking, the exp ...more

I love Marina Adair’s contemporary romances. They are always well written and she always provides such happy endings.

In Every Little Kiss, we meet Liv who is a single mom and Ford who serves as head of a K-9 Search and Rescue Division. Liv just wants to move forward with her life after the death of her husband and provide a safe, stable life for her son. Enter Ford, who unbeknownst to Liv, was the one who rescued her son from the accident but was forced to leave her husband behind to die. These
