This book is not a therapy book for those who suffer with depression or anxiety, nor is this book intended as a disparagement or a glorification of my mental and social difficulties; i

Literally just the title, told over and over again. We get it. Franklin is funny as hell, and I can totally relate... I just got tired of reading about hating summer, loving her air conditioner (I get it, though, lady, I really do), hating noise, hating leaving the house, and hating social interaction... each day pretty much the same thing. Again: she's funny. We'd be friends (who never actually got together). This just wasn't enough reason to finish this past the halfway mark.

“Someone made a grievous mistake when summer was created; no novitiate or god in their right mind would make a season akin to hell on purpose.

Someone should be fired.”
