I was given a copy of this book and it turned out to be the perfect read while waiting the the rain to arrive. I love to curl up with a book that keeps me focused on the story and not on the gray skies but it would be a great beach read as well. This had all the components, intrigue, mystery, suspense and romance. True to life characters.

Double Danger by Nancy Tucker and Trilby Plants is an edge of your seat story about a woman being in the wrong place at the wrong time and a man trying to get control of his life. The story takes place in my home state of Michigan which was awesome as I knew some of the places and roads making the story come to life even more. For those of you not in Michigan though, the authors describe everything you’d never know you had never been to the state.
With just enough suspense you have to turn the ne

Intriguing. Fast paced. Just enough romance.

I love a good romance, but I don't want to get bogged down in it. This storyline was phenomenal. Though a little bit outside the realm of "government believability," it didn't really matter. There was intrigue, tension, relationships, and character development. I'll definitely be looking for another book by these authors soon!

**I received a complimentary copy of the book for an honest review.

Fast-paced, exciting romantic suspense novel. This was my first read by Plants and Tucker, and I can't wait to read another. Spy drama, romance, danger, all taking place in northern and mid-Michigan. As a lifelong Michigan resident, I enjoyed the story taking place amidst familiar locations. Absolutely well done, and looking forward to reading more from these authors.

I just finished reading this captivating book! The plot had multiple surprising twists…along with the development of a risky romantic bond. Love books that I can’t put down!

I was given an arc of Double Danger in exchange for a fair review.
Alyssa Mallory is a nice woman. She’s a school teacher who lives alone, has a cat and works part time in her deceased aunt’s antique shop. It’s a nice, empty, life. All that changes the second she crosses paths with Nick Trammel. She finds him irritating, if not handsome and smart.
Within hours of that chance meeting nearly everything in her life changes. She is forced to walk away, with nothing but her van and her cat. Nick Tramme

I really enjoyed reading Double danger over the holidays. I bought this book at horizon Bookstore in Traverse City before Christmas while one of the authors Nancy Tucker was hosting a signing. It was a great read from the beginning to the end. The story didn't have lulls between the romantic tension and the intrigue it flowed steadily all the way through. The two main characters were real and believable as was the dialogue. This is a fun read for a holiday or vacation especially for those who lo ...more
