After a twister destroys their barn, Josh's family is not doing well. They may even have to sell the ranch. Josh is trying to come up with a way to save the ranch. Meanwhile, the Blood Claw Bandit has moved into the area and already robbed the bank. There's a big reward for the bandit's capture. Can Josh catch a thief to save his family homestead?

A nice little Wild West adventure for kids with dinos mixed in. Josh and his family need some serious lessons on how to be safe in a tornado. They don't do anything right. So adults may want to talk to kids who read this about what you should really do in a tornado warning. The whole thief capture adventure is exciting and kids should really like that part.

Notes on content: Potentially perilous situations when facing a thief and a tornado.

This is just a fun series. My nephew absolutely loves cowboys and dinosaurs, so this is the perfect series for him. We are really enjoying them together. Hope there will be more in the series.

It's much better than the first one of the series that I read to my daughter. The illustrations are funny and well done.
