Thanos Agapiou has always been a charmer. For over two millennia, the vampire had no problem acquiring whom and what he wanted with a flash of his handsome smile. He took for granted the boyish good looks he presumed he’d possess for the rest of eternity.

How very wrong he was.

A nearly fatal attack distorted his entire existence. With his appearance now

"Gods and their Monsters, battling it out until the very end"

I've been waiting(not so patiently) for this one for about a year and it definitely didn't disappoint. It normally takes me about 3 days to read a book and I read this in 24 hours, once I started I couldn't put it down.

Ella Frank has created a truely captivating world of Vampires,Gods and Demigods here. The writing and story telling is suberb.I'm not even going to attempt to go into the story because I really couldn't do it j

I am a bit sad that it's over. I fell in love with each character in this series. They each had their specific role they played and it was fun watching it play out.

The sex scenes are not very detailed but the chemistry between these men is so hot especially Leo, Alastair and Vasilios.

Oh man, I hate doing this. I hate to give this book anything other than 5 complete stars, because Frank's writing was brilliant. She built a world full of it's own rules, and just sucked you in it. No apologies.

But this book, I guess you either love it or you hate it. And I still can't decide if I hate it, but I definitely know that I don't love it.

With Thanos being the last one in the series, I was expecting everything to tie up perfectly, for most of my question

So Thanos ended up disfigured. Go figure. I guess I knew that from the last book but I was thinking that since this was fictional and all that there'd be some miracle and he'd be whole again. I guess that's why I'm not the author because his disfigurement worked so hard in this book! He seems quite taken with Paris but there's really no time for all of that because Eton's devolving and there's still the impending doom of the vampire race.

There was plenty of time spent on the past characters. Leo

Thanos Agapiou is the first sired vampire of the Ancient, Eton. During their centuries together, they’ve shared a tumultuous relationship fueled by a dark side. While they have been a source of salvation for each other at times, Eton is no longer able to pierce Thanos’ reclusive shield. During this torment, the beast within Eton lurks and the one person who could keep this demon at bay is no longer willing to give himself.

It's been a year since I've had my hands on this series and as expected there were many details I didn't remember. I kept confusing names, situations and that didn't work well with my reading experience of Thanos. I would recommend someone to read this series all at once so they don't have to deal with this problem.

As for the book I did enjoy Thanos and the story was as usual interesting and captivating! I especially loved the flashbacks, because we get to see so much about what's the backgroun

Oy… Not sure what happened… On its own, I thought I liked it enough, middle-of-the-ground like so to speak; but if I look at this a conclusion to a series, it wasn’t the epic one that I thought it would be

It’s Thanos’ and Paris’ turn to get their story. From the end of the 2nd book, we know what happened to Thanos. Paris, we all gathered that he is to Thanos what Leo is to Alasdair and what Elias is to Isadora. From the first book, we saw how these 6 are c

Wow. That was unexpectedly impressive.

I don't know why I'm surprised, really, because I've yet to be disappointed by an Ella Frank story - particularly those of her fantasy works - but this one wowed me for a number of unforeseen reasons.

Firstly, the long-ass wait for the release of this final chapter (of the Masters Among Monsters trilogy) made me lose a fair bit of my original excitement, if I'm being honest. I'm an impatient person (understatement!), so pair that with the fact that t

We're finally back with our Vampires!

Our vampires, their sires and their half-human lovers! What a mix of interesting people!

Even though this book is called THANOS, it's full of all of them. Everyone gets their own POV.
But of course we're focused on Thanos and his human Paris. Their lovestory has not yet started...but we're getting there.

Poor Thanos has been so horribly disfigured, he's ashamed to show his formerly beautiful face. But of course Paris isn't bothered by that - he sees the inner Th

This is not a stand alone book, but one that ties up all the threads that the first two books in this series started. Three seemingly normal men realize that they’re destined, created actually, and put in place by the gods themselves, to mete out a specific kind of justice for something they had no hand in. What their puppeteers have no way of knowing though, is that free will is a funny thing, and that humans have empathy, compassion, and desires, all of which can alter the best laid p

It was hard to rate this one because I can't seem to gather my thoughts lately. It seems I'm in the minority here, as again almost all my friends loved it. Well I enjoyed it enough, but the ending didn't work for me. At all.

I love Ella Frank's writing style. I loved all her books I've read so far, but unfortunately this was not my cup of tea. Well paranormal and vampires stories are not my thing, but I was curious enough about this one. I've read the blurb and the first free chapters on A

I was waiting for Thanos to be released for more than a year. And while I remember the basics, it's always a pity when you have to read books with so much distance. While the author makes a great effort in reminding us some of the events in the book, I think it's always best to experience it all at once I think it gives the story a better dimension and it gives the reader a way to really appreciate the books and its characters.

If you've read Alasdair and then Isadora, you most certainly know th

I hope this is not a new trend with authors whereby they have you journey through a series of books than at the end of the series literally within the last chapter all the characters have been transported to an alternate timeline without an explanation that makes any sense & even if it does make sense the transition is so jarring that one has to wonder what is the true purpose of reading the preceding books of an alternate reality when the new characters of their old counterparts have totall ...more

So the ending . . . sure they all ended up with their HEA, but it was as different regular human people, like it was the ending of a different book with characters who happened to have the same names. No longer vampires and demigods, with no memories of what occurred for thousands of years prior, or over the last several months, it sorta negated the stories of entire series. Everything they'd gone through, suffered, experienced, any changes they made internally to th

This is the final installment in the Masters Among Monsters series. And although it is Thanos' story, it also progresses the stories of all of the main characters Alasdair, Leo, Vasilios, Isadora, Elias, Diomedes, Eton, and Paris. The mystery has built up during this series as we gradually learn more about this world of Gods, monsters, curses, and destiny.

Leo, Elias, and Paris apparently have a destiny to fulfill, but what happens when lines get blurred and they begin to try to exert th

Honestly, after waiting so long and loving the first two books immensely.. This was so disappointing. I love Ella Frank's writing style and the books that I have read from her, but this felt like she gave up. The book was going really well... until right at the climax, and everything is just skipped over. Didn't really have a conclusion for me.

I had a feeling Thanos was going to sweep the table for me. I went into the story feeling more connected to this wounded vampire than I did to any of the ones who came before him. I was fascinated by him. My heart ached for him. I wanted to know more.

And I was not wrong.

This book is, hands down, my favorite of the series. I mean, you could say it's because everything that happened in Alasdair and Isadora was always building up to this book - so naturally when everything is pulled together I lov

I loathe to do this. I love Ella Frank.

I can't connect to this book. I have tried, gave a Valliant effort. But I am going to stop, at 64% and shelf it for a bit. I will try again after a while, as maybe it's just my mood. But I am not enjoying this installment and I have loved this series. So, NOT a DNF...but a will revisit soon.

No Review at this time due to not finishing.

OMG, this series has been addictive from the very first page of Alasdair and has held me captive throughout Isadora and now Thanos. This installment picks up immediately after the last. Each of the three Ancients has a first-sired. They are a pair for all eternity. Each relationship is unique, be it sexual, friendship or a deeper necessity. The first vampires were made by three of the Greek gods. Now those same gods have sent three demigods to end the vampires. Because of current feelings and past actions, lines for everyone have blurred.

I had no idea how things would end for all involved. Som

What an amazing cast of characters this is. Thanos is the third book in this series, and the final. So even though this book is titled Thanos, you really get a good chunk of dialogue and storyline from ALL of the characters. And you most definitely need to read the first two books in order to understand this one (Alasdair & Isadora) this is not a standalone, and I highly suggest reading the whole series because it is fantastic! I ADORE this series, so much so that I was physically aching and devastated that it came to an end. I've gone on such a journey with these books and characters and I truly love them so it PAINS me to rate Thanos so low.

This is the conclusion to this paranormal trilogy and the first two books absolutely need to be read first and in order. Everything is heightened in this book. Every thing that threaded through

What an epic conclusion to the Masters Among Monsters series! 5 stars are not enough!
Thanos is nothing like Alisdair and Isadora, which were full of suspense and sexiness. You have to read these two to fully understand what is going on and how we came to this point. Thanos fate was determined by the awful attacks in Theodora. And those set into action a string of events that no one could have foreseen.

Just like in Alisdair and Isadora, we get to know the story of Thanos and his ancient Eton. It'

There is so much that I love about this series. Ella's words and her characters have this allure to them that are completely mesmerizing. This series is addicting, these characters are phenomenal and the story line is just nothing like I’ve ever read before. However, I have to admit that I did have some issue with this one. That ending!!! Still a great story and totally worth picking up.
