This might be called how to write a UCAS personal statement, but out of 230 pages only 30 are focused on the title subject.
There's a lot of generic advice about deciding to go to university, which course you should pick and which site you should choose. If someone is planning their personal statement I'm sure they've already answered all those questions!
The only reason this is getting 3 stars is because the advice given (splitting your personal statement into three sections) and the academic profiles for English and Journalism are informative. I feel as though I'm in a much better place to write my personal statement, even if I had to flick through a lot of unnecessary waffle to get to the core information (which is funny when the first piece of advice regarding UCAS statements is to be clear and avoid waffling... Hmm).
