wOW. They are all dead. I hate that. Excitement for sure but you still hate it. I can't wait for the next book. We have a time machine so...... can they be warned in time. I hope so. I can't imagine where it

Can't wait for the rollercoaster that has to come with the next book. No way that it's not. I hope we get the resolutions all want for our favorite characters but I know not everyone can come through unscathed

Well Done. Well Written. I Need More!!

This latest installment of Major John Chase and friends is so well written and fantastic that I hated the reading to end. So many questions were answered. So many left to the imagination. I don't want to ruin the end. Lets just say. Tears of pain followed by tears of frustration. I will be waiting with bated breath to see if and when the next installment of this story comes out. Well Done Dirk Patton.

Good read

Not left with a happy feeling after reading this book. I won't post any spoilers but Dirk WHY???? Did you have to?? You said you cried when writing this part (and you know which part I mean!!) so I really hope it was worth it. Hurry up with 15 so I can decide if I need to hire some ex sqiddy types to pay you as visit ;)

Words can not explain how delicious this series is.

I love this series but this was not my favorite of the group (after you read it you will know why). I do believe this one felt more forced than past volumes and I think it tried to wrap up too much in one book. I wonder if Mr. Patton would consider a do over lol. I waited to read this book because I could see where it was going and I didn't like it. I forced myself to finish it, not wanting this outcome. I still have hopes (a hail Mary perhaps?) and have belief in this series which is like none other. All I can say is read from book one, fall in love with these characters and pray for a redo...please?

Awesome! Once again, I've had to finish this entire book in a single sitting. I couldn't put it down!

The entire 'V Plague' series is outstanding. If you haven't started yet, get going. Yes, this is the fourteenth book in the series and I can't give a detailed summary without dropping some spoilers. But the story has not dwindled or slowed down at all and I'm still ready for even more!

A truly epic story from an amazing author. What a wild ride this is! Incredibly well done!

Not over, 'till it's over

Still a chance with Athena Project. I don't want it to stop, I want Igor and Irina to negotiate a settlement, Anna to help the Mormon people with what is coming, John, Rachel, Dog and co. to be safe in Australia. I WANT ATHENA TO WORK!!!!!! I want this series to go on, it is the best I have read in a long time. If you want something with excitement, thrills, fear, warmth and love this is it. READ IT!

Awesome As Always

Okay I could probably just copy and paste my past reviews of the previous V Plague series because the level of awesomeness never drops!! I'm so glad that there will be at least another book to read.....Thanks Dirk Patterson for the many many many hours of complete enjoyment, and a few tears here and there, that you have given me!!!! I appreciate every single word !

Taking Too Long

Taking Too long to reach the inevitability that all lives are going to be destroyed. The Russians have won. In today's political context, the politicians have let the enemy in our gates, and all of us are suffering for it. The author is political with his love fest of Ronald Reagan, so from a literary perspective, the series is good, but a put off with a love fest of politicians.

Heart wrenching!

Spoiler alert!! I really love the way Dirk Patton writes. I find his humor to be very engaging and I found myself literally laughing out loud as I read his books. However, when he kills off my favorite character (dog) I just about cried. He better be using that time machine to go back in time and rescue him. Can't wait for the next book.

As in this story or saga we should be praying for our nation's and world's leaders and officers of the armed services. If there was a cure for selfishness I would be first in line and preaching about its benefits. You can't help but love or hate the characters of this story and be sure to read it when there is no room for depression.

I'm not crying, you're crying! This BOOK! Dirk - WHY?????? I am heartbroken, yet somehow optimistic....going to pick up "36" now and get myself some backstory before I go on to book 15. Again folks, if you haven't started this series - do. It has everything, including serious infected who evolve just like our characters do.

Shocked...

Yes, I was shocked when John and Rachel died and was devastated when Dog died. After all I have been through with them it seemed like family was taken away from me. It does become personal after 14 books. I'm now on to book 15. You are full of surprises Dirk Patton!

Still enjoying the series.........

Hoping things take a turn for the better! Love all the many characters in the story and I feel reading the series has taught me a bit about warfare even though the story is fiction.

I don't know what to say!

WOW!!! A fantastic book, but what can I say that won't reveal many of the twists and turns that took place in this one. Very unsettling in a good way! My heart is pounding and the tears are going! I can't wait to read the next one!

I'm not sure, but I think this series may have run it's course. It is no longer about the V Plague.

Great series

A few surprises. I have been addicted to this series & hate to read an end is coming. Not your typical zombie apocalypse series.

As usual, this was awesome! I was not prepared for what happened. I cried towards the end. This series has NOT gone stale, least in my opinion. Great work!
