His Chance is the 4th book in the HIS series by Sheila Kell. I have previously read all the other books in this series and have loved them all but i'm pretty sure that this one is now a firm favorite. Devon & Rylee's story is a gripping adventure and an emotional tale of discovery as they try to piece together lost memories and solve what happened to them on a trip to Las Vegas and to find and rescue some young girls that have been kidnapped.
It was really great to see how the Hamilton men always pull together in times of trouble and as a family to help each other, but on this mission it was exciting to see what Devon who is normally the behind the scenes guy was made of when it really mattered.
Devon and Rylee have great chemistry and it showed that they had a strong connection and were meant to find each other again as they were burning up the pages together in no time. This was a very enjoyable read for me as the story was fast paced and it kept me interested in wanting to see where their story would take us. The writing was very good but that is a standard that i've come to expect from this talented author.
A brilliant 5 Stars!

Oh I love Devon and Rylee!!

What more could you ask for in a series? Hot strong alpha(s), head strong woman, lots of love and passion, romantic sexy scenes? Sheila writes all of this and so much more!
HIS Chance keeps you on your toes til the very end, it contains high levels of suspense with heaps of romantic tension between Devon and Rylee. I love how you catch up on the lives of the characters who have already shared their stories and get small glimpses of the stories yet to come.
This is an exciting book which I thoroughly enjoyed reading, I love the characters and can't wait for more from her.

Another mind blowing read from Author Sheila Kell! Another gripping, intense read that will leave your heart pounding behind your rib cage.
Love Devon, I always have done, and in his own book I love him even more. Rylee is another kickass character but at times she did make me want to smack sense into her. I loved how their story went. I was smooth paced and very descriptive in detail about places and things, so much so that you can picture everything as you read.
We also got to visit some of the other Hamilton brothers, which I liked. I still don't like Kate and I doubt I ever will either.
Amazing story, very well thought out and amazingly executed in the finale. Highly recommended if you're looking for a suspense book that will have you on the edge of your seat.

Sheila Kell has done it again! This is the second book that I have read in the HIS series, and I love this one even more than the first. Devon comes across as a stubborn guy set in his ways, but few know of his past that has led him to put up a wall. Rylee wants to believe in true love, but she's afraid of having her heart broken. The drama of this book had me clinging to every word and constantly flipping pages. Once you start reading this book, there's no stopping until you reach the end, and then you're left wanting more!

It seems when I read one of Ms. Kell’s HIS series it becomes my favorite but I really think this one will stay my favorite. Devon and Rylee's story is an emotional adventure that really pulls on your heartstrings. As with all of this authors books there is a lot of passion, hot steamy romance, action, adventure, drama, love and something that has to be worked out. Here we have a lost memory, the thought of not knowing of not being able to put the pieces together must really be devastating. The author gives you a believable story that you fall in love with. It will be very hard not to love these characters as they work through their issues of heartbreak your heart breaks with them. It is fast pace that moves well with a plot and characters that blend well. If you have read her other books in this series you get to see a few past characters which is always nice to catch up with them and see what is new in their lives.
There is something about a nerd with muscles that is just a turn on. He is the guy you go to when you want information. No job is to big he can always find what you want to know. When it comes to computers he can hack anything there isn’t a computer out there he can’t find all their secrets. Kate is a good friend of his and when she needs help with a friend of hers he is all in for helping only to find her friend isn’t very happy with him, and he doesn’t know why. Rylee just wants him to go away and forget she ever met him much less the night they had together, but he isn’t giving up and gets right in her way every time she turns around. One things leads to another just as they start working out the issues something happens that puts Rylee’s life on the line, with one step behind her he is on a time line to get her back safe.
I loved this book, I loved the characters OK, OK there isn’t anything I didn’t love about this story. From start to finish the author had me in the palm of her hands hanging on to see where she would take me. Devon is hot, knows his way around the computer but more important he knows his way around a women’s body. The steam in this story comes right off the pages as the danger pulls you in and the chase is on you can’t forget how hot these two are together. One bullhead and the other determine they go to well like peanut butter and jelly. The author gives you everything you could ask for in a suspense filled read from the drama, action, a little violence, thrills and a few chills it is a wild ride I couldn’t put down.

Holy snakes on a plane... gah. I don't know where to start. Like, seriously, my mind is blown. I think I may have died once while reading this book. I loved every single word of it. My heart literally raced a few times. Exciting stuff, man. I love this series. Sheila is great at giving you a story that is full of craziness, adventure, moments of terror and.. love. Let's face it. She takes words and makes a mini movie in your head as you read.
With that being said... again, I loved it.
Devon, oh my man Devon is the nerd with the plans, the maps and the lightening fast fingers that can get him into any security system he wants to extract information. Trick is, he is not a field agent. He is the computer guy. But, things change for him, and fast.
When a friend of Kate's, a woman Devon knows - but not too well - gets into trouble he jumps to go with Kate to help. Thing is, Rylee wants nothing to do with him. He was a mistake that she wants to forget about, and move on from.
Rylee doesn't know that Hamilton men, never give up. So, Devon puts himself into her personal space. he takes over her cabin and makes it so she has to all but trip over him while they work on getting her out of trouble. Lord knows she is just like the others, neck deep in a world of corruption she may never be able to swim to the top. Though, she is determined and with Devon at her side, she has a fighting chance.
When things go upside down and Rylee is taken from him, Devon has to do all he can to get her back. They may not be at 100% yet, but he will not fail her. His past will not repeat itself. One way or the other Rylee will be saved. Its more than a battle of wills now. Its down to the wire and I feel sorry for anyone that gets in the way.
Nothing will stop a pissed off and determined Hamilton. Nothing.

Yet again, Sheila Kell has given us another exciting instalment in the HIS series. This time it’s Devon’s story.
We know from previous books that Devon went to Vegas and came back with a bump on his head and no memory of what happened there. We also saw in an earlier book that Kate’s friend Rylee went to Vegas and something had happened while she was there. Well now we find out just what happened in Sin City, and that not all things that happen in Vegas, stay in Vegas. Unfortunately, I can’t really say anything about that because I don’t want to spoiler it, lol.
Rylee is an ex-FBI agent. She quit after things didn’t go quite to plan on her last assignment and the bureau wasn’t treating the case in a way she felt it deserved. She may have left the FBI but she didn’t stop working that case which is how she ends up almost killed and hiding out in the woods. When Devon finds out from Kate that Rylee may be in trouble, he jumps at the chance to go with her to see Rylee and find out just what’s going on. And that’s about all I’m telling you about that too. I know, I suck, lol.
Oh how I love this series. The only thing I don’t like about it is that we have to wait for the next book to come out, lol. Filled with action, drama, some violence and some sexy times, I really enjoyed HIS Chance and I give it 5 stars. I’m looking forward to the next book, which going off a few hints I’m guessing will either be Brad’s or Matt’s story.

I was pulled right into this story. The story flowed well and the story kept you interested. The story has laughs, suspense, pain, and heartbreak.

But what happens when threats are made and Rylee is in more danger. Can Devon protect her? Can he keep her safe so he can finally keep her for himself? Or will danger find them before they are ready? Do they have a future? Of will the danger make sure that does not happen?
I felt I could connect with the characters and the story was a great read.
I highly recommend this book and can’t wait for the next story in this series.

Yes finally Devon's story. I have wanted to find out about his lost night in Las Vegas. His Chance is the fourth book in the amazing HIS series by Sheila Kell. These books can be read as standalone but this series has built from the first book and grown tremendously. The characters have grown richer and more complex as we meet their wives and children. Devon and Rylee have so many secrets and have no memory of their one night together in Vegas which makes this book a joy to read. Every page finds another facet to be discovered. Their chemistry is off the chart but worrisome since they can't remember if they are friends or does. Their journey together through the seamy world of sex slave trafficking, menacing thugs and evil villians will keep you enthralled and you will not be able to put this book down. Sheila Kell was a new writer to me when I started this series and quickly became a favorite. I will read every book in this series and relish them all.

Wow, this book was very different from the rest. I feel like it was less Alpha and more sweet. Devon wasn't as strong headed as the rest of the Hamilton men, but he was just as loving to his family. And well the other woman in this series where strong and protective of their men, I feel like Riley was the bravest and strongest, so far. I loved the chemistry between Riley and Devon. The twists in this story were different than the others in this series. I feel like this series has a whole has some really good plot twists that I enjoyed. Each story has a big amount of suspense that doesn't allow me to do anything but read. I really liked seeing more in the the computer guy and how he did what he had to do for his women. Now, I'm off to read number 5. An amazing series that I hope never ends!!

When Rylee, a friend of the Hamilton family, is in danger, Devon volunteers to go find her and help, despite preferring to stay behind the scenes of the family security business. When Rylee reluctantly agrees to let him help, he realizes how much she really means to him. Apparently what happens in Vegas doesn't always stay there.

What a great next step in the series. Now we know Devon's secret and why Rylee seemed so skittish! As one of the primary conflicts, this story addresses some issues that are sadly often overlooked. We learn some backstory information, there are chases and fights, and of course, the hot sexy times. This is the 4th book in Sheila Kell's HIS Series and can be read as a stand alone with no cliffhangers. That being said, you are going to want to go back to the beginning and find out the stories for all the other couples... and singles. There are also some hints that let you know you are going to want to read the next one. Happy Reading!

I love Devon and Riley!!! Devon is the resident computer hacker who loses his memory in Vegas!!! Then comes Riley, she's in Vegas searching for 2 girls who went missing. What happens when she wakes up with no memory in Vegas next to a strange man? In Riley's case, she runs!!! It makes for an interesting story, but I would have stayed!!! Along with the rest of this series, this book was full of romance and suspense and I absolutely loved it. I am definitely more attracted to the hackers and computer nerds, but don't worry, Devon is totally hot and not a nerd!!

His Chance is the fourth title in the HIS series, and features Devon and Rylee, who have both appeared in the previous books. I have thoroughly enjoyed each book in this series, and His Chance is no exception.

I've read all the books in this series and they are very good for the romance and suspense. The storylines and characters are believable and easy to get into. I would recommend this series to anyone who likes steamy romance with their suspense.

Great Series
If you've read any of the previous stories then you know something happened to both Rylee and Devon in Las Vegas. This story finally gives us the details of their adventure in Vegas and their forgetfulness. This story has everything, just like the previous stories: angst, love, suspense, people from their past that try mess things up. Can't wait to read the next story.

This is the only story I've read so far from the HIS series, so I was lost at a few points. The primary plot and conflicts can be read as a standalone, but there's plenty of info and descriptions that I completely missed having not read the other books. I don't fault the author for this at all, it's just something some readers may want to know about.
The characters were the best part of the story. I appreciate a strong woman and confidant, yet sweet man, and Rylee and Devon fit that bill.
The plot was a little far-stretched and vague at times. *Spoiler* I really wanted to know why Rylee was such a hot commodity for the man that wanted to purchase her. She didn't appear to know who he was, and it seemed like he was meeting her for the first time, so I was a little confused and disappointed when it was just some random pervert.
There's a good deal of repetition that could've been left out. It felt like every other paragraph was about how Rylee couldn't trust Declan and how Declan would'nt give up on her despite not knowing what happened at the hotel.

This is book four in the HIS series, centred around the Hamilton brothers and their security business. This is Devon's story. You don't NEED to have read the other books before this one, but it would give you a better picture how the three older brothers have come before met their ladies, their matches. There is some overlap/follow-on but you'd pick that up really quickly. But I think you SHOULD read them, simply because I tell you to!
10 months ago, on a trip to Vegas, Devon married Rylee, ex FBI agent, in an Elvis chapel. Neither, however can remember much about it. When Kate (HIS Desire) gets a call from Rylee, Devon jumps at the chance to get to know his wife. But someone else is after Rylee, someone from her last FBI case, and it's up to Devon to keep her safe.
This is a really good read, but for me, not quite as good as HIS Choice(book 2) or HIS Return (book 3) which were both 5 star reads.
Don't get me wrong, Ms Kell's skill continues to grow with each and every book, and it SHOWS! It's just Devon's STORY didn't quite grab me. The way it's TOLD is brilliant, delivered and executed extremely well.
It's only a matter on time, for me anyway, when a book in a MUCH loved series lets me down. It just happens to be poor Devon who drew the short straw.
All the brothers make an appearance, and there is a very nice tie-in to Brad's book, who is NOT next. I'm waiting, waiting waiting so impatiently for the next one, for THAT brother has a story to tell.
Still, a really good read, and I'd highly recommend the whole series.

Kell ramps up the action with His Chance. This is the fourth boo in the HIS series.
Devon chooses to serve the HIS team from behind the computer monitor for a reason. When his new wife finds herself in trouble, it's all hands on deck.
I enjoyed the steamy romance, suspense, and all the action this book offers. The continuing characters from the series continue to grow and develop in each new addition. The plot was ripped from the headlines. Human trafficking is something we all need to realize happens more often than we know.
You will have no trouble reading this book as a standalone, although the series is worth the read. I highly recommend this book and series to fans of the romantic suspense genre.

While I have enjoyed this series, there have been parts of each of the previous 3 books that I didn't care for. This installment was definitely my favorite, and I don't think there is one thing I would have changed about this story! It certainly starts off with a bang, and I was so intrigued from page 1. I was happy that those initial questions were not answered until the end.
I just loved Rylee and Devon! It has been a while since I read the other books in the series, and I'll admit that I didn't remember too much about Devon going into this. He is a great hero--smart, determined, and a good mix of confidence and vulnerability. He certainly met his match with Rylee, a tough and capable yet kind-hearted former FBI agent. They have great chemistry, and I just adored them together.
The plot of this story was gripping as well. There was a good amount of action combined with the romance to keep things exciting. Yes, you did have to suspend belief at times, but that is not always a bad thing. I like reading to be an escape, and this book definitely fit the bill.
Definitely a 5 star read for me, and I can't wait until book 5!

WHAT an Opening! the Eyes and Ears of the HIS team Devon Hamilton comes back from Vegas with a bump on the head and no memory of how it happened and Ms. Kell had me guessing how on earth this happened, when you first read the book the reader only knows what the characters know, and it is not till the very end that we find out what actually happened in Vegas
When Kate realises that her friend Rylee Hawkins may be in trouble, Devon steps away from the command center and into the field. The rest of the team wonder why he volunteered, but soon Kate finds out, and then shes keen to help him stick with Rylee when he discovers she is on a dangerous mission to find the two girls who disappeared on her final FBI op, the FBI haven't put much effort into finding them, but Rylee won't give up.
Devon agrees to help Rylee, but it comes with a price, that Rylee is hesitant to pay.
Rylee is unaware of what Devon's investigation into his missing weekend in Vegas uncovered, and when he explains, she reluctantly agrees to give into his request in exchange for his help.
Now I thought that Rylee was a bit of a reckless cannon to start with, but I guess she was so focused on her mission she failed to think of the obvious help she could have gotten from the full HIS team. But I enjoyed the story, and Devon's dogged determination to succeed in showing Rylee they were worth the Chance.
There were some tense moments, some very sweet moments and plenty of action to keep you glued to the pages.
Ms Kell says that the books do not have to be read in order ( But I think that its better if they are)

2) HIS CHOICE (AJ & Megan)
3) HIS RETURN (Jake & Emily)

Yes this can be read as a standalone, however I HIGHLY recommend reading the series in order so you will have a better feel, especially with all the characters that come into play. In this book you are brought into Devon’s and Rylee’s life. There was a prior meeting months ago in Vegas, and what goes on in Vegas does eventually come knocking on your door later! Rylee is one of Kate’s friend as well as an Ex FBI agent, when Kate believes one of her closest friends is in trouble, she asks one of the Hamilton brothers who she believes will be the best of her options. Devon is the computer genius of the company who can find any and everything that is out there, even if people want them hidden. When Devon does realize that Rylee is in trouble, he devices his own plan in order to help himself. Rylee gets what she wants if Devon gets what he wants. Win, win right? Well what happens when danger is knocking on their doorstep? Can they pull together and fight off the bad guys?
I love this book and the whole series. It is filled with action, suspense, and don’t forget about all the sexiness! This is very well written, with all the right descriptions, not too much and not too little! This series is so entertaining. I love the characters and the stories. This book had it all: suspense, romance, great characters. I loved it. I hope more books follow in this series.

I love Devon! I think he is my favorite brother. As the quiet nerdy brother in a family full of alpha heros, he is a different Hamilton brother. Rylee is a strong woman that has angered the wrong people while working undercover. It seems unlikely that these two personalities ended up married in Vegas. I loved that Devon was fighting for the marriage that neither really remembered. The story was full of action with some humor. I really enjoyed learning more about the family and am really looking forward to the twins stories. I received an advanced copy for an honest review.

4 OMG I Didn't See THAT Coming Stars!!!!
I've been waiting for a little while for this book and it was definitely worth the wait. Talk about being shocked by the who's and the why's!!
This is the fourth book in this series and it's Devon's story. When the book first starts, Devon is not who we think he is...he's involved in some pretty serious stuff and it's on the way down low from his family. Enter Rylee Hawkins who's on the hunt for her missing brother and a dang good investigative journalist and there's a whole new bag of trouble that's caught Devon's eye.
There is an immediate connection between these two but it's not a good thing because they're on opposite sides of the law...or are they?
Ms. Kell does an outstanding job of developing the characters, bringing the entire Hamilton family into the mix and throwing curve ball after curve ball at the reader. Just when I thought I had everything figured out, BAM...not so much!!
I felt my heart beating almost out of my chest several times with the action and seriousness of this book... there's some down and dirty dealings going on here. This is another great book in the HIS series and I loved every page of it!

Great addition to the men and women of Hamilton Investigation & Security (HIS). Its now Devon's turn and being familiar with the series I knew that there was something that he was keeping away from him family and now we get to find out what it was. A chance encounter in Vegas leaves him with a bump on his head and no recollection to how it got there. Once home he starts to investigate on his own and what he finds leaves him a bit intrigued. When Kate (his sister-in-law) comes to the team because she believes her friend Rylee is in trouble Devon is first to agree to go which is odd because he never leaves the command center. Figuring out that this is HIS CHANCE to finally know what happens he takes and it will be more than he bargained for but its worth the price. This action packed adventure will leave you spellbound and wishing that you was along for the ride. Its fast paced and will have you turning the pages as fast as you can to see what will happen next.
