I swear no one writes a sweet/sexy MM romance quite like N.R. Walker.I was practically swooning throughout this book.

Lawson Gale is a butterfly expert,it's his passion.Nerdy, sassy and definitely unique he's come to Tasmania at the request of an old professor to try and find an elusive butterfly which the professor has been searching for,for decades.

Jack Brighton is a local Parks and Wildlife officer. He's lived in Scottsdale for years,a small, quiet sleepy town where eve

This book is a breath of fresh air, a rainbow on a sunny day. Forget angst and pain. Forget drama. This is a feel-good story all the way.

Lawson is an easily flustered lepidopterist (butterfly expert) who makes bowties look sexy. He's visiting Tasmania from Melbourne on a sort of work study to look for a species of butterfly that a retired professor swears exists (but that no one else has actually seen). Lawson is nothing if not dedicated and isn't afraid to take a stand against the mainstr

Oh, this book! It was like holding a butterfly in your hand and being enchanted by it!

As my closest friends know, I love all things nature, so coming across a story with butterflies in it was in itself wonderful to me. To then see that it has been written by N.R. Walker amped up my excitement even more, and to then read the blurb to find two of the most intriguing characters mentioned just sold it to me to be read immediately.

I loved Jack and Lawson. Lawson's genius quirkiness and geekiness was

Already reread after 2 months. Absolute perfection.

I’m not feeling very well so this will be a quickie review.

I absolutely ADORED this book. It was so romance and sexy and low-angst and just the perfect book when you are feeling down. N.R. Walker at her finest. I can’t recommend it highly enough.

I absolutely loved Imago. It's a truly gorgeous story with supremely likable MC's and adorkableness in abundance. I have a weak spot for geeks of many flavors, not to mention the tall, rugged outdoorsy type (though I'm not remotely outdoorsy, so this is total fantasy for me) and there is just something about a smart man in a bow tie that just does it for me.

Lawson Gale is a lepidopterist, a person who specializes in the study of all things butterfly. He's flown to Tasmania to meet up wi

This is a book most will find sweet, cute, romantic, and adorable. I know I did.

Jack is quite the gentlemen. I loved that he asks Lawson on a date. I love how they meet. It's just one of those right place at the right time coincidence's that started this endearing relationship.

Their first date... SWOON!!! Jack nailed it and it was such a freaking sweet date. The kind that makes you second guess about not putting out on the first date kind of date. lol

Both men's jobs were really interesting

Seriously, simply one of the easiest romance stories I’ve had the pleasure of reading in quite awhile.

Jack and Lawson meet, and from there, sparks and interest ignite. Their flirty camaraderie is surprisingly marked quite nicely by all the ways they each realize just how much the other tickles their fancy.

Like everyone else has said, this is comfort reading at its best. No crazy angst. No big internal or external hurdles to overcome. It doesn’t hurt at all that both MC's are very likeab

N.R. Walker was kind enough to offer me an advance copy to read of Imago, and I enjoyed it very much. I realise we both started in fairly similar places. But the bare bones of my idea came from a throwaway remark by a Goodreads reader about 'two guys chasing butterflies', so it's not that Butterfly Hunter emerged from a chrysallis all my own making! And from there, it's two different storytellers each following their own paths in their own directions. We've each now blogged about the situation, ...more

Oh my. I was smiling through most of the book so hard my face muscles started aching.

I never knew how much I needed a book like this - one that makes your heart flutter with delight, causes you to squee (please keep in mind I am one of those who loves a good deal of angst in her books...) and gasp sweet ooohs and aahhs. I hope you're not getting the impression that this book is cloyingly sweet - because no, no, no that would be totally wrong. This is pure romance at its best!

I finally finished this little book and I absolutely disliked the dual POV. But NR Walker's characters are usually endearing and whatnot so I trudged on. Lawson and Jack were cute but they didn't leave as much of a mark as Spencer and Andrew from Spencer Cohen, Book One or my favourites, Travis and Charlie from Red Dirt Heart.

That may have been coloured by the fact that the book was in dual POV. I like my stories told by one voice. Either the main character, a secondary character or an external

***N.B. The ONLY similarities between this story and Julie Bozza's wonderful Butterfly Hunter are 1) butterflies, 2) 2 guys and 3) Australia.***

Thanks to Nic for the ARC. A lovely, light and fluffy, feel good read with minimal angst from Nic **happy dancing, we all need less angst in our lives**. This story was pretty light and sweet. I enjoyed it, but didn't get to love it.

It was also quite different with all the butterflies details. The end left me with a big smile on my face. The angst was minimal and we get some pretty hot scenes.

Like I've said before, I'm not a fan of too many rainbows and unicorns in the books I read. It's true I enjoy fluffy romance once in a while but somehow N.R. Walker writes too much sugary sweet for me. My favorite book by her would be The Weight of

This story is pure romance. Awkward and giddy and sweet romance.
Lawson is a nerdy, introverted genius lepidopterist who is also a bossy bottom with a foul mouth - but only during sexy times.
Jack is a local Parks and Wildlife officer in Scottsdale. He has a great life with good friends and his trusty dog, but is maybe a little lonely.
When they meet, well, let's just say I couldn't stop smiling.

I don't read many gay romance books. I'll pick them up from time to time and I am always pleasantly surprised by the love stories between the men in these books.

N. R. Walker is a new author for me and I have to say this one is a little gem!

Imago has to be the most adorable and sweetest story I have read about two men falling in love.

I adored Jack and Lawson. They were both so charming. I look forward to reading what happens next with them. ❤

"I believe I found a type of butterfly that exists only in my belly which only makes itself know when I think of you."

Imago was an incredibly sweet and feel-good romance between two amazing characters. The strong, solid, and outdoorsy, Jack Brighton meets the bowtie wearing, nerdy, eloquently speaking butterfly specialist, Lawson Gale.

These two hit it off almost immediately. Their romance happens pretty quickly, all in a about a week, but there wasn't any rush or insta-love. The guys take their

Imago.

This story was all kinds of adorable fluff. It's the story of nerdy a lepidopterist, Lawson Gale, and Wildlife Officer Jack Brighton. Jack's longing for more than the occasional hookup and was smitten with Lawson as soon as he saw him. He found everything about him endearing, cute, and sexy.

Lawson, on the other hand, wasn't immediately sold on Jack- well, nothing past looks. But the forces of fate push them together, and Jack, not one to waste an opportunity snatches his chance to have m

While this was a very sweet story, I was missing just a little tension. A bit of inner angst, like some sort of insecurity would have been enough for me. But this was all smooth sailing between these guys.

Jack is a wildlife officer who takes care of the woods of Scottsdale. When he meets lepidopterist Lawson, he is immediately enamored with the sweet butterfly hunter.

Lawson is there for a week to find a new butterfly species. The attraction between the two is immediately evident and Ja

Loved both guys, their relationship was one of the sweetest I've read. Lawson, loved his bow ties, I thought they were sexy as hell and the way he spoke so old fashion but so endearing. Jack, was such a sweetheart tall, and gorgeous but so thoughtful and caring towards Lawson. The dates Jack planned for Lawson were so romantic and the butterfly kisses, so adorable!

Sweetness.

Lawson amused me with his bow-ties and proper speaking. The book has instant attraction though they take the time to get to know each other and build into more. Well they make the most of the week they have anyway! It's a pleasant undemanding read.

There's some brief drama where dog Rosemary can show her mettle but mostly this is an easy read of two men bonding with a little help from friends who cook. Not sure the metamorphosis allegory was warranted at the end but it was still a nice

Awwwwwww!

This book was so cute. Lawon Gale is the definition of adorkable. Bow tie and suspender-wearing Lawson catches Jack's eye on a flight from Melbourne to Launceston. Jack offers Lawson a ride when there's a mixup at the car rental. After determining that Jack is not, in fact, a serial killer, Lawson agrees and Jack is smitten in the short car ride.

Lawson can't believe that this hunky man is showing interest and flirting, but he's definitely willing to go with it. Lawson may be a geeky in

I quickly fell in love with both Lawson and Jack.

Told from a dual POV, Imago is a sweet, no angst, passionate whirlwind romance.

The romance happens quickly at just under a week of knowing one another, but at the same time it's pleasantly paced with Jack and Lawson getting to know one another well.

There was a lot to love about the story: the characters, Rosemary the dog, the way Walker parcels out information so the reader learns but isn't bored by the intake of new knowledge.

I didn't read a lot of NR Walker.... yet, but I starting to see her theme. Her works are guarantee to be sweet, sexy, low drama and did I say 'sweet'? If you are one who prefer the sweetness of flower and roses rather than conflict driven story, this one is for you.

Lawson is a butterfly expert. Don't ask me what is his official title cause I can't spell it! He is nerdy, bowtie wearing, butterfly chasing and totally adorable. He is just seems so polish and preppy, it makes me want to dirty him up

Any volunteers to join me in my box of shame?

I know most people loved this story but once more I'm part of the small group that didn't. I'm not sure why that happened exactly. It was an ok story but too cute and too mellow for my taste. It was a sweet story but I didn't feel as though anything was happening. There was no angst, no troubles, no bumps in the couple's road to togetherness. Everything was smooth sailing and moving way too fast. The events in the book happened in the period
