Gentle funny book with believable characters and plot. I enjoyed the way the story unfolded with unpredictable twist and turns, but felt the last 20 pages rounded it off a little too quickly, and it felt as though the author didn't know where it should go, so cut it off abruptly. Otherwise a good read as always with Mark Wallington

this author really is brilliant!

Enjoyed this book and I do like Mark Wallington's observation on life. Light reading and entertaining. A novel rather than the travel books I usually read by the author. I love the humour too.
