"I love you,Abel,as much as you've made this harder on me,you've made my life a million times brighter. No regrets, okay?"

A truly moving love story

There is a note to the reader at the start of this book, from the Author.I'm only going to quote her final words and hopefully that will be enough to convince anyone to read this amazing book.

No one will die in this book. You will not journey with Landon to his end.Instead, you will walk beside him and watch him live.

This. Book. Broke my heart. Healed my soul. Made me cry. Laugh. Made me Hug my daughter and kiss my husband. No regrets.

Nicky James is a new to me author and when I read her note to the reader in this book...I knew I was in for an emotional story.

"Are you afraid of reading this book? Afraid you might be getting into something too heart wrenching and real you may not be able to handle it? To be honest, I was afraid of writing this book and wasn’t sure where it would take me. I should start off

description

I don't think i can write a proper review.

This book was sad and uplifting at the same time. Going in i knew what i getting into.

I love Abel and his wonderful personality, this is Landon's journey, i enjoyed it with him, i felt his pain and for some reason i now have his headache.

Someday he would be gone from this world, and my heart would shatter. But I wouldn't change a thing

5 stars!

It's taken me a couple of days for me to write this review because it's always hard to do when it comes to this emotional books.

"This is a journey of life not death.
One that will hold no miracle cure,
but one that will take the path it is
set out to take"

But there's two things that are different about this story. One, right from reading the blurb you know what you're getting yourself into. Two, the ending it's not the usual way it goes, it still heartbreaking no doubt, but for me

You know, the more I think about this book the more irked I get. I don't read books with sad endings. I only read books that end in a HEA. When I read this disclaimer by the author:

No one will die in this book. You will not journey with Landon to his end.Instead, you will walk beside him and watch him live.

I thought I was in the clear. Yes,

What can I say.....I'm stumbling over my thoughts and words....
It was beautiful and heavy.... Humor, joy, seriousness, grumpiness, stubbornness....a lot of fun and heartbreaking moments...But with head and shoulders above this all.....so much unconditional love it was overwhelming...
I cried, I was so scared, I grieved in advance, I laughed, smiled.
At some point I stopped reading...couldn't handle it. Had to wait to be alone to finish this story because I knew on forehand there would be ugly cri

Someday he would be gone from this world, and my heart would shatter. But I wouldn't change a thing

This novel was a magical ride that I encourage everyone to go on. Like the author warns in the beginning, this isn't a book about death, but LIFE. It has me thinking that most of the day to day things we worry about and cry over are actually insignificant when looked at from a different perspective. I'm sorry but this book makes me want to bungee jump off a tower in Macau as well and just enjoy lif

Fear is in your head. You’re letting it own you. Once you stop giving it power, you’ll jump.

And so I jumped.
And what did I find on the other side?
One of the most beautiful love stories I've read. Ever.

Honest. Untinted. Full of beauty, pain, hope, warmth and deep love.

I wasn't afraid to go along with Abel and Landon. I've learned a lot on this path. About myself. And life in general. And what I have to expect. From me and others. And what I have to do. For me. And for others. And that I can be

Only knowing that I enjoyed Love Me Whole by this author I decided to get this book. Right away when you start you know something sad is going to happen so you prepare as much as you can.
Landon’s story is powerful and sad, but it has so many wonderful teaching moments as well as living life to its fullest. That isn’t easy when your pushing things away. I love that Abel shows him that he isn’t dying he is living.

It isn’t for the faint of heart that is for sure cancer is a horrible disease and m

OMG.... this story destroyed my poor heart... but put it back together wonderfully.

I'm so thankful I didn't have to watch Landon die... Nicky James did a wonderful job in giving me the opportunity to walk beside Landon and Abel... and watch them live their live to the fullest.

Nicky James: Are you afraid of reading this book?

Me: Terrified

Things didn't bode well for me when I was teary eyed from the note from the author - before the book even begun... But some part of me just had to read this book. So it was with equal parts dread and anticipation that I went into this book.

I have to say Nicky James delivered what she promised - a love story celebrating life, not dwelling on the impending horrible death always looming in the horizon and the sadness of

A beautiful love story. As the author says, this is a story about living, not dying. Very well done with lots of emotion.

As a minor point, this story needed a little more editing. Quite a few typos and oddly place commas.

This was a beautiful story, handled well. I was prepared to cry but didn't. I felt it coming several times, but it never happened.

Definitely not what I was expecting.
Which, for once, is good.
Good because my heart is still intact. Thank the universe for it.
But there's some bad, too.
Here it is: I'm not entirely satisfied with Ms. James execution in here.
I would love to explain it more, but I think I've inherited one of Landon's headaches through some kind of weird osmosis. So I'll get back to it as soon as I sleep on it.
I still devoured the whole thing in, like, 4 hours. So that's a good thing.

First, let me just say that just the author’s note to the readers was heartbreaking. I knew coming into this that it wasn’t likely to be a fairytale…. It was real. Real life trials and tribulations. Terrible things happening to good people with no control over the outcome; heartbreak and grief and mourning. Maaaaan, was I not prepared for this.

Landon has cancer… a terminal brain tumor that has exhausted surgery and all the chemo and radiation he could stand. It’s shrunk and not as aggressive, b

DON'T MISS THIS BOOK!!!

This book is a celebration of love and life! I almost missed reading it, and I'm so so glad I didn't!...

Landon is traveling the world trying to acomplish every dream he can think off, to make new memories, to explore new things, to have new experiences... to live life the best he can, while he can...

Abel never thought his trip would end up with him meeting Landon... Something on the quiet guy attract Abel, make him wish to know more about him, to explore this sexual tensi

As the forewords from the author, this book wasn't tragic. The topic is tragic, yes, but the story isn't. It's trying to take a tragic matter and turned it over new leaf into something positive. Not with the power of miracles or magic but rather through the idea of treasuring the little things and live life to the fullest. Even when said life had an established expiration date. It was a beautiful messages and I appreciate it. The story had a lot of tender moment, but mostly they bought a

3 stars from me. There were no tears, and yes, the story was about Landon finally living instead of just waiting to die. Have to admit Abel's childish behaviour really annoyed me to start off with [I'd have kicked him in the privates at the hotel desk in Scotland...talk about mortifying], and then the complete lack of editing/commas in stupid places/punctuation/grammar niggles AND an annoying narrator for the audio book who didn't know how to pronounce any of the place names in Scotland [sooo un ...more

So Sweet!!

Right off the bat Nicky James gives readers a little note in the beginning of the book so we know what to expect from No Regrets. Either way, I would have still enjoyed this book very much. It's rare to read a book with this type of storyline and be happy for the characters.

As mentioned in the blurb, Landon is living with terminal cancer, well he's living now. Before he decided to venture out on his own, Landon was depressed, wasting away in his room. Finally getting up and out, he mee

I’m not crying, you’re crying!

I’ve been dealing with a lot of personal issues surrounding death. My mother died suddenly and unexpectedly of a heart attack less than 5 months ago. As devastated as I am, I take comfort in knowing that we were close and spent a lot of time together.

This book is sad, yes, but it has a wonderful message that we all should remember; live everyday to the fullest. You never know when your life or the life of someone you love could be cut short. It is important to make

The love between Landon and Abel was oozing off the pages and seeped right into my heart! There were points in the book I was destroyed and others were I felt pure joy. All of which made my heart so full I thought it would burst. The subject matter is tough but trust me, the way Nicky wrote it was ingenious. It is a must read!!

NO REGRETS
Not one single ounce of regret

Most people read books to escape reality of the real world. Even if the story isn't as 'happy' (for lack of a better word) as we'd like it to be, these characters have a story to tell & hope that some can see the beauty in the pain.

I really enjoyed this book. I had fun ticking off all the things on Landons bucket list along with them. I laughed with them. I cried with them. I wanted to wrap them both up in my arms and just hold them.
