Earth was virtually destroyed when nuclear warheads across the globe were activated, decimating society as we know it. 97 years later, 100 teenagers, who have grown up on board orbiting space stations, are sent to earth to discover if it is habitable. They are the 100 - teenagers who have not yet reached the age of majority who have been branded troublemakers, and expendable. They were not prepared for what they found.

I have to say I enjoyed the television series better, maybe because I saw it

Sadly, I went into these books having already seen the show. I LOVED the show up until season 7 of course (we aren’t gonna talk about it lmao) but as much as I wanted to like these books, they just were not as interesting in my opinion. The books and the show are COMPLETELY different. I did not particularly enjoy Clarke’s character in these books as opposed to her character on the show either. The only aspect of this book I really enjoyed was the Bellamy and Clarke relationship that we sadly did ...more

The 100 (book 1) by Kass Morgan is one of my all-time favorite books. Personally, I love dystopian novels, and if you do too this would definitely be the book for you. In addition to the genre being dystopian, I love that the book has some romance. I personally do not like when the main genre is romance, but I appreciate a little bit every now and then. The 100 is very intriguing, and I actually got into the book because of the TV series. One thing that I love about the book is that it is a ver ...more

I love the show--love it. I don't like certain plot lines but I do love the show. The show *however* is nothing like the books. And that's okay!

The books--#1-3--I remember distinctly being invested in, reading through and enjoying them thoroughly. Book #4 was good, but not good enough. I feel like didn't add to the completion of a story, it almost felt like another book was needed at the end, and this was supposed to be a trilogy, so I'm not sure where we're headed. I also feel that Book#4 built

To be honest I felt like the plot moved very slowly and not much happened. I don’t think I will continue to read the series because it just didn’t really keep me as engaged as I would have liked. In my opinion the plot of the show (which to my surprise is extremely different then the book) is better.

I love this show and decided I wanted to read the books. All 4 books are pretty far off from the show but had me just as on edge.
