At more than 25 years old, this book is so clearly a product of its time. The book is full of basic Christian wisdom, but also has its fair share of complimentarianist-at-best, sexist-at-worst moments, as well as frequently and consistently equating homosexuality to murder, rape, and domestic violence.

There was an extremely profound and helpful chapter on prayer and true worship in the book.

It is impossible for me to rate the book given its age. If I had to, it would be 2/5.
