The book also includes free online access to additional tutorials, videos and trainings just for book owners. Infusionsoft Mastery is the culmination of years of in the trenches work, research, experimentation and, yes, many blunders along the way! The goal of this book is simple; to help all Infusionsoft users, regardless of experience level, take advantage of the Best Practices I have uncovered. You’ll find Best Practice guidance on the following
TL;DR: Presupposes a lot of familiarity with Infusionsoft. If you're company is starting out with Infusionsoft, reading this book will make you sound like an expert and give you a lot of direction, but you'll probably only use about 5% of it.
I learned a lot from this book, but I think my recommendation for most sales/marketing agents would be to just not use Infusionsoft at all. If your company has decided to go with infusionsoft anyway I'd highly recommend this book after completing the basic tutorials Infusionsoft has to offer.
After reading Infusionsoft Mastery am I an Infusionsoft Master? Not even close. I still only abstractly understand a lot of what Broussard is talking about here, but I am now certainly the most knowledgeable person in the company when it comes to Infusionsoft.
Instead of technical support a lot of the value of this book is conceptual. I have a better understanding now of how successful companies (or at least companies that successfully use infusionsoft) relate to this software. I've put maybe 1-5% of the content of this book into practice, but I now have opinions and prejudices about the other 95% and how my company should move forward.
This is one of the better written software tutorials I've read. Broussard doesn't weigh this book down with anecdotal nonsense and his writing is both readable and skimmable depending on the time and attention you can commit to it. Still, I'd give this a higher rating if I was now in fact an Infusionsoft Master or even an Infusionsoft Fan after reading this. There are so many recommendations for 3rd party plug-ins and software that whole parts of this book (at the concrete level) are useless to my company.
The book I'm holding out for isn't 'Infusionsoft Mastery', but 'How to get best value with minimum effort through Infusionsoft'. This book's a lot more about getting a fair ROI with a fairly meaty investment of time and financial resources.
While it's not technically a "how-to" book, you certainly learn the essentials of building and using Infusionsoft campaigns. The author provides an excellent overview of marketing automation, and, more importantly, explains the best practices. You'll definitely want to keep referring back to the book as you grow in experience and expertise. And while technology continually changes, the online bonuses should keep the material evergreen.
