This was a good read. Never a dull moment, unfortunately that meant Asher was getting hit over and over with tragedy! For a short book, there is a lot of material covered. I haven't read any other books in the series yet, but I'm interested to see how they turn out.

Even with all the secrets, lies and danger, can he still shine? It does also include a snip-it ...more

SF Benson resides in Georgia with her husband, a human daughter, and a couple of miniature fur kids (two female short-haired guinea pigs). At one time she wrangled a household which included three Samoyeds, saltwater fish, a hamster, and three guinea pigs. When she’s not busy playing Doctor Doolittle, she enjoys answering the question “what if” by writing mostly Dystopian/science fiction and paran ...more
