Great info for those with a syndrome that involves chronic pain. I suffer from RDS OR Complex Regional Pain Syndrome, a chronic pain syndrome. The author writes in a style that is both personal & complex while challenging the reader to do some "homework". Dr. Teitelbaum writes about chronic pain with first-hand knowledge...he was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia in his early 20's. He empathizes with the readers' who look "normal" but suffer from an illness that is unrecognizable visually & hard for Dr's to diagnose.
