So far, this is the best book by Mallory Crowe I've ever read!!

I was excited about this book since the first one from the Stolen Hearts Series (The Cocky Thief). Melody held my attention in that first one and I knew she was wilder and bolder then people gave her credit for!

In Beautiful Thief she is looking for revenge and for some settling, seeing that she is still struggling with her life, what she wants for her and her past of trying (unsuccessfully) being normal.
And for that goal she needs th

I received "The Beautiful Thief" as an ARC to review and give a honest review.
Mallory has written another great book. I read this in one day, because I couldn't put it down. Needed to know what would happen next.
Melody and Adam, AKA "Blondie" are the main characters. Melody was looking and going after the man who shot her mother and the men that were there, Blondie and Baldie. First, Melody found him at an event in Chicago, where his fellow security guys, were beating him up. She got him away fr

Oh my! I loved this book. You've done it again Mallory. A definite five-star read!

This begins a few weeks after the girls' mother was murdered at the end of book one. Melody is feeling really down because she is taking personal responsibility for her mother's death. Toni went by to check on Mel since she realized Mel would be troubled after witnessing her mother being shot in the head and killed.

Melody is the one they consider the weakest sister and she wants revenge on the man and his accomplic

This is the second book in the "Stolen Hearts" series. Although it could be read as a standalone, I'd recommend reading this series in order to have better understanding of events and characters. Mallory Crowe tells the story in her usual easy-to-read and passionate style. This tale is emotional, it has suspense and adventure, lust and romance. Fabulous read!

This book is better than the first. Fast paced with a clear plot and both hero and heroine were attractive, likeable characters. I finished this in one day.

ARC for honest review with no compensation, Mallory Crowe sure knows how to bring you in right from the start and doesn’t let up until the very last word…..awesome read! ! ! Although this is the 2nd book in the series it can be read as a standalone, but reading the 1st book gives you more background into the story line and sets you up for the next book in the series…

The Beautiful Thief is the second book in the Stolen Hearts Series by Mallory Crowe and it's a darn good one!

This can be read as a standalone even though it is book two of the series. Mallory gives enough back story to help a new reader not feel like they are lost and she doesn't rehash a lot to slow the story down for anyone that has read The Cocky Thief.

It picks up shortly after the Cocky Thief ends with Melody in deep withdraw after seeing her mother (Isobel) shot and killed in front of he

I enjoyed this second book in the Stolen Hearts series better than the first one. If you haven't read Cocky Thief yet, I strongly suggest reading it before this one because you'll have a better understanding of character relationships and situations that are referenced in this story. This book picks up a few weeks after the last book ends, and find our heroine, Melody, is still trying to face life after a traumatic event in the last book (the author tells you up front, but I don't want to spoil ...more

I received a free copy of this book but voluntarily reviewed it.

This book is the second book in Mallory’s Crowe’s “The Stolen Hearts” series. Although you can read this before the first book, you will enjoy this story better if you read The Cocky Thief first. That is because the basis for the major theme in this book is based on something that happened in the first book. Also, all of the main characters from the first book play major roles in this book. Plus, the main characters, Melody “Mel” an

Excellent addition to the Stolen Hearts Series! Melody Murray's upbringing was unconventional, to say the least. Raised to be a con artist and thief, she tried living a "normal" life but it didn't work out and found herself drawn back into the game by her mother, Isobel, who died during a robbery gone wrong (see book one, The Cocky Thief). In book two Beautiful Thief, Melody, who is hellbent on revenge, makes a deal with Adam Smith, one of the bad guys involved in her mother's death. She needs h ...more

Warning: Although this book focuses on another sister it is part two in a series, events and people are mentioned from the first book, with little explanation and you won't get the best from this book without reading it first.
This was another well written book by Ms Crowe. Adam is a thug and a killer and his only redeeming feature is that he is attracted (and later cares about) Mel. Mel is an ex-conwoman who saw her mother murdered in front of her eyes and is prepared to get in bed with the devi

A well written, fast paced and suspenseful romance, The Beautiful Thief was action through and through. Volume 2 in the Stolen Hearts series follows on from The Cocky Thief, following the same hard core criminals and those seeking revenge. Melody has survived kidnapping and a threat of death, only to see her mother murdered before her eyes. The thug who was responsible for her survival warns her to stay away, but since her divorce Melody has grown a back bone and decides to go after the perpetra ...more

Great Story. I am really enjoying this series. I love a good thief romance book.

Melody is going to get her revenge! In the meantime she is going to fall in love. I really liked Adam and Melody together. They were great. They had good chemistry and there is a hot and steamy sex scene, nicely written. These stories are more about story and less about the sex, bonus!

As for the story line and plot it was good. Melody wanted her revenge and Adam was willing to help. We get to know this couple as they

This is the 2nd book in Mallory Crowe's Stolen Hearts series. This can be read as a standalone but it does have characters from the 1st book. This book is about Melanie and Adam or "Blondie" as she has nicknamed him from the last book. This story basically picks up where the last book ended. There is a lot of build up before we get to see some "heat" but it is definitely in this book! There's suspense, a few twists, (I did get surprised at one point), and so on. I don't want to give anything awa ...more

Received an ARC for review.
As always Ms. Mallory hit the nail on the head. I loved this book.
Melody wants revenge on 3 people. The man that ordered her mother's murder, the man that did the actual killing and the man that held her back.
Adam is the man that can help her get her revenge BUT he is the man that held her back.
Melody asks Adam for his help. He agrees but on one condition, when he gets her the shot she must take it or he will get her.
Adam gets Melody her shot, but things do not alway

I thought the Cocky Thief was good but this one was outstanding with precision writing where the words flowed perfectly and amazing supporting characters. It picked right up where Cocky Thief ended with Melody Murray didn't wanted any part of her family traits; however, after dealing the ordeal she saw/endured in the Cocky Thief, she had a change of heart. I especially loved Blondie ( Adam Smith), who was dark, broody and dan

WOW! Ms. Crowe did it again, this is the second book in The Stolen Hearts series and it is as good or better than the first. If you love books with intrigue, twists, and great sexual chemistry you will love this book. It grabs you from the start and keeps you hanging on tight for the ride. Furthermore the storyline and character development make this a book you won't soon forget, definitely worth the read.

Yep, read it in one day (Saturday, to be fair), and liked it!

Mel is what her name suggests - a melody, but a sweet, tinkling, delicate kind of sound underlied by a strong beat. She starts sweet and reserved, but determination to avenge her mother brings out her stubborn, reckless, strong and lucky side. The book is fast-paced and surprising, and also well written.

I loved this story of Mallory and Adam. I liked this book so much that I could not put it down until I was finished. This a great book with a lot of twists and turns pulling you into the story.
I read the story as an ARC and I would highly recommend it to everyone who likes a good adventure with a little romance.

I liked this book but its probably not my favorite of the series. I think that although this is not the first book in the series, it is still easy to follow along with. A good stand alone book. Why? Because the author gave the story enough background information to get the reader up to speed without boring previous readers. The book starts out with Melody down. She's depressed and barely moving but she also has plenty of good reasons to be in that funk. But when her sister temporarily helps get ...more

Wow!! 4.5 stars!! What a great continuation. This is the 2nd book in a series but can be read as a standalone. I loved it! I am getting more and more excited just thinking about each character getting their own storylines. I was a little skeptical about Melody's story. It was a bit slow to start but it caught on quick and by the end I was pumped up. Melody seems to have always pushed aside her roots. Her thieving ways. In this book she has to dig deep to find herself and her own place in life wh ...more

I received a free copy of this title from the publisher in exchange for an honest review.

The Stolen Hearts series by Mallory Crowe started off with the Cocky Thief, and ended with tragedy for the Murray sisters. Now Melody is out for revenge, and she seeks out one of the men she holds responsible for her mother's death.

Adam, better known as Blondie in the Cocky Thief, isn't the uncaring bad guy he wants people to believe. He's not a pushover either, much to Melody's frustration. While Adam succu

Mallory Crowe can create such fantastic stories that suck you right in and you never want it to end. The thing I like about her new series Stolen Hearts is that it is just pure fun! Yes, there is action, suspense... I mean, they are a family of thieves, and of course hot moments ;) but I can't help but just feel lighthearted when I read these books. I loved Melody in book 1 so I was so happy to be able to follow her revenge filled adventure in The Beautiful Thief. You could feel the tension (and ...more

I voluntarily read and ARC and this is my honest opinion.

This is the second book of the Stolen Hearts series and was another enjoyable read. We really see Melody’s growth in this book. She seemed very fragile and broken in the first book and we did find out why she was this way. In The Beautiful Thief she starts to recover the resourceful, confident woman she must have been before her ex-husband destroyed her self-esteem. She’s very tenacious and manages to track Adam (Blondie) down. As she star

I read an ARC and this is my honest review. Book 2 definitely took the cake and it was so full of action this time around. I just had a feeling that Melody was going to be the one to take the incidents in the book 1 the hardest. She just had this broken image about her but still fiery as all get out. She is a survivor and she fights for what she wants but he can be stubborn. When she is out for revenge she comes face to face with one of her villains and tries to use him to get what she wants. Melody is The Beautiful Thief who enthralls Adam!
This is another fabulous author who writes steamy romance. Melody is traumatized when she watches her mother murdered. Yea, she is a thief but she never murdered anyone. Adam is one of the men who took her hostage just before her mom was murdered but he was also the one who helped her escape. After the shock wore off, Melody sets out to avenge her mother. Adam is attracted to Melody and twice he tries to rescue her. The third time is the charm! I

This is the 2nd book in the series, it's a standalone but you'll enjoy it more if you read The Cocky Thief 1st.
Melody didn't want to follow in the family employment, she'd settled for 'normal' but after her divorce she wasn't sure who she was anymore.
Then events took over, and now she's bent on revenge, enter Blondie, aka Adam, and the game is on!
They certainly spark off each other, no more info about the plot as it could spoil TCT if you haven't read it first.

Great romantic suspense. This book can be read as a standalone, but I think you would appreciate and enjoy it more after reading the first book, The Cocky Thief.

I had to give it to Melody that she was determined to go after the people responsible for what happened to her mother. I liked that there was something between Adam and Melody (other than just the attraction) that neither could quite put their finger on at first.

I also could appreciate that the whole white picket fence scenario didn't wo

Mallory Crowe has lived in Michigan her whole life and has been in love with romance ever since she'd skip to the end of every novel, just to make sure the hero and heroine survived and ended up together. She lives with her husband and three dogs. When she's not writing, she's spending too much time in front of the TV, hiking, or working with various animal rescues.
