SO the other two books are written and ready to go but I'm not sure how to space them out. My guess is that Book 2 (The Do-Over, with Matt and Annika) will be out in April and Book 3 (The Lesson Plan, with Noah and Holly) will be out in May. Thanks for asking!(less)

ARC kindly provided by Victory Editing via Netgalley in exchange of an honest review.

This is the story of Kyle and Lani.

I really liked this book. The concept of the Extra Credit is nicely done and it really gave me something to think about. The author wrote a beautiful story about two totally different persons who meet, help each other to grow and change in the best way! During this process, they fall in love and it was fantastic! I was wrong when I thought that this will be a "light

Thanks to New adult book club for providing this book in exchange for an honest review.

What I love most about this book is that it is so relatable, I really
enjoyed reading this book. This book is also my first by the author, I like the writing style and plot a lot, can't say the same for the characters. The book is written in a dual POV format.
The plot is like nothing i've ever read, looking forward to the rest in the series.

Hey pretty readers! *Waves excitedly* I am back with a review on this latest newly released YA college romance book called "The Partnership" by "Charlotte Penn Clark". This book is being gossiped about a lot and is also gaining some audience, so I decided to read and review it for my fellow readers and help them pick up their next read!!

"The Partnership" introduces us to "Kyle" and "Lani". Kyle is everything a young college hottie is with all that bad boy aura and 'stay away from me I'm not good

The Partnership by Charlotte Penn Clark is the first book in the Extra Credit series. It's also the first book I've read by Clark. I received a complimentary copy in exchange for an honest review.

I liked the premise of the story but it dragged for me. Kyle Madison and Lilani "Lani" Ito met in an extra credit class that was designed to work on a specific problem for each individual. They were partnered for assistance and accountability. It was told in the dual POV and was set on a college campus.

The Partnership is such a cute book! It's not your typical New Adult angsty, drama-filled story, so if that's what your looking for you might want to give this one a pass. But if you want a book that's fun, flirty, and light-hearted, with just a bit of conflict, then snatch this one right up- you won't be sorry!

Kyle and Lani are complete opposites who are partnered up in one of their college classes. They are both so endearing! He's brash, cocky, and sarcastic. She's quiet, caring, and reserved.

The Partnership is the first book in Charlotte Penn Clark’s Extra Credit series, and after reading and enjoying some of the author’s other work I was curious to see what this series would bring us.

In many ways, The Partnership is like my other Charlotte Penn Clark reads. It was quick and enjoyable, but it didn’t quite have the depth I usually enjoy in my novels. It’s fun if you’re looking for something you can quickly read through, something to pass a wee bit of time, but it doesn’t quite have t

WOW!
Just finished the book not two minutes ago. I have to digest before I put it down on paper.

I'll start with the obvious aspects of the book:

Author: Clark Charlotte - This is my first book of hers, I've had the pleasure to read. I found it free on amazon not to long ago, in fact as of today it still free. If I were you I would go grab it before she changes her mind.

Narrative: Fist person with Lani and Kyle POV. I really enjoy stories that have the MMC POV as well as the MFC. Give me the chance

I was given this book in exchange for a review.
Well what can I say except that I enjoyed it a lot (I finished it in one sitting)! I connected with the characters and it wasn't the usually predictable trope. The plot is a dual narrative (which I love) of Lani and Kyle, both put together in this extra credit class for things they did and problems they need to face up to. The both of them are opposites but come together to help each other figure out their problems and end up falling for each other.

The Partnership by Charlotte Penn is witty as hell, I was reading like a normal reader would and suddenly would start chuckling, in the middle of the night, on an airplane! So yeah...
The story revolves around people seeing each other for who they are, a group of students, bonding over the fact that they have to take an additional class to either better their scores or as a "semester long detention", whom they might not have gotten to know in any other circumstances. How the layers come off and y

Lani and Kyle are both signed up for a pilot class for students who are in trouble called Extra Credit. Kyle is angry and restless and needs to pass a composition class or be wont graduate. Lani does not like to make waves and has been put in the class even though she did nothing wrong.

Lani is the opposite of Kyle, she is introverted and bookish. But as they say… opposites attract.

Quick Summary: What a super cute love story! I found this romance to be very engaging. The protagonists in story one had great chemistry. It was definitely an opposites attract matchup.

What I Liked: I really loved the Extra Credit class concept. The female students in the class had spice and sass, and the guys were so sweet. The stories of each partner set grabbed my attention.

What I Did Not Like: While conflict existed in the story, it was pretty mild. The couple in this book faced a unique c

Charlotte Penn Clark is a new author to me, and I really enjoyed The Partnership, the 1st installment in the Extra Credit series. From the start, her writing really engages you in the lead characters, and story development, so expertly, that leaves you gliding through the pages for more. The two main characters, Kyle and Lani, come from different worlds, brought together in a Extra Credit Class at University for totally different reasons. More

Wish I could have had extra credit like that!

This was a nice story about college love that delved into the personalities and insecurities of a group of college students taking a remedial "extra credit" class to improve their grades or wipe out disciplinary actions. This first book in the series focuses on ROTC senior Kyle, an EMT who is outwardly outgoing, but emotionally closed off and has some underlying anger issues, and Lani, a dancer who refuses to be the center of attention or "make any wa

The Partnership by Charlotte Penn Clark is a great YA/NA romance. Ms. Clark has given us a book that is well-written. It is in alternating first-person point of view format, not my favorite, but the story made up for it. The characters in the story are outstanding and make this a fun read. Kyle hates that he's being sent to the Extra Credit program. Lani is embarrassed that she is forced into Extra Credit for something she didn't do. Lani and Kyle's story is loaded with drama, angst, humor and s ...more

This was a new author for me and I am really glad I took a chance. The story was not your average jock guy, geek girl, there was a lot more to it than that. Feelings and emotions were really well explored in this book and the way in which childhood/teenage trials can really change the path of your life and how you experience love was honestly explored. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and will be seeking out more books by this author.

This was a sweet, cute read and I enjoyed it. The characters were engaging and I liked the tension slowly simmering between them. Lani always ran away when things started to get interesting which got annoying. I liked Kyle; Lani presence ties him in knots - he's affected by her and isn't afraid to ride out the wave.
