*****Please be advised that this series contains steamy sexual content!***** There's no passion like the love of a soldier. The Gettysburg Ghost series consists of three individual yet interconnected stories of eternal love between ghosts of Civil War soldiers and modern-day women who live and work in the historic town of Gettysburg. The first book concerns Confederate soldier Jesse Spenser, who died in the battle of Gettysburg more than a century ago. He's in love with Lucy, a waitress who works in a tavern in town. He aches to approach her and tell her how he feels, but she's terrified of ghosts. The second book concerns Theresa, a psychology student who counsels the weary spirits of Civil War soldiers to help guide them to Heaven. She was supposed to help Sean cross over. She wasn't supposed to fall in love. The third book concerns Remy, a young woman who runs ghost tours but doesn't believe in ghosts. Little does she know, she has a ghostly secret admirer. Unseen, Private Avery O'Rorke frequently joins Remy on her nightly ghost tours, and has fallen in love with her. The Gettysburg Ghost Series is a three-book paranormal romance series with adult content and is intended for mature audiences only. Darling Gettysburg Soldiers

I just loved this trilogy celebrating Gettysburg, it's Battlefields, National Cemetery and Park as well as all those that fought and died there July 1-3, 1863. Yes even Abraham Lincoln and his famous Gettysburg address. We know it is probably the most haunted Battlefield in American history as well with its ghosts and hauntings as well in the whole Gettysburg area engaged in combat back then. It was the deadliest battle as well of the Civil War with so many lost. Anyway it actually has compelled me to go visit Gettysburg later this year if at all possible. Yes I feel it calling me too.
This is an intertwined trilogy with a whole cast of characters living and dead. Even our ghostly soldiers get there HEA happily or heavenly ever after too in some form or fashion.

Fantastic series!

I truly enjoyed these 3 books. All of the characters drew me in, quickly. When I reached the second book, I honestly thought it would be the same as the first, but it wasn’t. I also thought the third would repeat the first two - it didn’t. I’m so glad I continued on with all three. The author also did a fantastic job in tying up all of the loose ends in the epilogue. I rarely write reviews, but I want to spread the word - these are worth it. Can’t wait to start the next series.

I absolutely loved this entire box series and was genuinely upset when it ended. I'm a HUGE Gettysburg fan and the kids and I go often. We've had ancestors that fought in the battle and we're planning to move there. And this writer does a wonderful job bringing you to the area. I've eaten at the tavern she uses for inspiration and she was wonderful with describing it. I couldn't put the stories down and even now, I've not found another book like it that compares to this story. This is a must read book for your library.

A nice ghostly tale.

I enjoyed the stories in this trilogy book. I enjoy ghost and paranormal stories and loved the characters.
So why 3 stars? The errors within not withstanding, this read as more of a young adult novel, with all the detailed sex. I could just feel all the teen hormones moaning. Except for some of the ghosts, morals and beliefs were rather lacking.

Fascinating Read

A tender heartwarming historical fiction. Fascinating twists and turns that keep you guessing what will happen next. The characters are interesting and real. Can't help falling in love with each one. Definitely an author to follow and look forward to her other books.

Gettysburg

I found this series handled sensitive subjects well. These books didn't draw you in so you just Had to read them but it was easy to find yourself enjoying them. Each could be read as a stand alone but Ms Fausnet let them flow one into another. All were enjoyable.
