Yeah, I’m trouble… so what? Women seem to like it. That and my big… bank account. Who am I kidding? They like what I can do with my tongue too.

I had a good thing going. Until my father threatened to cut me off if I didn’t settle down. So I picked the one woman he couldn’t object to.

Falling for her was never part of the plan.

I really enjoyed this book, but wasn’t overly ecstatic about it.
The characters meshed well, but at the same time I felt like I’ve read this book before.
Sexy and hot.

This would have been so much better if it had an English editor. Apart from the typos this book was distracting due to the Americanisms. It is set in London with English characters and yet the author talks about "downtown", "brownstone buildings", "semesters" etc. It should also be noted that Mr Trouble accounts for only 36% of the book. The next 41% is another story, Mr Cocky and the final 20% is London Bound and ends in a cliffhanger.

I needed a light read and I'm glad I found this one. It was perfect. Jarred is the playboy billionaire, out partying every night, who finds himself suddenly cut off from his trust fund by his father. His father has two stipulations in order for him to receive it again - get a job and find a nice girl. Jarred tells him he has a nice girl and is engaged but it has been a secret. Kinsley is Jarred's father's PA and is about to loose her apartment. Jarred makes a deal with her.

MR. TROUBLE BY: NANA MALONE
This was a cute contemporary romance. It was a quick read, which explains why like went to love rather briskly. The characters were well developed and likable. Kinsley was smart, sweet, independent lady and Jarred was your typical billionaire on the playboy path that needed something or someone to point him in a better direction. While it sounds pretty standard for the romance genre, I liked that Jarred wasn't a total jerk. It seemed like it was more him finally li

This book was a fun read! I found myself simply devouring it in a couple of hours. Jarred is a trust fund boy who does nothing but party. It's finally time for Mr. Trouble to grow up and move beyond his playboy ways. At least, that's what Jarred's father is insisting on, so Jarred enlists Kinsley's aid as a fake fiancee to satisfy his dad. But then they get to know each other better (and so do we) as we discover Jarred's surprising emotional depth and Kinsley's hard-won inner strength, and the line between fake and real starts to get real blurry. The best romances are when finding your match utterly and completely changes your lif ...more

Mr. Trouble is an interesting story and there is chemistry between Jarred and Kinsley. The story follows the typical as far as fake fiancee romances go - rich playboy needs a wife to keep his money and down on her luck girl needs money fast. Jarred and Kinsley are good together and I liked that they didn't immediately jump into bed, but they did seem to fall for each other rather quickly, especially considering the length of the book. Overall, it is an entertaining read with a relatively low ang ...more

This is one book that's hard to resist, which is one of the things I enjoy about Nana Malone books is that they don't feel the attraction to each other. Jarred Maloney is Mr Trouble. #bookstuffing. Took it from 2.5 star to 1 star for the book stuffing. Story ends at 74%

Story and characters were quite good, probably needed a bit more imagination/creativity. It would have benefitted from:
- some basic knowledge of London - even a google search would have shown that most of her premises about London were wrong! I can’t even begin to comment on all the nonsense. It’s one of the world’s great cities, the author must be able to find Londoners!
- language was completely American, in

When Jarred is given an ultimatum by his father to settle down or to be cut off financially, he strikes a deal with his father, saying he already has a steady girlfriend but then has to back up his statement with fact. The problem was to find that girl at short notice. When he keeps on bumping into his father's PA, he makes her an offer she can't refuse. Enter Kinsley, his father's assistant who is in need of money to save her home.

Well, the story has potential but it feels like the author got tired of developing the storyline and characters halfway there and went straight to the HEA. I agree with some of the other reviews. Even though the book was set in London there were only a few words here and there that reminded you of that. It was a good read to pass the time but it felt a bit underwhelming. Fun quick read. Jarred and Kinsley, a fake engagement to satisfy both of their needs turns quickly into the real thing. Petite, shy Kingsley can definitely hold her own against Jarred's dad her boss and Jarred's ex, Susan so well that Jarred is intrigued and want to know Kinsley even more. They also have strong chemisty that neither one of them can explain since Kinsley would not be first choice of Jarred as evident when he approached Kinsley and her engaged cousinn Rachel, seeking out Rachel's ...more

Good story

Jarred was really a hurting and misunderstood guy and not necessarily the playboy the tabloids made him out to be. He and Kinsley had an insta love relationship. I think she was very immature in her response to the issue with Susan which was proven by her immediate forgiveness of Jarred for something he hadn't done. Wasn't expecting the additional 2 books. I felt Mr. Trouble was rushed to the end.

Nana's love of all things romance and adventure started with a tattered romantic suspense she borrowed from her cousin. It was a sultry summer afternoon in Ghana, and Nana was a precocious thirteen. She's been in love with kick butt heroines ever since. With her overactive imagination, and channeling her inner Buffy, it was only a matter a time before she started creating her own characters.
