You're in good hands with Haviland!!! Doesn't matter what genre Nancy chooses from her pot of gold, the end result is the same. An outstanding piece of literature!

Blind Faith is book two of the Steel Jackals MC series. I figured this series would be difficult to read because I am not a fan of the genre. Well I am a way....for my boys in this series. The story although borderline dark for obvious reasons, is a fabulously emotional read! The feels! What a ride!

Josh and Tish are fabulous

I was honored to receive an ARC for an honest review. To be honest myself, I wasn't sure if I was going to like this series, but I was going to give it a chance and YES!!!!!!!.....I'm so glad I did!!!!!....I was afraid that Josh was going to be protrayed as a dominating, overbearing ass. But, you learn his background in this book and can understand his attitude. Plus, he absolutely loves Tish. I was also afraid Tish, being younger, would just let Josh take over her life. No, not happening. Tish ...more

This has been a really enjoyable beginning to a new MC series by Haviland. I have hit/miss loved her Wanted Men series ( funfact, this book at the very end ties in her Wanted Men series to this MC )

The first book Blind Devotion was a slice of addicted pie. To see the connection between Josh and his young queen Tish. He helped keep an eye on her since she was ten years old, the poor girl prac

Five unbelievably fantastic stars! If you love MC reads like I do, then please, download immediately. I loved the first book, but book 2 hit ALL the right notes. Alpha male? check! Lovely heroine? check! Host of other brothers of the MC that you can't wait to read about? Check! Not only other Steel Jackals, but introduction into the ODMC and hints of the Wanted Men series that I love so much. What more could a girl ask for? Josh and Tish's story is really so sweet and they just draw you in. His ...more

Josh the Guardian Sylvan did the unthinkable. He claimed a girl eighteen years his junior as his old lady. His young queen. Now? All he had to do was protect her like one.

Oh. My. God. This book.

The Steel Jackals series has officially cemented itself as an all time favourite for me and now I’m chomping at the bit for more. Oh and for the die-hard Wanted Men fans, a few familiar friends pop in to say hello in this series too! :)

Well I have to say I would have given it 5 but I had issues with "I am the boss do as I say". Sorry I am just not that type of woman and sometimes that line of crap just rubs me the wrong way.

I liked the tie in at the end to the wanted men series. I was an idiot and kept saying Vex I heard that name before...hey it's Caleb! Duh.

Tish was young and I know she had been in love with Josh forever, but she was just like a dog following her master with no say at all.

Josh was hot, but his ov

I read a lot of MC books, and I think Josh just won the title of King Alpha. Both Josh and Tish had a bad childhood that could have made them closed off and unable to love. Instead they grow beyond their childhood traumas and open themselves to the love they feel for each other.

These guys have some really unique road names; Guardian, Arbitrator, Irish and Mortician to name a few. They live for the brotherhood and support each other no matter the cost or consequences.

This was just so beyond what I could handle. He did not give a single fuck about her wants and needs out of life. He only cared about how he would shape and mold her to fit into the life that he wanted. I can handle some alpha shit but god this was too much. His complete disregard for her agency and autonomy was too much to read. He also didn't give a fuck that she wan't ready to get pregnant and told her to stop talking about how she wanted to wait a couple years because he didn't feel like

It's hard to find a good MC romance book where the guys not a manwhore and yet still stay true and believable. This book was just that. Not once did it stray from the dark and gritty world that is the MC lifestyle. The author wrote this story in such a way that you feel the danger each of the members of the Steel Jackals exhibit, they are not afraid to kill and kill again to maintain the status quo, to protect their family and those precious to them.

I fell in love with the hero and heroine in t

I am a HUGE fan of Nancy Haviland's Wanted Men series so when I learned that she was writing an MC series I knew I would have to read it, even though I have never really tried that genre before and was a little concerned if it would be for me, but I am so glad that I did. Compelling, gritty, tough, and sizzling, this book (and series) has got it all. Josh, aka The Guardian, has lived through such torment and heartbreak that he will do everything he can to protect the one person who means more to ...more

4 unexpected stars

I'm a fan of MC genre novels because the possibilities of what the members do and how they act always depends on the image action of the author. Nancy Haviland's Steel Jackals MC series, more specifically Blind Faith (although I did get the opportunity to read the first instalment of the series), takes all of the best aspects of what I love from MCs and highlights them in her novel ~ the suspense, the mystery, the drugs, the illegal ac

WOW!! What an amazing ride filled with love, passion , suspense, action and anything to do with MC. Alpha male Josh loves his Tish with complete devotion. Possessive, obsessed, and devoted to her. He will protect her with his life! I loved this book! Couldn't put it down! Brilliantly written that kept me on the edge of my seat, eagerly awaiting the heat in the series. BLIND FAITH is a panting dropping, biker road of ecstasy!
Sheer stealthy biker goodness, that will bring the biker bad girl out in all of us! A raw, erotic tale of bad boy fighting for what he loves! Will he endanger his club? Will he lose it all or will Josh make it all work out?
Syyyy!!! But, maybe it’s that roaring Nancy Haviland style writing, which sealed the deal for me! Leave me on a high and buzzing from its effect!

Blind Faith, the second book in the Steel Jackals MC series, was a sexy and emotional story that had just the right amount of action and suspense. Josh and Tish's story picks up where it left off, with the two of them attempting to settle into the new stage of their relationship. I am usually not a fan of MC romance, but if Nancy Haviland wrote it, I'm reading it. She gives the reader so much more than the typical MC romance. Haviland is skilled at writing erotic romance with substance, with the ...more

5 Stars!

Woah! Haviland stepped it up a notch in the second instalment of what is fast becoming my favourite MC series!

It is no secret that Nancy Haviland is one of my favourite authors, everything she writes I read and everything I read, I LOVE!

Like with most of my favourite authors there is always an element of fear when they branch out from the original genre I discovered them in and step in a slightly new direction. So, I was a little hesitant when it came to her new MC series but as always m

I really like these characters and the connection they shared as well as this author's writing. However, and dear I say... there was a little too much focus on sex and to me a miss opportunity to balance the story with more of the drama that comes from living in the brotherhood that is the MC. Normally I like more action, a little grit and drama along with sexy times when comes to these types of plot but this book and the first were more so concentrated on the Josh and Tish's relationship
This was such a good book! If you enjoy MC books, you need to read this one!

Josh is an older, over protective, dominant, dirty talking biker, and Tish is the much younger girl he claims as his young Queen, or old lady. Despite being so young, Tish isn't a pushover though, she's still a strong, determined girl who knows what she wants, I like that about her. And while Josh is overprotective, he's not overbearing, he's not a jerk. I love the dynamic between them.

This was just a really sexy, fun s

I've been waiting for the continuation of Josh and Tish's story for a while. We learn a lot about Josh's back story and why he is so protective of Tish and he's a Alpha male to the core. Tish is Innocent but not a pushover.I absolutely loved seeing familiar faces in this book. Hopefully there will be more in future books. Nick and Nina are next and I can not wait.

Oh my dear lord, how have I never read anything by this author before, I am ashamed of myself!
This was superb, from start to finish I was totally blown away by not only the characters who I will say right now were brilliant but also by the pace and style of the author writing, this book wanted for nothing, it had its own life force that just lit it up from the inside.

After reading Blind Devotion, I wasn't quite sure what to expect in Blind Faith. Oh boy! What a nice surprise. Fabulous!

Josh and Tish have finally got their act together and are all set for a future together. Everything looks promising when along comes a threat which puts everyone in ultimate danger.

Josh has always been overprotective of Tish. It would appear that he wants to take control of her life but when he relives his past, everything becomes clear. What he does is out of love and fear o

ARC received for honest review for CJ’s Book Corner

So admittedly when I finished the first book in the series, Blind Devotion, I was not sure I was going to read the second. I wasn’t crazy about it or the characters. But I knew I needed to give it a chance. I was pleasantly surprised how the story and the relationship between Tish and Josh played out in this one. It became less about Tish trying to convince Josh she loved him and him being the big bad Alpha determined to control Tish. She seemed

Blind Faith picks up where Blind devotion left off and sees more of the couple Tish and Josh. This book was even more steamy and hot then the first book. Blind Faith had more of an MC theme to it then the first book in the serious and readers were introduced more to the dynamics of the MC. I enjoyed all the characters within the book.

Tish continues to surprise me with how much I enjoy the character. I enjoys the way that she doesn’t do everything that Josh tells her to do and how caring that she

Blind Faith is the second book in the Steel Jackals MC series and what a book it is! After finishing
Blind Devotion I couldn’t wait to see more from Tish and Josh. There were so many twists and turns in this book and it was in no way predictable! I was a bit worried that with the age gap between Tish and Josh I would find her a bit irritating but I didn’t. Her character grew nicely over the story, I liked

Blind Faith gives us the second part of Tish and Josh's love story - and what a wild ride it is. First and foremost this book gives us a deeper look into Josh's past and the hows and whys that make up who he is. He's had a rough life, suffering losses he shouldn't have had to and keeping a lot of it bottled up inside.

Josh is still keeping a few things from Tish and he knows he has to tell her those things, but he's afraid of how she'll react once she knows them.

Tish thought that with Josh out

Josh and Tish's story continues in this second book and I loved it as much as the first.

For one it has more bite to the story this time around, we see a lot more of their MC world, with a big threat that comes between them we see Josh trying to protect his young queen as well as doing his best to get her preggers. This made me LOL, I mean come on, dude, she's 19 years old, you've had her for four days and you already want to, as the bikers call it between them "cage her" with a pregnancy. I thou

FULL DISCLOSURE: I read the first book in the Steel Jackals MC series back in 2015 under a different title and pen-name. I was ridiculously disappointed in the outcome of the story. The Prequel was devastatingly good. It grabbed you by the heart and pulled you into the story like none other I had ever read. And then the story happened and it all went down hill .. fast! So almost two years later, here I am with an opportunity to see if the author has turned this story right side up. I took that o ...more

I love a biker book and this one was a good read.

It's not your typical "clubhouse" style biker culture it has more of a story and bikes just are a part of it for brotherhood, protection and family.

The hero is almost twice the heroines age but it doesn't really come across that he is that much older and wiser as he is full of his own emotional issues and I suppose insecurities while the heroine is aged because she basically had to grow up so fast with a neglectful mother. So it averages them out

I will admit to not having read Blind Devotion when I started this one. Because of that, I really had a tough time getting into the story. About 3 chapters in, I gave up, Then I found out there was another book to read first, which I already owned. I read it and that helped. However, not understanding the book in the beginning made it difficult for me to really get into the story.

Josh and Tish have so many obstacles to overcome. Their relationship is so full of drama. Just when I thought things
