I’m a simple guy. There are only two things I love: my family and playing professional football.

I may not understand why people get married, but I’d go anywhere for my brother, even his friend Camille’s wedding. Once I’m there, I realize our Bronx upbringing leaves me unprepared for the world of old southern money. Over twenty-four hours, I see scandal, threats

My favorite Kathryn Andrews book to date!

I'm so happy I was able to read an advanced reader copy of this book. I've been chomping at the bit to read it ever since I heard that Kathryn Andrews was writing another sports-centered and southern charm romance. I just LOVE that combination -- football and the beach? Antiques and lemonade? Big southern mansions and small town, charming little hearts? SIGN ME UP.

I will say, the beginning was kind of slow for me. It's hard for me to sign on to the "fake
Guilty Pleasures Book Reviews

I enjoyed Chasing Clouds, it was a pleasant distraction from work and I was pretty invested in Reid and Camille making their 'fake' marriage a real one. Both main characters were likeable, and pretty well developed. In fact, there was a lot I liked about this book. I especially enjoyed watching Camille reclaim her life, even when I found that story line to be a bit improbable. She was such a nice person, it would be nearly impossible not to want to see her happy. Reid was practically perfect

“Reid.” She pulls back, looks at my face, and then cups my cheek. Her thumb slides back and forth, making me feel treasured.

I've read Kathy's stories before and her writing in this case has a nice easy flow, this makes her story a joy to read and perfect to devour in one sitting. She perfectly delivered the story of a heroine who learns how to stand up for herself and a hero who is dumb struck by this heroine.
The result is a story that's endearing, charming and sweet.

The concept of Chasing Clouds was simple yet so unique in my eyes. Although I think that there are quite a few books with the same plot, it was exciting but especially new to me, since I haven't read a story like this before: A stranger speaking up at a wedding ceremony right before the "I do" and trying to save the bride he doesn't know from the groom and the marriage. I've never heard of anything like this happening in real life. It's

It's hard to write a spoiler free review of this book. I will try because right now I am all in my feelings. Kathryn Andrews always leaves me totally and completely in love. Not just with the hero or heroine but with her words and the aspect of her stories.

I adored Reid. His passion, dedication, thoughtfulness, and his heart. He was selfless in all this except his vulnerability. That was his fault. His past playing a subconscious part in his present. He is the true definition of action speaking

Kathryn Andrews has it all in this summer's feel-good, uplifting, swoony romance. Just when I thought I knew these characters, she pulled back more layers to reveal jaw-dropping surprises and heart-bursting moments. Chasing Clouds isn't just about falling in love—it's about forgiveness, acceptance, and the beauty of vulnerability. Five Southern-charm stars for this book!

Chasing Clouds by Kathryn Andrews
4.5 stars!!!

“They say the bigger they are, the harder they fall, and I think the earth is still suffering from the shockwaves of this one.”

Kathryn Andrews is one of those authors I have read from her very first book. She was one of those authors whose writing I connected with and she never fails to deliver a book with great characters, emotion, heart, passion and love, and Chasing Clouds was no different.

Oh my heck!!! Camille & Reid are THE BEST!!

Let's start off talking about this cover - are you as in love with it as I am? It holds special significance after you read the first couple chapters, too. Absolutely adore it!!

Now, the story. 10+++ stars! It's funny, unique, swoony and sweet. The characters leap off the page & become a part of you. The whole meet-cute is unconventional, the friendship they build is a fabulous journey, and the falling in love... *happy sigh* There are little s

34 Chapters. No Epilogue.

I kept reading this because I love Reid's character. I didn't like Camille. She was just to weak. Always worrying about what others thought. I don't like a weak heroine.
The situation with Claire was just to batty for me. And the ending was just bonkers. Instead on focusing on the impossible I wish it focused on the main characters and gave details on there wedding when they re marry, babies etc... instead of such a crazy insane ending. It made Camille sound like a loon

I loved this story!

There was such a gentleness to it that I felt it was one of those reads that slowly begins to wrap an arm around your heart and then, by the time you reach the ending, you find yourself in the a warm, safe embrace!

It was 'Southern Charm' meets'up and coming NFL starter' meets 'overbearing family expectations'...

I was literally floored at how seamlessly this was written...there was such an ease to the words as I found myself so invested in the storyline between the two easily l

Definitely my favorite book by this author so far and I LOVE this author! I was blessed with an ARC and couldn’t wait to dive in right away! It’s a page turner! The story never stops...each page grasps you right from the beginning. There are twists you never see coming...there’s a beautiful love story...there’s tragic heartbreak. It has everything. I laughed, cried, SWOONED over Reid (hard)’s just a brilliant story you’ll thoroughly enjoy! The chemistry between Camille and Reid is off the ...more

I read in a review it’s a slow burn and monotonous repetitive inner thoughts. Not my cuppa

I've read all of Kathryn Andrews' books and this is by far my favourite!

I was just 5% in the book and I already had this big smile on my face! I don't know what it was, okay so I know exactly what it was that made me smile and I knew I would enjoy this one.

descriptionHe’s just saved me and ruined me at the same time.

I will say this though, for me, the books started a tad slow and while I was into it I wasn't flipping pages like I usually do but when the setting changed from gold old Southern royalty to

Oh man I loved this book! It had everything I love. Plot twists, romance, one swoon worthy guy, and so much more. From the very beginning I was hooked. Camille is a daughter of a southern Senator expected to marry the man her father has chosen, and live the life her father and fiancé have planned. At the moment of truth, a stranger stands up and objects. Reid is an NFL player who has spent his life focused on the game to provide a better life for his mother and brother. He has no desire to ever ...more

I absolutely loved this book. The author drew me in immediately. Her writing style was one of my favorite things about the book. My other favorite thing was the two main characters Reid and Camille. From everything to the way they met to their fake marriage and all the drama that unfolds after. This book is filled with romance and passion filled with drama from the two of them as well as their families. I couldnt ask for a better romance concept. This was an old concept with a fantastic new twis ...more

A super hot and sticky summer read that builds excitement with every page you turn! I loved the chemistry the author brought to Camille and Reid’s relationship from the very beginning the sparks were flying of the page and dragging me into there world with them. Full of Southern drama and family dynamics that keeps the story more than your average romance book! I broke my heart for Camille so many times when I realised the huge weight she carries but Reid wasn’t baggage free either which I think ...more

I absolutely loved Chasing Clouds by Kathryn Andrews. This is a must read! For me this book had it all, plot twists, romance, friends to lovers, and more.
Did you ever do anything impulsive because you thought it was the right thing to do? Would you trust a stranger and marry him so you could be free to live your life on your own terms?
Chasing Clouds is a story about Camille, a southern debutant, whose life has been planned out by her controlling parents and fiancé. Camille used to be a free spir
What a beautifully written story.. I LOVE how Kathryn unravels everything.. the words and the emotions pull you in.. and make you feel everything.. once I got to the end and understood what happened.. my heart broke.. I have something in common with Camille (no spoilers) and I couldn’t even imagine what she went through.. brings tears to my eyes even thinking about.. yea I cried reading this book.. tears guys.. Beautifully written!

Camille & Reid’s story is such a beautifully story that has been written perfectly. The journey that these two characters take you one is one that you will never forget. I hope to Reid’s friends & family in the future. Maybe a HEA for his mother? This is my first book read by this author and trust me I will be reading The Hale Brothers series!

I just loved this book! It was my first book by Kathryn that I have read and it won’t be the last! I totally related to Camille as a southern girl myself. She had a similar personality and I saw myself in her. And Reid...Swoon! The whole plot was interesting and I thought it was different from what I have read before m. A few things it took a bit for me to pick up on, and when I did, things came together. I will definitely remember this book for a while and I look forward to more from Kathryn.

I stumbled across this book. Oh my good is it good. I could not put it down. You will fall in love with Reid immediately especially since he is a knight. Camille is needing a strong man that will make her grow in her own way.

I would have to give this book a 4 out of 5 star rating. I loved this book don't get me wrong but it just did not qualify as a 5 star book for me. The main characters were opposites in every way Reid the male main character was a football player from the Bronx raised by a single mother and Camille the female main character was a perfectly put together southern girl who comes from old money. But they couldn't be more perfect for each other, they fit like two pieces of a puzzle together. As I was ...more

My favorite Kathryn Andrews book to date! You know when you find that book, the one where you dread the percent climbing up as you turn the pages, the one that makes you laugh, smile, then brings you to tears? Chasing Clouds is that book. I was a wreck from emotions but in the best possible way because I didn't want it to end. Kathryn developed a beautifully written story with detailed characters, surroundings, and events that will engage your interest from the beginning. Every romance reader ne ...more

I've always been a big fan of Kathryn Andrews and her stories. Chasing Clouds has everything that I have come to expect (and enjoy) about her writing and storytelling. Her characters are sweet, but with substance, her writing is fresh and clean, and the plot was intriguing and kept me invested from page one until the words "THE END." I loved the blend of the tropes into something uniquely Chasing Clouds. It was a perfect summer read that had all the feels!

I don't normally read books that are all lovey dovey but I couldn't pass this one up because the blurb had me super interested.

This was a cute book. Low on drama and angst although for a moment I thought our girl Camille was just one step away from the looney bin. 😂😂😂
This was my first book by this author. It was beautifully written and I enjoyed it. 😊

I was once asked to give a three minute presentation describing who I am and here’s what I came up with…

Over ten years ago my husband and I were driving from Chicago to Tampa and somewhere in Kentucky I remember seeing a billboard that was all black with five white words, “I do, therefore I am!” I’m certain that it was a Nike ad, but for me I found this to be completely profound.
