85%, as the previous one.
This one goes way deeper into the background while also bringing back some old faces from the Teralin series (the Antrilii).
Jakob gets less appearance in this book, as the chest was brought to where Endric had intended and Jakob with his two fellows will spend most of the time there, learning about the past - Jakob's visions are what reveals the most of the backstory, with at least some explanation given by the end.
Roelle gets much more spotlight as she heads north to fi

For the love of the book gods why do authors continue to do this ? The first book had the perfect amount of pov characters why add more in the second book they were not even good point of view characters. It's a waste of my reading keep to the main characters and what is happening with them and I may actually find out what the hell is going on. Right rant over so onto jackob what the hell is he I still have no idea, yes he is a descendent of the original uniter but he has the power of the gods/b ...more

A really great series and book

I was doubtful at first, in starting to read a new author’s books, but I have been greatly surprised. D.K has a lot of series and if all are nearly as good as this one has been, well, I may just blow my goal away on Goodreads, just reading his stuff!

The story is very interesting but I have had several issues with grammar and other errors throughout the series. But it's good enough for me to complete it.

Not as good as the first book, but equally compelling. It keeps you reading until the very end.

Counting the days until book three!

I am so addicted to books by this author. Be aware that once you start a series by DK Holmberg, you won't be able to stop. It takes all my self control not to read all day. This is a great read. I loved that it is clean. I won't read anything that isn't. So far he has not let me down...for that reason alone he is worth my support...but he is also a very good author and gives me thoughts about good and evil and how we must strive to do what's right..not what is
