Able Team blasts' there way to Colombia this time around. It seems one night, a out of work woman and her young daughter are out on a private beach one night and witness a brutal murder. Turns out, the murderer is a son of a drug lord who commands an army of soldiers, slash, narco-trafficers. The son is caught and winds up on trial. He is set free because the witnesses are murdered themselves the night before the trial. He is released. The prosecuting attorney is appalled by the verdict but can't do anything about it. Until a stranger introduces himself after court.
Of course the stranger is the head of Able Team. Carl Lyons. He wants to know if the attorney wants to prosecute out of court. Which leads to Columbia. This starts of a firestorm of action that rips these pages up. Not only are Able Team after the druggies, a band of outlaw Guajiro, native northern Columbians are out for there fair share of the spoils.
This book brings the excitement back to a higher level than the last few in the series. Action is the key here. Quick build up, and then, blam, more destruction. G.F. Frost can write 'em when he's on.

The boys of Able seem to find themselves in a few situations where they dive right into the middle of an ongoing war, and that’s what happens in Fire and Maneuver.
After the son of a Colombian general and drug lord is set free for the murder of a park official during a cocaine smuggling operation, Able Team joins forces with a tough guy attorney and former Bolan compatriot to hunt him down.
They end up in Columbia, where the General is already fighting a war against tribal Columbians, and the team drops in on the action in no time.
Fast paced and energetic, this is a great Able read, with all members of the team getting some good coverage in the pages, especially Gadgets, who’s really on a roll in this one with his improvised cement truck bomb and communications jamming.
On to Tech War!

Better then it needs to be, has a nice set up. Actually sets up a plot and is kind of subdued in the first half til it goes nuts like usual for a men's adventure series book. The team is out to take out a drug ring with military like resources in Columbia. They hope by following the leader's son, who escaped a murder rap in the US because of his father's influence/money, they will find the main base. There are tons of violence in the second half of course and the last scene is a lot of fun.
Recommended for men's adventure fans, could easily be a stand alone. Again this one really is well written with a nicely done plot which lets face it is not always the norm in this sub genre.

Found this one fairly typical of the series tbh.
Action, gunfights etc exactly as you would expect in this genre of book.
Work has been hectic the last few days and I admit although I found this okay, it didn’t really entertain as much as they normally do.

A spin off series from his Executioner books. This series follows several secondary characters that band together. Recommended
