Suspense, Turmoil, and Change of Hearts Make For an Exciting Read

I’ve quite enjoyed living in the world of theater.  Lauryn’s descriptive ability puts me in dark theaters, and places few knew existed within the walls of the building. With her canny ability to weave together complicated main-character histories and its effect on the actors/actresses and a once lost-love affair beginning to re-simmer, makes an intriguing and worthy read.

If you didn’t read book one of the series, you’ll still be

I finished reading an Amorous Dance today. I am tearing up at the end of this book. Jessica Lauryn is a wonderful author and I am looking forward to her next book.

To be honest, I was entranced by her characters and the action in this book. It truly takes the OSCAR for unique storytelling. The complex relationship between Evan Masters and Hannah Rabourn is quite interesting to watch. Neither want to return to the love they once shared and yet it seems that the gravity pulling these two lovers to

What a great novel!

This story took me by surprise because although it had all the expected elements of romantic suspense, it's unique setting and complex characters made this book stand out. Ms. Lauryn took a risk by locating her fictional theater in a charming suburb of Manhattan when she could have 'used' the glitz and glamour of Broadway to help tell her story. Instead she created a world from the ground up with vivid storytelling. It works so well because the characters are detailed in a way

First, let me begin by saying, I've never read theatrical suspense. I'm skeptical about whether or not It'll hold my attention.

Hannah & Evan share a love that neither one of them are willing to admit to. They're both equally passionate about the theater which, both draws suspicion and keeps that spark alive between them. I loved the way they didn't want to love and the way they hated. The tension between them is palpable. I felt like I was in every scene.

In the beginning, there are many char

Her days of storytelling through the art of playing with dolls inspired her to write romantic suspense novels The Romance Reviews describe as having "Just the right amount of passion and romance!"
