Wendy is waiting for her aunt to bring her a new puppy. she ask her mom how long will it take. Her mother tells her, and then they make a bed for the dog. Then Wendy goes to ask her father how much longer until her aunt arrives. He tells her, Then they build a dog house. Wendy's new puppy gets there and the play the day away. when they get inside they play some more, and bot fall to sleep on the rug.

I like this story, it remind me of happy i was when i got my first puppy.

I could use this in my class let students know sometimes the best friends they can have are pets.

This book was about Wendy and her family receiving a puppy. Wendy was so excited for her aunt to bring her a puppy and she helped around the house with her mom and dad to prepare for the puppy. When the puppy got there, they played all day long until it was time to sleep and they fell asleep together.

I enjoyed this book because nothing is better than puppies.

I would use this book in my class to teach kids how important it is to take good care of pets

This is a good book to read to teach children about how big of a responsibility it is to have a puppy. This is also a good book for advanced readers to read.
