I received this book for free via Goodreads First Reads.

It is a short and informative book about lightning. The effects of it and how to make yourself safer in the event of being caught in a thunderstorm. It also debunks a few myths that might help to save lives if people were aware of those myths. It is written in such a way as to be understood without going too deep into the science which might lose people.

I would recommend this book as an educational tool that could be used in high risk areas

I won a copy of this book.

Interesting read. Nonkomo lays out in clear language how lightning comes about and how to avoid it if can. Definitely would recommend for teachers to use in their classrooms.
