The man never disappoints.
Welcome to E. Mayberry was awesome for so many reasons. Mainly because it was a full-length novel by Chris Genovese. I can never get enough of his stories, so be able to have more time with one was fantastic.
This story was different on so many levels. The pretense of living in an erotic neighborhood was so enticing. The way the story was told was incredible. The plot seemed to have been pretty well thought out, although, I am learning that Chris Genovese gets an idea and just runs with it. The side characters were described well. I was surprised that the story, at one point, took on such a serious and sad plot twist. I never saw it coming. I was sad and pissed. I understand the necessity of it, but it still hurt. And hurt a lot. Shame on you Chris Genovese for making me feel anything but turned on and humored by the wit your books always bring.

Holy F***!!! This was a freaking epic book! WOW! A no handed read is what it is. The hottest freaking book I have ever read in my entire life... I believe... Or that I can remember. I want to find an E. Mayberry to live in darnit! It kinda broke my heart but it was hard to break my heart too much when the steam was coming from everywhere.
This is about a girl who is a sex addict and loves sex in all forms, but it is more there to feel the loneliness void that she has. The unloved void. When she attempts at committing suicide, she is put in a hospital where she meets the love of my life. Lol. He then takes her under his wing and has her move with him to a community that nobody is to speak of... Erotic Mayberry.
So many different obstacles and stuff went down in E. Mayberry. It totally left me spent!!! I loved the book so much and I totally recommend it as one click buy!!!

I am not new to Chris Genovese’s work but this one blew me away. He has a true gift with putting words together to make you feel as if you are in the story and this book was no different. For a book being a full length novel, it read like a novella and I could not put it down. I had to keep reading because I was intrigued by the story.
The book is Sunshine’s story from her college days until she became a resident at E. Mayberry. She details the daily life (fun, sexy, and kinky) and her internal struggles living there. In a way, she hid the person she was in order to conform to what society thought she should be. Haven’t we all done that at one time or another in our life? And once she embraced who she truly was—that is when she found her true happiness. But sometimes the gods take that happiness away from us. You will have to read the book in order to experience this book from beginning to end. You won’t be disappointed but rather satisfied actually.
Now, I wanna live in E. Mayberry. Who doesn’t?

I have read multiple books by this author and this, by far, is my favorite. Welcome to E. Mayberry is a fun filled adventure in the daily lives of it's residents. This book is packed full of lighthearted, naughty fun and interesting characters that will keep you turning the pages. Chris Genovese writes in a way that makes his characters and stories come to life. I fell in love with this book from the beginning and I really look forward to reading more adventures from this little community.

I don’t even know how to review this. There so much I can and want say but I can’t put it into words. From the start of this book you know what your going to get, but it’s the experience that puts this book ahead of other erotic type novels. It was sexy and kinky, but also funny and gives you all the feels. I loved Sunshine’s character. She tells us this story buts like we are right there experiencing and learning everything with her. It is a fun community but just like life, not everything is always sunshine and rainbows. If you want something different. A book you can’t help but fall into and never want to escape then read this book. I was so sad when it ended. I want to read more books based around this community. It was so unique and enticing, that I wish it was truly real, because it sounds like a fun place to visit. 5 give me more stars. One book about this community was not enough for me to get my fill. #2OCCJD

Wow! Fantastic story!
Ok, so this has been on my TBR for a while and I thought I knew what it would be about. But boy, did this book take me by surprise?!?
Yes, I was right to expect a story with lots of hot chemistry but what I didn't expect was a soulful story with deep emotions......especially the sort that made me cry!
This story was so much more than kink and all the taboo that can be attached to it! Just wow......it actually blew me away! The storyline was amazing and I was completely invested in the characters!
But the twist!!!! Whoa!! I did not see that coming! Just brillaint! But don't take my word for it, just read it!

Did I like this book? No. I loved it!
This is the kind of book that is absolutely creative and unique. Everytime you think it might get boring, it blows your mind a little more! I loved learning all about Sunshine and her life story as she explains it. She's absolutely fascinating! And the scenes might cause you to lose control and need a break (or a few breaks). I switched between the audible and reading it myself and I'm so happy I made that decision! When my eyes were tired, Lynn read this book beautifully to me. I highly recommend this book!! It will not disappoint!

January 9, 2017This is the first book I've read by Chris Genovese. I've been in his Facebook Mayberry page for a while but hadn't gotten to his books yet but Welcome to E. Mayberry seemed like it would be a great bit of smutty fun as an introduction so I grabbed it.
Stormy Winters is a porn star who so hates her life that she tries to kill herself. The psychiatrist treating her at the hospital, Dr. Bastion becomes infatuated with her, renames her Sunshine and takes her home with him. But home isn't an ordinary place. He lives in a secluded enclave called Erotic Mayberry. In Mayberry, nothing is off limits. All manner of sexual activities are not only allowed but encouraged. There are rules but they are mostly for "pets". Sunshine becomes the pet of Bastion and starts to immerse herself in the debauchery, though she has doubts.
The scenes in this book are beyond hot. Chris Genovese's erotic imagination is definitely wild. The scenes take ordinary situations like musical chairs to a whole new level. The writing is quick paced without being rushed and storyline of Sunshine's acclimation to the group is a great combination of character interplay and internal debate. For all the she was a porn star with very little boundaries, Sunshine is portrayed as a woman with a conscience. Bastion starts out as a conundrum saying one thing and then doing another but his behavior and reasons for it are explained well.
But that is where my problem comes in. It is difficult to explain with giving spoilers but the ending takes an unexpected turn. One that makes me question all that Bastion claimed he felt for Sunshine and all that she was portrayed to be. Being this being my first Genovese book, I'm not sure if this is his style of writing, throwing his readers for a loop but it definitely threw me. My initial reaction was that the ending tainted my otherwise highly enjoyable reading experience but as I thought about it is possible Chris is making a subtle point about what we become when we steep ourselves into something so deeply that we lose who we are.
Or maybe I am overthinking it. Maybe this is just an erotic joyride with one helluva twist at the end. This is one where I would recommend this with a warning label - caution may make you throw your reader.

Holy Moly this book was hot! It’s kinky erotica at it’s finest. This book captured me from the beginning and I couldn’t put it down. The characters, the plot, there’s nothing I didn’t love about this book. A fantastic story and a job well done Chris!

I didn’t know what to expect from this book, but Chris Genovese blew me away. I was so invested in every word, I didn’t see what was coming next. He made me gasp, but not for the reasons one might think! It was erotic and sexy and hot and also left me breathless a few times. Welcome to E. Mayberry is definitely one I will be re-reading!

OMG this book! I wish I could give it 50 stars! This book was super hot from page 1 all the way to the HOA rules at the end! I am not sure how Chris came up with this, but I can tell you I would LOVE to live in E Mayberry! I absolutely LOVED the entire book! I LOVED the way the story was told! Welcome to E.Mayberry a charming little neighborhood full of kinky secrets. Well if the title is anything to go by you are guaranteed that the 'Emperor of Erotica' is going to take you on one wild ride. In true Chris Genovese style he throws us in at the deep end introducing us to Stormy Winters who is telling her story to Detective Tension, who can on any day of the week leave his shoes under my bed.....just saying. Stormy is a lost soul looking for love in all the wrong places that is until she meets Bastian. He is just what the Doctor ordered (pun intended) and Stormy or Sunshine as he calls her is just what he needs to replace a void in his life. Off they go to E. Mayberry where the neighbors are more than a little friendly in an oh so good way. We meet a wonderful array of characters who are guaranteed to leave a smile on your face. Just when you think the story is going in one direction and life is all pool parties and orgasms the author takes you in a completely different direction leaving you wondering what the #*%* is going on. Sunshine is more than a little naughty and at times I felt sorry for Detective Tension as she teased and played with him until he was ready to explode. This is Chris Genovese's first full length book and I don't think it will be his last. It read like a novella, it was an easy read and the story moved quickly and once again he proves his ability to write erotica extremely well from a woman's POV. Of course the question everyone is asking is 'where is E. Mayberry?' and I'm guessing he's not going to tell us anytime soon ;)

Holy Hannah!! What a story!!
Reading Sunshine telling her story of her life in E. Mayberry to the detective made me want to believe that E. Mayberry existed somewhere in this crazy world. I'm not sure I'd request entry - I'm not that bold or uninhibited, but to think it might be out there was exciting!
Sebastian, a.k.a. Dr. Bastian, has found his pet. Someone as free-spirted and addicted to the pleasure as he is. Bringing her to E. Mayberry, he takes her through the introductions, the rules, the games, and the pleasure. Together they take advantage of all the community has to offer, including the residents. While he willingly shares her, there is no doubt she is his and he'll do anything for her - even if it costs him everything.
Sunshine has finally found where she belongs. With Bastian in E. Mayberry. Her proclivities aren't shunned, her pleasure freely asked for and given. And she belongs to him. What could be better? She loves him and knows he loves her. Together, they live in bliss. But, sometimes things can be too good to be true, can't they?
The goings on in this community were nothing short of hot, sexy, adventurous and liberating. Despite the "Free-love" bylaws and overall attitude, you could tell there was a true love between Sunshine and Sebastian, even up to the end. And what an end it was! I NEVER saw that coming!! This book! It was a non-stop ride for me. I just couldn't put it down. I thought this book was going to be fun, sexy,and a crazy little peek into E. Mayberry, but it was so much more. It's a bit of a mystery, with romance and the hottest scenes you can imagine. If you have read this author before you know he can write brilliantly, but this book was off the charts...I felt like I lived in this secretive gated community! I will say I didn't see all the twists and turns this story would take...this is a deliciously dark novel with characters that you won't be able to forget...five star read all the way....get ready for the book hangover, I thought about this story long after I read the last page!

Erotica at it's finest 😍
If you have not read any Chris Genovese yet you are clearly missing out. His way of writing Erotica is sheer incredible. I have read this book multiple times and with each read I discovered something new. Don't think that this book is just about sex. The story behind E. Mayberry, Sunshine and Bastian is so much more...it's tragic, eye opening, sensual and in the end leaves you in total disbelieve.

If you have not read any Chris Genovese yet you are clearly missing out. His way of writing Erotica is sheer incredible. I have read this book multiple times and with each read I discovered something new. Don't think that this book is just about sex. The story behind E. Mayberry, Sunshine and Bastian is so much more...it's tragic, eye opening, sensual and in the end leaves you in total disbelieve.

What. the. fuck. did I just read?
Honestly, it isn't very often that a book is able to surprise me anymore and I thought I knew where this one was going but I was so wrong. I literally just finished it and my mind is still spinning. I'm surprised by the depth of emotions I felt going through this book. It seems like a simple kinky story but it goes so much deeper than that. And at the end, I was literally screaming at my kindle with tears in my eyes. Will definitely be checking out more books from this author...just as soon as I recover from this one.

Welcome to E. Mayberry it is erotica at its finest! A Wow book to read! Let me tell you this book is HAWT & Kinky!!! And, you just might need to change your panties after reading this book. Yes, it is just that HOT! This is the first book that I have read by Chris Genovese and it will not be the last.

Best One Hand Read that Brought Me to Tears
I just finished this amazing book and I am speechless! This book is definitely the best one hand read I have EVER read and recommend reading this one when there are no interruptions. It also has left me in tears where I could smack Chris Genovese and say, "Why?!?!" The relationship between Sunshine and Bastian is so much more than what's on the surface. I just can't say enough about this book except Go Read It!

Fantastic!!!
This is my first book by Chris and I loved it. The storyline was so interesting to follow that I didn't want to out it down. I don't know how he came up with this, but I am so glad he did. Thanks Chris and I can't wait to read more.

Welcome to E. Mayberry
First off I want to say this is my first Chris Genovese book. Up until just a few weeks ago I had never heard of him. Then one day he was introduced to an author group I'm in and I decided to try out some books. He said to start with this one and I'm so Happy he did. Cause this book was AMAZING.
I don't want to give up too much but I do want everyone to read this book. It's a story about Stormy Winters and she is a porn star that is addicted to sex. She's also, in my opinion, ashamed of herself and the feelings that she has. She meets Sebastian who's a doctor after she tried to commit suicide. Bastian is the one that introduces her to E. Mayberry the most erotic neighborhood around that is the best kept secret too.
In this neighborhood there are no sexual limits. Everyone is open and free to do whatever it is they enjoy sexually. The only real rules that they have are for the "pets" of the neighborhood. Let's just say we aren't talking about dogs and cats people. So Stormy, aka, Sunshine becomes the pet of Bastian and starts to immerse herself into this new world even though at times she's extremely confused on how she feels about it.
How in the world Chris Genovese comes up with some of these scenes in this book is beyond me. His erotic imagination is off the charts with the way he takes simple kids games that you would play at small fairs and flips them to a whole new level. Pie eating contest, musical chairs, bounce houses, and the fishing pole games will never be the same to me again after reading this book!!! Hell even the simple things like watching TV and going to the carwash he makes into something that will blow your mind.
Now that being said I want to say again this is my FIRST book by Chris Genovese so I'm not for sure if this is his style of writing or not. But by the end of this book I was ready to throw my damn kindle into the wall. He totally flipped on what I thought the ending would be to what it ended up being. I found myself feeling different about Bastian than I had felt throughout the beginning of the book. Maybe I'm misinterpreting it maybe not. All I know is I was prepared to read a hot erotic book and it was. It definitely was. However, I wasn't expecting for Chris to make subtle points about how we sometimes seep into other people so much that we begin to lose a part of who we are by trying to please them.
I also want to give a few warnings to this book. Number one it will make you want to throw your kindle and number two I also bought this book on audio because if reading it was hot then listening would be better right? Well while listening to this book I had almost a four hour car trip to drive and thought perfect I can finish this book. Well I was immersed in listening I wasn't paying attention to my speed limit. Long story short I was pulled over and didn't lower the sound on this book and the cop doing his duty and taking all my info walks back to his car to write me a speeding ticket. However, when he comes back to give me everything back he says, I'm letting you off with a warning cause if I'd been listening to that book I probably would be driving 25 miles over myself.

It's like Mayberry on Viagra and with some kind of erotic vapor in the air. Maybe not completely unlike a nudist colony, only, maybe a lot more sex, maybe a nudist swinger colony, with a healthy dose of kink thrown in. There are so any times when I thought to myself, "holy &%(^(& how does he come up with this?!" This could have gone horribly wrong, like a bow chicka bowwow porn with cheesy music and stilted dialogue. It’s nowhere near that. It’s ridiculously hot and steamy and you may need a personal massager on the ready as you read but the story is also really good. The story follows a young Sunshine rising to her apex sexually, guided by her partner Bastian, in a community of welcoming, real, people that just like a little more spice in their life. And I say apex of her sexuality because, this is sex on a level she’s never experienced, even in the adult film industry.
This is like your wildest sexual fantasy that might even border on slightly uncomfortable because it’s so outside the norm. This is not vanilla. This is as far from vanilla as you could get. I for one, LOVE that. You have to go into this book expecting to be blown away with .... I don’t even know if Amazon will let me say!
But its also so much more than that. It’ll ask you to question social mores; “what is a whore?” “what is a normal relationship?” “what is normal?” We have a moral code to live by, right? Well, they still live by the Golden Rule in this book. There is no adultery because everyone is open to everyone else. It’s the very essence of “love is love.” There’s no stealing, no coveting, no murdering, no dishonoring, no abuse. Everything is consensual and pleasurable. There are rules; it’s not a free for all. So why is this kind of love, these kinds of relationships so ‘wrong’ in so many others’ eyes? That’s what this book, in my opinion, asks of you, the reader.
And there is another part of the story, what happened in E. Mayberry? Detective Tension is there to find out. How does E. Mayberry operate? How is it able to function in a world where such relations are so taboo?

Wow! I love Chris’s books but wasn’t sure how much I’d like Welcome to E Mayberry because I knew it was going to be quite different. What I didn’t know was how different it was going to be and how freaking much i was going to love it. I’m not always a fan of erotica, but I wanted to give this one a try. Holy mother on a hot tin roof! I was kind of speechless for a second after reading it. First off, this book was written in a totally different way from any book I’ve ever read. Sunshine was talking to a detective about her story. So she’d be talking to him but then get back to telling him her story about E. Mayberry. I also loved how it was formatted. It wasn’t long paragraphs like a normal story would look like.
E. Mayberry was a neighborhood full of happy people who loved to have a good time (sexy time if you really want to know). There were crazy, insane rules the community had to follow (some ideas actually given by people in his fan group). Some were fun & some, not so much. I’m in awe as to how Chris made everything fit into the proper places in this book. Just when I thought he couldn’t surprise me anymore, he goes & does it again & again & again. I laughed, I smiled, I rooted for characters & then when I didn’t ever think he could make me shed even one tear in any of his books....he did. I shed several. I got mad. I wasn’t happy with him. I wasn’t expecting it. It hurt like a ball of fire being shot through my heart. As I read further, I totally understood why Sunshine was telling this story. As much as Chris made my heart hurt, I’m still in shock at how much I loved this book. I’m in shock that he could write something so crazy and keep me drawn in to reading more & more, not wanting to stop. How he fit the crazy rules & regulations into different places throughout this book making them all work. I’m seriously in awe. He certainly has one crazy imagination. If you’re looking for something different & you don’t mind a lot of hotness (that’s putting it mildly), grab this one & take a chance on the members of E. Mayberry. You might surprise yourself that you like it so much. I certainly did.
