Got this children's book from a Little Free Library. I delighted in lifting the flaps to see what was under them just as much as any kid. Even better, the picture underneath would blend just as well with the rest of the scene. We see inside the castle walls, a squire's training, a joust, a hunt, and a siege.

This is a great book we got for my daughter while visiting Durham, England because my daughter was so excited about the castles. She loves the pictures. She will love it more when she can read it.

Das Buch habe ich für meine DAF-SchülerInnen gelesen: mit schönen (und lustigen) Bildern wird das Leben auf einer Ritterburg geschildert: die Teile von der Burg, ein Fest, eine Jagd, die Ausbildung zum Ritter, usw... und dabei kann man Teile aufklappen. Das ist sehr toll gemacht!
