Miro Jones is living the life: he’s got his exciting, fulfilling job as a US deputy marshal, his gorgeous Greystone in suburban Chicago, his beloved adopted family, and most importantly, the man who captured his heart, Ian Doyle. Problem is, Ian isn’t just his partner at work—Ian’s a soldier through and through. That commitment takes him away from Miro, unexpectedly and of ...more

Mary Calmes has done it again! She managed to outdo herself with the third book the Marshals series. Miro and Ian and back, and better than ever!

The sex is ridiculously hot, the passion is off-the-charts and the love between these two men gets stronger and stronger with every turn of the page.

If you loved, or even liked the first two books in the Marshals series, you own it to yourself to read this latest installment. You will be thrilled with Miro and Ian's new, fr

THIS. This is what perfection is. God! The cameos, the action, the sex, the romance, the suspense...it was all on point. So many things that happen in this story are awesome and Mary Calmes just delivered on every promise of greatness made. This series just keeps getting better!

So what do you need to know? The story is once again told entirely from Miro's POV. There are cameos aplenty...some of which will probably shock you (in the best way), a ton of suspense, some humor, and even some

First off, let me say I have a deep fondness for Mary. A very deep personal attachment that spills out into the real world in so many ways.

Most of those ways are coffee and food but it is a special love.

That being said, let’s talk Miro and Ian.

More specifically, Miro and Ian in this book.

I think what I love the most about this series as a whole is the exploration of their relationship along with the larger story arc of what the hell is going on with Miro’s life. These are key components to buil

Just like the previous two books in this series, this one gets 5 "well deserved" stars from me !!

I loved every single page and I can't wait for the next book to get here...I hope it will be soon.

Miro and Ian are one of my all time favorite couples, next to Jory and Kage, Sloane and Dex and ofcourse Ty and Zane.

I don't want to spoiler anything, so I'm gonna lay off the storyline and just tell you how and what this book made me feel.....which was EVERYTHING !!

It was fun, cute, an

ALL THE STARS!

Reading a book by Mary Calmes is like being the passenger in a car being driven by Mario Andretti. The only thing you can do is hold on, enjoy the ride and hope you don’t end up in traction by the end.

But, man! What a ride it is!

It’s been a year since all the shit in book two went down and Miro is on loan to the DEA in San Francisco while Ian is on deployment. So, of course Miro is up to his eyeballs in the shit again. The man just can’t seem to keep himself out of trouble. I’m goi

Original review.

While this is another fabulous crazy OTT book I hated that Miro and Ian again spent so much of it apart.

I’ve said before this works better for me when they’ve together and so I struggled with huge chunks of this.

That said the rest is more of what we’ve come to love and I do love these guys. And it’s funny and I do love humour in my books.

It’s straight onto the next book Together Tied while I wait for Twisted and Tied to be released.

~4.5 stars!~

There are few words I can use to describe the ride that this book was. I don't want to spoil it for anyone, so I'll be as vague as possible.

This was an awesome addition to the series! Fans of Ian and Miro will in NO WAY be disappointed. You will likely fangirl or fanboy all over this story.

As far as plotlines, it very much stays in line with what you've come to expect from this series. It's scatterbrained and OTT and just fun as all hell. The side characters' interactions with Miro a

Hot Damn! That was awesome!

Miro and Ian are seriously one of my favorite couples of all time. Love them.

I can count on probably one hand the number of "established" couples I am willing to read about, and Miro and Ian are one of them.

I really wish I had gone back and read book 1 and 2 again before starting this one. It took me a minute to get back in to the groove. To remember who is who and what is what.

This one was super fast paced. Really exciting the last 15-20%.

**2/16/18 UPDATE - I had to stop listening because the narrator was HORRIBLE!! He was actually ruining the book for me and I will not allow that. So I guess I'll just have to go at it the old fashioned way and reread with my eyes instead of my ears to get ready for the fourth book. But, lesson learned, I will never purchase an audiobook with this narrator EVER AGAIN!

**2/12/18 UPDATE - Since Twisted and Tied comes out next month, I'm refreshing my memory of where we've left off with Miro and Ian

5 Fabulous Stars!!

Am I biased when it comes to these two? Hell yes.

Fans won’t be disappointed with this new installment, as it’s full of action, drama and ridiculous scenarios only these two could find themselves in. Like in any good series, the supporting cast over time has definitely lent to the complexity, fun factor, and overall enjoyment.

What always remains though, is how much Miro and Ian love each other. They might not agree on everything, they might not like the same things, but when it

There, I've said it.

This book did not work for me on so many levels, but since not one of my friends gave it less than four stars, it is safe to say that this is totally on me and...

I love Miro and Ian. Always have, always will. But I especially love them together and for almost half of the book they were apart, so not even these two could save this book for me. The rest of the story was an endless blah-blah-blah with way too much pagefi

You know how sometimes when you want something really, really badly and you have to wait a really long time for it, and you keep getting assured it's "coming soon", but you really want it now and then you get it and you're disappointed with the final product?

Yeah, you don't have to worry - the wait was worth it because Tristan James once again rocks this out!

4.5 stars rounded up to 5 because still no 1/2 stars here on GR and it's not everyday that a book makes me this happy.

Ok, so I needed to wait a while to write this review because...

I was honestly too busy bouncing in my chair with excitement over this book. Seriously, from practically the first page all hubby heard my muttering was "Ohmygod!!! Ohmygod!!! I may die of happiness. Seriously if you can die of happiness I'm going to do this right now." and on and on it went. I think he's come to th

The weirdest thing happened to me with this book. When I first read it I was somewhat disappointed. I think my expectations were just crazy weird at that moment. But now that I've listened to all 3 audiobooks in a row I can honestly say that I loved this one just as much as the first two! So I'm totally adding a star and adding it to my favorites shelf.

This one was probably my least favorite so far. Honestly, I'm tired of Miro and Ian being separated. I hope that in future installments, they will spend the majority of the book together.

I didn't see the crazy person coming so I was a bit shocked there. And seriously???? Craig Hartley escapes AGAIN??? I really hope the feds and all aren't that incompetent in real life. Poor Miro. He needs his nightmare gone for good.

These two continue to be a favorite couple of mine, I just wish they were actu

I'm a huge Calmes fan. I have been waiting for a new book while binge reading all her other series. And I have to admit I'm stumped about this one. Too much was going on. Too many characters and not enough setup for them. I could keep up with Anna Karenina but this one had me swiping back a coupla pages to figure out who's who.

Also, that whole Jory-ness where the narrator is loved by everyone... it was charming when it was Jory, Jin and even Weber but it's getting old. I don't know. And Ian's i

Tied Up in Knots is the 3rd book in the Marshalls series. Miro and Ian are one of my favorite couples and I absolutely adore that they are both bad ass U.S. Marshalls, but yet wear their heart on their sleeve.

I loved Ian with everything I had, but I also feared him dicing my heart up into little pieces at the same time

With Ian on deployment, Miro is trying to live his life, but he is having a hard time and struggling. When Ian finally returns, they are both on edge. Unfortunately, b

SQUEEEEEEEEE!!!!!

Sorry…but I loved this book! Loved it in a way that I felt like every Mary Calmes fan and especially fans of her Marshals series as my own personal book club and I wanted to high five them all saying “Sogood, RIGHT?!”

Ya know…as good as the author is at writing some sweet lovin’ and I-love-them-so-much-together couples, she also knows how to write some sick-ass sh*t. No joke. And not in that kinky way. In that psychotic bad guy way. And Dr. Craig Hartley, whether he’s on page or

This series is over the top ridiculous in SO many ways, but I love it anyway. My only real issue with this installment was So. Many. People. FBI agents, DEA agents, Army Rangers, Marshals, friends, police detectives. I just couldn't keep them all straight, especially knowing that lots of them were from other series and books, some not even by this author! But I just ignored all of that, and went along for the ride, and it was quite the ride, indeed. Ian and Miro love each other SO much, but they

First time I read this, it was kinda a bust. But now... I didn't mind it. This is a good thing. I mean, the problems I had with the book is still there, it's just no longer on such a high level that it destroyed the book. So it was a better read this time around, though far from good. Overall, I'm kinda looking forward to finishing this series.

Mary Calmes is my go-to authors for passionate, rewarding romances with very little difficulty or angst and a guaranteed happily ever after. Her characters tend to be similar and her relationships are always deeply romantic and just a bit desperate, but the growly alphas and heroes everyone seems to love somehow work better for her than for anyone else.

Like the two previous books, Tied Up in Knots is told solely from Miro’s point of view. This is very typical for Mary Calmes and it works best fo

And that's a wrap...

'Tied Up In Knots' is the third book in Mary Calmes 'Marshals' series and just like the first two it was 'Mary Calmes + Tristan James + one of Karen's favorite series = all the love. I'm really not feeling like I need say much more and truthfully I hate to take away from my reading time because I need to get ahead of things so that I can re-listen to this series because...Tristan James doing Ian & Miro is total joy for me.

I listened to the awesome narration of this book by Tristan James.

This one had so much gut twisting emotion! The relationship was so rocky that I didn't know what was going to happen to these two. But it was perfect. The ending? *swoon* I'd be willing to take that as the ending to the series. It can't get any better than that.

Loved this book. Just...loved it!

TIED UP IN KNOTS is the third book in the Marshals series and it’s probably the most unique one yet. Again, we’re plunged straight into the action with Ian and Miro, one of my favorite M/M couples. But what’s cool about this book is that if you’re a fan of Rhys Ford’s Sinners series, you can recognize a couple of characters in this book. How fun is it that St. John and Morgan are in this book as well? Don’t worry if you haven’t read Ford or anything, you’ll still be able to enjoy this book, bu

Mary Calmes believes in romance, happily ever afters, and the faith it takes for her characters to get there.
