New to town, werewolf Dark can’t believe there’s a restaurant called The Vegan Werewolf. Even harder to swallow is the fact that the place smells amazing. The food, however, is easy to get down – it’s some of the best he’s ever had and that’s saying a lot as it’s, unbelievably, vegan. What’s also not hard to swallow is Erik, the swee

I have to admit, that the title made me read the book.

Erik is a vegan werewolf and the friendly chef and owner of the very successful restaurant “The vegan werewolf”.

When Dark - a proud Alpha werewolf and of course a carnivore- arrives at the small town, he cannot believe his eyes when he sees the name of the restaurant.
And he cannot understand at all Erik.

How can a werewolf be vegan? Why a werewolf does not want to be a werewolf?
Apparently Eric decided to become vegan when he killed a littl
Going into a Sean Michael book, if you've read one before, then you know you're going to get the Growl-Mine-Fuck mantra going. So I'm on board with all the possessive grabby declarations and non-stop fornication; actually, I kind of expect it.

Loved the title. Tickled by the concept of a vegan werewolf which while entertaining wasn't fully realized, imo. A couple fails with the veganism that made me think someone doesn't understand the difference between vegetarian and vegan, but then the almond

A vegan werewolf. Yep, you read that right. I was about as incredulous as Dark, the werewolf part of the couple in this book, when I first read it. It's the name of a restaurant in the town Dark has just moved into, and it emits the best smells Dark has ever scented. So, even though he believes he will hate the food, he gives it a try. The owner of the place, Erik, is very proud of his food, but he has a secret. One he has been hiding from himself, and when Dark uncovers it, Erik is very uncomfo ...more

4.5 Stars.

Short, hot, funny and full on Sean Michael.

I loved the novella.

On a personal note: As a Sean Michael fan, I've read enough about steaks in his books to assume he has enjoyed his share. But as someone who switched to a plant based life over three years ago for the health of it, I've been hoping my favorite authors would do the same. A little selfish of me but I want them healthy and around for a long time to keep me entertained with stories!

I did have a bit of a struggle with rating this one because at times I didn’t particularly like Dark (to paraphrase Erik, who gets named Dark?). There were times he did not take no for an answer and that made me like him even less.

Despite my reservations about Dark, the whole idea of a vegan werewolf, well, that just drew me in. I liked Erik a lot. And his reason for being vegan, even better. “I killed thins. Animals. I woke up and had a rabbit. A little bunny

3.5 stars. Quick read. Short and light but hot and entertaining. A nice diversion.

Another author who used veganism as a plot point yet doesn’t seem to really understand it :( Disappointed in that.

The whole thing often felt like a skim-over, not a real story. No depth really.

This was a short, sexy read about a vegan werewolf and I enjoyed it.

Dark has only just wandered into town and is testing out all the new sights, scents and scenes. Following his nose, he ends up in front of a small restaurant with the most amazing smells emanating from it. He’s floored by the name – The Vegan Werewolf – but despite his deep skepticism he enters anyway. Anything smelling that good can’t be too bad – even if he knows he hates vegan food. Dark will soon find it’s more than the food here that his mouth waters for.

I absolutely, positively adored this

3.5 stars. Dark, a carnivore through and through, plus Erik, a vegan chef. Not much should come of that, right? But, what we get, is great sex and rough mating. That’s about the whole plot.

The characters are done well in terms of accentuating their most defining personality traits. Dark eats meet and is as wild as they come; Erik is a vegan, and suppressed a lot of his true self. Their interaction is hot as Dark is determined to seduce Erik. There’s a lot of sex here, which works for an erotic q
SOO SOO SOO GOOOD!!!!! LOVED LOVED IT! ! I swear this book was not only unique but well written. The fact that the character chef Erik was struggling with his werewolf identity as opposed to his Gay identity was so refreshing.
And the author didn't get caught up on werewolf background and history etc. It just WAS and it just WORKED!
The usual excellent HOT Sean Micheals shifter story. My only two complaints are that we never learn why Erik made the choices he did and that there is absolutely no lube use at all (very unrealistic and painful). A perfect guilty pleasure.

You know when you see the title that this book is going to be fun and it delivers. Erik is in all kinds of closets and Dark is just as determined to drag him up and make him love it. I love seeing even Dark being surprised by his feelings and his dedication to make things best for both of them.

This is a typical Sean Michael story, and because I know what to expect before I read any of his books I don't get frustrated or disappointed, I go with the ride and I enjoyed.
Plenty nice sex scenes as always, and hardly any plot but, still cute.
Short cute story about a vegan werewolf finding the carnivore of his dreams.
