I learned so much reading this book! I like both tequila and mezcal but knew very little about their production, the varieties of agave that each are produced from, and the regional producers and styles. A wonderful book for those interested in the history and intricacies of alcohol production.

Fantastic book reference about the Mezcal. From A to Z. The book contains very interesting about this legendary drink. It goes from the origin of this drink to an excellent collection of recipes with the instructions.

I received an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review.

A fascinating look at the varieties and production of mezcal and tequila. Undoubtedly one of the best books I have read on these delicious products of Mexico. Recommended.

Loved the style of this book, the author goes into all of the fun parts of Mezcal in enough detail to satisfy the urge to know more and feel like you’ve a rounded understanding of the drink. There might not be enough detail to satisfy the true Mezcal aficionados, but the joy of the book lies in the story and the author’s passion not just the bare facts.

Mezcal is a fine drink and a book about it should not depend on putting down tequila as this one does.
