We meet Charlotte in One week to the wedding and you wonder what her story is. We know that she was treated like dirt by her daughter’s father and that he is a total skeez...but who is Charlotte really?

This book in the series gives us Charlotte. We see her insecurities and fears. How she doesn’t feel she is doing things right but knows that her love for her daughter and giving her a place where she feels loved and safe is all that matters. Charlotte is out to show to her sister and everyone she

I liked Kate in the first book, and I rooted for her and Alec to resolve their differences. However, I am not a fan of love triangles involving siblings, regardless of the twist an author gives the triangle. That is a personal response, and I know many readers seek out these books. But for me, Charlotte started with one strike against her. She does earn sympathy points for her remorse and for her difficulties as a single mother, but these are undercut by the fact that she seems so immature. If ...more

After reading the first book in this series, One Week To The Wedding, I knew that Charlotte's story was going to be an emotional one.

And Olivia Miles did not disappoint.

Putting your life back together, earning back the trust of family and friends, moving on with life is never easy, and even harder when you want to do it on your own, without asking for help.

I adore Charlotte, even through all her stubbornness. I want to give her a big hug (but also

I fell in love with Olivia Miles writing with the release of One Week To The Wedding and am thrilled to finally have the follow-up. The Winter Wedding plan is the story about the reconciliation of the deeply divided Daniels sisters', Kate and Charlotte.

Charlotte certainly has much to make up for and this story focuses on her life as she works on reconciling with Kate and making a home for herself and her daughter Audrey. She's had a hard time as a young mother and the situation that created tha

If you’ve read One Week to the Wedding then that’s where you first met Charlotte. Charlotte is the sister of Kate, the main character of the first book and the one we felt all the sympathy for. I’m not gonna lie, I truly disliked Charlotte and the betrayal she set on Kate. I could never imagine doing that to my sister. My feelings definitely changed towards the end of the book. Then I found out Charlotte was getting her own book. So of course, I had to read it!
After the last year pulled a toll

I really enjoyed this pair of books and I'm really hoping for a third and fourth book with Bree and Colleen's stories down the road! Both stories were fairly predictable, but also absolutely enjoyable! I'd never read Olivia Miles before and I'm definitely looking forward to reading others of her series!

Something about this felt "real." It's a romance about a woman finding a nice guy, and that aspect is handled well. As someone who has found the right guy, I connected to some of the ideas in the book - that the right guy wants to see you:
Interested men don't need a nudge,
Bree.
That being said, it was awfully...vanilla. I also didn't feel like I really knew the MMC, even though there was exposition and background given to build his character. That was an odd sensation, because I'd find myself

After reading the first in her series, One Week to the Wedding, it was a no brainer that I had to check this out too because Miles is a fun author to read.

Miles wraps her plot around Charlotte who is this wonderful character you want to root for as she is bound and determined to be a better person and mom. She has this plan to turn things around by being more organized and successful so her daughter can have a happier life. Now she has a chance to improve her relationship with her sister as they

***I received an ARC from author for my honest review***

The Winter Wedding Plan by Olivia Miles is the second book in the Misty Point Series. It can be read as a standalone, but I recommend reading the first book for a better understanding of the story.

Charlotte Daniels is trying to put her life back together. She needs to earn her sister Kate's trust again. Charlotte is not known for making the best decisions in her life and being a single mom is hard. She is determined to show her family that

Some time ago I won this book as a Goodreads giveaway. It finally made it to the top of a pile, so I'm reading it.

Ok, so I was trying to actually read a book without feeling compelled to comment on it here. Unfortunately, I managed 5 chapters only. Here's why.

I have zero compassion for Charlotte. She's made her bed by making one bad decision after another. Sleeping with your sister's fiancee is not an oops moment. Lying to your family about financials when you're literally on the way to becoming

The Winter Wedding Plan is the 2nd book in the Misty Point series by Olivia Miles and I was given an advanced copy of this book by the publisher in exchange for an honest review. What a treat for any romance/women's fiction reader! Every time I read one of Olivia Miles' books I call it my new favorite because it truly is! Every single book that she writes stays with me long after I close the book. This story is one of redemption and hope and the possibility of love when you least expect it. This ...more

THE WINTER WEDDING PLAN
Book 2---Misty Point; An Unforgettable story of love, betrayal, and sisterhood...

Sweet, charming, moving, and laughed out loud.

Charlotte Daniels is back home with her baby Audrey. Trying to make up for what she did to her sister Kate. She wants a second chance. So far she's getting it. If Kate finds out what's happening with the Frost account a huge account they just got. Well she got it, but something had to give. Not sure she made the right decision. At the time it was

Winter Wedding was my first read by Miles. While I absolutely enjoyed the story, I did feel a little lost at first. I felt like I was showing up late to the party Charlotte's back story while it was easy to piece together I think reading book one, One Week To The Wedding, would have helped. Not knowing her complete back story did not impact my feelings about the book, however, I do think it would have helped the initial confusion.

I received this book in advance to give my opinion and a review upon finishing this book. After reading 'One Week to the Wedding,' I knew this book would pick right up where that one left off. To be honest it had me hooked from the first page. The author, Olivia Miles, had me feeling exactly what the characters were feeling. Whether it was Charlotte trying to make ends meet, or trying to continue working on the relationship with her sister, I was able to picture exactly what was going on. The st ...more

Putting your life back together is a hard thing to do. It is even harder when you unnecessarily refuse to ask for help. Such is the case with Charlotte Daniels in the Winter Wedding Plan by Olivia Miles. Convinced she has to do it all herself, Charlotte doesn’t realize that by shutting people out, she is holding on to the past instead of moving forward. Exactly the opposite of what she thinks she’s doing. I enjoyed reading this novel, but at the same time I never completely warmed up to Charlott

I enjoyed this book, however I think it would probably have been better if I had read book one in this series first. I didn’t quite understand what had happened between Kate and Charlotte. Charlotte is working at her sisters event planning business. Charlotte has a lot going on right now, she is the single mother to a seven month old girl. She is very close to getting evicted from her apartment, she is two months behind on rent. She gets a job planning a holiday party for the owner of a greeting ...more

When you hit rock bottom, there's no place to go but up. Charlotte is quickly learning that it's much easier to screw up your life, but not as easy to rebuild it. Learning to be mature has never been her strong suit, but she's willing to try for the sake of her daughter and the love of her sister. For a chance at redemption she's willing to risk everything. Including her heart. Ms. Miles introduced Charlotte in One Week to the Wedding. The woman with a chip on her shoulder and a lot of hurt in h ...more

This is Book #2 in the Misty Point series.  I could not wait to read about Charlotte's story.  I wanted to see if the relationship between Charlotte and Kate could improve.  I also wanted to see her overcome everything and be happy.  I will not tell you if they all happened because you really should read this book.  Very well written with real characters!!  I hope there is third book about their friend and local florist.

Did no realize it was part of a series when
I picked it up from the library, you definitely
need to read the first book in the series to get
the gist of the story between Kate, Charlotte,
and Jake. I will say though, that I dislike it when
authors write from a different point of view
because she is giving that character her own story.
It makes me frustrated because they take away
from the main storyline and it leaves you wanting
more.

5 BEAUTIFUL STARS!! Wow, each book I read by this fabulous author keeps getting better. This story has all the feels and keeps you turning pages. Olivia Miles creates the best characters and writes the perfect book, beautifully. I highly recommend this book and series. I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.

Another great book from this author. I really enjoyed this one and the emotional ups and downs that you go through while reading this one. There is a lot of drama, but in my opinion it's needed to get us to where the author is trying to take us. This was one of the best books I've read all year. I can't wait for more.

I loved ONE WEEK TO THE WEDDING, Olivia Miles’s first book in her Misty Point series and eagerly awaited her latest, WINTER WEDDING PLAN. What a fun read! Yes, there is the angst and sad story you find in women’s fiction, but Charlotte doesn’t see it that way. She’s a poster woman for how you can turn your life around and make not just your life, but the lives of those around you better too. She is determined and watching her find the depths of her own personality is really a wonderful process t ...more

The winter wedding plan was beautiful and heartwarming. It highlights how deep forgiveness and love within a family goes. It was a fantastic second chance story, both romantic and familial.
