Blown...
B. Love is a phenomenal writer and I have always enjoyed her titles but this one was a disappointment! The storyline sucks you end only and just as I was really digging the characters, BOOM...the end!! Throughly disappointing, I guess this was a short story with the rest of the book being a push for Gangland 2.

Beyond Great
Everything about this book was EXCELLENT. From the beginning to the end it was a page turner and I LOVED it. Hunter Hendrix was such a man of God that it was amazing to read about. I loved Onyx and the realness she had about herself. B. Love did an awesome job with this book and if I had a choice this would have received a 10 star. Phenomenal read!!!

This story completely captivated me from the beginning. Hunter practically owned Onyx's heart and vice versa from the jump. I liked how assertive and cocky he was. It's something about B. Love's men that she creates that make you love those particular traits. IJS. I love how he didn't judge Onyx. Although she certainly judged him, which I can understand. She had been hurt not only by her grandfather, but by the church. Church hurt is the worst hurt so I get it. I love how he proved her wrong just by letting his lifestyle speak for him and by letting her in on what his life had been like before hr got saved. Yeah, this novella touched me in ways you couldn't possibly know, B. Thank you for penning such a great story!

Unconditional Love
Author B. Love must have a magical pen that makes me fall in love with her characters. Such is the case with Hunter and Onyx.
I just wanted to wrap Onyx in hugs and love. She just grabbed my heart!
Church hurt is real and happening daily!
Hunter Hendrix…Chile! Hunter was imperfectly perfect! Full of God’s amazing grace and love. Why this world is not filled with men like him is beyond me.

Loved it!
I'm falling in love with B. Love!! I had just finished reading and loving Weak, by her, and instantly wanted to read something else by her. I found Hunter and Onyx. Loved them. They were loving, spiritual and sexy! Although I like more heat in the books I read, I fell in love with this one! She not only touched my spiritual side but my understanding of God's unconditional love. Great book!

Unconditional Love, yeah THAT'S what we need.
Refreshing, best way I can describe this story. Would have liked to have had more on these two though. How many babies DID Onyx give him? LOL. Or to see the progress forgiveness has had for both her AND her family. I am grateful for what I did get. As always, Thank You B. Love.

Loved it!
I'm not a fan of some of the urban love/fiction but Hunter and Onyx had just the right touch of hood mixed in with God's unconditional love. Let me tell you, I'm sure glad I picked up this book. I need a sequel to this book. More Hunter and Onyx. This is a book that is a must read.

Good read
Lots of truth in this book. Lots of figuring out how to love and be loved unconditionally. Lots of God's love shining through one man to a woman. Short stories don't give a lot of leeway to situation and character development though. As a result, some of the book felt rushed. Still a good read though.

B Love you have again out done yourself🌷, I truly loved this book . This is unconditional LOVE at its best. Hunter is a stand up kind of man that every women wants.. So true to his self. Amazing!
B. Love does it again! I don’t know how she manages to keep writing such innovative and thought provoking stories but she does. This modern day twist on a biblical love story was amazing! I love the unconditional love Hunter had for Onyx. His love allowed her to learn to love herself unconditionally. Great story!

Onyx and Hunter
I liked this one. It was a good story about a man who was wholesome and sweet and the rollercoaster of a female he wanted to be with. He was definitely a good balance for Onyx though. He made her think about the right changes for her life. I liked that it took a spiritual approach also. I think that I have found a new author ya’ll. Definitely worth the read.

Unconventional story
This was a different love story. It was very unconventional starting with the way Hunter and Onyx met. The story started off slow for me and I felt like I was missing something.

What a perfect match
Each time I read something by B Love, I walk away with a lesson. I walk away having learned something. That, to me, is the reason why I read. That part about a man, not just any man, but a man of God having a wife? That really had me thinking. Awesome

Absolutely loved this story! Every time I think I have a fave couple, I read about another whose story is just as touching...Hunter & Onyx. Loved the biblical connection, great visuals of characters. This was a pleasurable read, fabulous standalone

This is the third book I've read from this author I enjoy her style of story telling

This was different for me. I chose to read this because it was a standalone and by B.love and I love all her books so I knew this would be no different. It’s short but good as expected.

Not into the Christian urban books or whatever so this one was pretty boring to me but it didn’t get too messy with killing, drug dealing then in the same breath preachy. This will be my last from this author though.

My rating is for the 10% I read. Ummm...I love this author. She is different and tells good stories. The H just lost me in the first bits of his dialogue with her...I can't with these rude people trying to masquerade as Alpha men.

Hunter gives me life. Yesssss! Handle her how you see fit sir. Bring her back to the fold . I loved his understanding mindset. And I liked how she tired to act like she wasn't really feeling him. Cute little cat and mouse until.....

This meet cute was a very unique one but an awesome one at the same time. As most of us know God is the beginning and end to all things; Hunter and Onyx displayed this throughout the story unconditionally and in a nontraditional way. There unique love and chemistry was very magnetic that even though this story is fictional I felt that pull to crave the same unconventional love. Great Job! I want more. Renee G
