The Wild Things #2

Mastering The Art Of A Three Ring Circus

Rate this book
Perhaps some promises should be broken….

Theophile
The price of freedom was as simple as a promise. Fifteen more years in jail, or a marriage. I agreed and didn’t look back, until the circus came to town.

Wolfgang
Leaving England behind for a small town in Wisconsin meant two more years of freedom for my family, which is my everything. Then I met Theophile, an irresistibly intriguing woman whose heart I will claim, regardless of the fact that she made a promise to one of the greediest and wealthiest men on earth: my father, King Valentine.

A deeply moving—and gripping—modern-day fairytale about a spirited woman whose scruples are tested when her life is turned upside down by a larger-than-life candy heir and his eccentric circus family. A gut-wrenching, sweet, and magical read filled with humor, tragedy, and a cast of endearing characters that will steal your heart.

#2 in the Wild Things series (stand alone)

It's LIVE & on Blog Tour! (giveaway included)

This was my first jaunt into the wonderful world of A. Wilding Wells and what a fantastical journey it was!! MASTERING THE ART OF A THREE RING CIRCUS had incredible world building, the plot was easy to follow, the characters were bizarrely beautiful (yes, even Duchess), and the love found between its pages was utterly life-altering!

Theophile was one tough cookie. The horrors that she faced as a child were heartbreaking. No child should ever have to suffer the atrocities that she did. But she not only survived, she thrived. She made a life for herself and lived it on her terms, even if it was on borrowed time. She was moral and just with a huge heart and a strong code of ethics. She believed that promises were made to be kept. One was only as good as their word. And she had been waiting her whole life to be loved. How sweet that the love she finally found with Wolfgang was unlike any other? Who other than Theophile was worthy of the wondrous love only Wolfgang could give?

Wolfgang was a tortured and magnificent soul. He was seductive and confident (borderline cocky at times), but had so many amazing moments of vulnerability and humility. This man had so much heart and had absolutely no problem EVER showing it. He gave it to EVERYONE and this was one of his most admirable traits. Seeing the world through his eyes was both breathtaking and overwhelming. He saw such light and beauty although he had lived and survived immense darkness. The way he looked at, really saw, and felt for Theophile was awesome. Any woman, including myself, would give anything in the world for that and be forever grateful. It was extremely easy to fall in love with Wolfgang and to hope and pray that all of his wishes came true.

My three wishes:
1. That everyone buys a copy of this book!
2. That the author continues to write inspiring and delightful tales just like this one!
3. That everyone experiences the love as described in this book!

I'm going to start this review with a direct message to any one of my BookSisters who have not yet read any work of art from the story-telling, magic-weaving, spirit-lifting, soul-feeding, word-Goddess that is AWildingWells : WTF are you doing???!!! You are robbing your hearts, minds, souls & spirits of the countless rewards that come from immersing yourselves between the pages of the rich tapestries that are very much alive within her books. Seriously!! Robbing yourselves!

Now, The Art of Mastering a Three Ring Circus instantly captured me in its magnificence & I could not have cared if the real world around me required me urgently - I was in small town Wisconsin, looking into a groundskeepers treehouse that sat across from a castle & I was staying there until the very last word.

Theophile & Wolfgang are just exceptional - real, complex, emotional, multidimensional human beings, who in getting to know them, hold mirrors up to traits & behaviours you may recognise in yourself, in loved ones or people you know. Beautifully broken & perfectly imperfect.

The full range of emotion that bleeds from the pages, along with the purity of the love from the very beating of Wolfgang's heart is breathtaking.

The story is without a doubt quirky, whimsical, fantastical & will captivate your mind in a way that will allow you to escape. However, it may also perhaps make you rethink your approach to or view of situations in your life that need addressing - after all, why not take the advice of a billionaire candy man with a heart of pure gold?
(Three wishes... and... Go!)

I loved every word, every twist & discovery keeping me transfixed to the unfolding events in the lives of Peaches, Wolf, Bubbles, Duchess, Queenie, Rain and Co. (I also loved having snippets of time again with Matilda & Balthazar - yay!)

This book is an exceptional read & I know these larger-than-life characters are staying with me for a very, very long time.

I loved this book & AWildingWells more than cake & more than bubblegum.

*I was provided an ARC of this book, with no expectation on the part of the author that she would receive a positive review in exchange. My review reflects my genuine opinion of this book.*

"I've lived a thousand fantasies about you in the blink of an eye. Sometimes, when I'm near you, I say nothing, and in the quiet, I feel you. You fill every bit of silence."

Mastering The Art Of A Three Ring Circus is my new favorite book by A. Wilding Wells. I love how she comes up with the most fun and crazy books filled with amazing and unique characters. It is like I am on a fun rollercoaster every time I read a book by this author. I never have an idea what to expect or what kind of characters I'll read about, but I always have faith that A. Wilding Wells will deliver an awesome story. That was definitely the case for this book. The blurb had me excited to get my hands on the book. I was hypnotized from the start until the end. I fell in love with the quirky and crazy characters, who were so protective towards each other.

"You are so uniquely you. You are big in the most beautiful ways I've ever known anyone to be. And not just to me. You love and give generously with everything you are, and it makes me crazy for you."

Wolfgang, what a man! He was so sexy and such a dirty talker. I just couldn't get enough of him. He was very confident, without a filter and did not hold back any punches. When he saw something or someone he wanted he wanted after until he got a hold of it or them. There was insta-lust between Theophile and him, they were on fire together! Theophile was unable to resist Wolf (can you blame her?). The secondary characters were awesome as well. I especially loved Duchess and Queenie, they were so much fun. Everything fit perfectly together and next to all the fun and sexy times, the author was able to make me shed a couple of tears as well. There were secrets that were revealed, that I didn't see coming. Great job by the author to add that into the story. I had some difficulties getting into the story because of all the crazy names in the beginning, I had to really concentrate to keep them apart. But after that it was smooth sailing and I love the authors writing style. Pick this book up if you love unique stories with quirky characters.

"Swaypole * A high, flexible, vertical pole atop of which an acrobat performs various balancing tricks"
( may I just say that at the beginning of each chapter we get a new word and description and this so much fun and I absolutely love it!)

Ok first Arc was provided for an honest review and I absolutely love this book it is fun and quirky and so extravagant.. there so many moments I had to put my tablet down because I was laughing so hard I couldn't catch my breathe... A Wilding Wells is a breathe of fresh air she creates this magical world where I just want to live forever because come on who doesn't want that kind of crazy... Honestly her books are so out of the norm of what we usually get but also so full of things no person/ author talks about real life tragic things that happen that shape a person that are so horrific people just don't want to talk about but she does it so well and hot oh my can I please have the man she created in this book for my self because that mouth holy hell *sigh* ( yup I'm majorly crushing)..:anyhow back to The Three Ring Circus ... Honestly it may take a moment to get used to the style of writing because yes it is different then most books I usually read however different in this case is far from bad ( it is so freaking wonderful like unicorn and crazy circus fun )

We have Wolfgang aka Wolf who may or may not be on the run with his Circus of a family including Queenie his elephant

Lemme just start off by saying I loved this story more than cake! This has been such a beautifully written story filled with love, trust and laughter. Three wishes ready, set, go, 1. Can I have a Queenie & Rain of my own please? 2. Wolfgang needs to be real because swoon and 3. I want to live with Bubble, Theophile, Dutchess & Wolf. I loved that even though this is a standalone we get to have Balthazar, Matilda & the boys in the story too. My heart broke hearing what Theophile was put through as a child but the woman she's become is absolutely stunning. As we get further into the story there are some sexy as all hell scenes and man oh man the Candy Man can that's without a doubt. Loved loved loved, didn't want it to end. This is my voluntary and unbiased review.

*4 I love you more than cake stars!!!*

*ARC generously provided by author*

I've said it once and I'll say it again... I love every single word A Wilding Wells writes!!!

Mastering The Art Of A Three Ring Circus was so cute..sweet..silly and so whimsical. When picturing this book in my head all I could see was beautiful bright colors... I saw pinks, blue, yellow and every shade of purple that's how wonderful this story was.

As always in her books her main male character is a little crazy but a whole lot of sexy and has more love to give than they know what to do with. Wolfgang Valentine not only takes the cake he takes the whole damn bakery...this man is beyond larger than life and when he meets Theophile he knows instantly that he has to have this women even though she promised to marry his brother in exchange for getting out of a 15 yr sentence for being accused of killing her mother.

Wolfgang is like Willy Wonka..Wizard Of Oz..The Great Gatsby all rolled into one sexy gorgeous man. The visuals of Wolfgang Wilding Wells provides are insane..one minute he's naked bathing his pet elephant the next he's also naked lol wearing a top hat and studded leather gloves...geeezus or he's playing with a pet tiger lol

I really enjoyed this book even though at some points I felt like the story was rushed and a bit all over the place but I'm telling you Wolfgang Valentine made this book everything and more.

All the cake in the world, all the penny gumballs on the planet don't even come close.

Just when I thought, CERTAINLY I couldn't possibly love this author anymore then I already do, just when I thought there wasn't any spots left in my heart that her words and characters hadn't already invaded... she goes and creates this world so beautiful, so full of magic and wonder, I just want to live here forever and ever and ever!

The amount of love on these pages, its astounding. There is this subtle mysterious feel all through out the book, this undertone of suspense where you are falling so helplessly in love with every single character in the book, all the while wondering, waiting to see what is coming next. I LOVE THAT.

I can think of less then a handful of books, where I felt not only the characters come to life in my heart but the side characters, the town, the pets, the house, the chemistry and emotion, just all of it you know?! Coursing through my veins, pumping in my heart... I felt it other places too but I'll keep that to myself. ;)

I love being a blogger, hoping that every once in a while I'll review a book and someone else will feel inspired to pick it up and take the journey with me. But this isn't one of those times... this time I'm telling you, begging you, advising you, pleading with you from the bottom of my little blogging heart READ THIS BOOK!!! Do it! First chance you get! One Click and get lost in this beautiful magical world.

THEOPHILE & WOLFGANG my HEART & SOUL.

I received this ARC in return for my honest review. This novel is written in dual POV's and is Book 2 in the Wild Things standalone series.

THREE WISHES...Ready, Set, GO!!!

1. That A. Wilding Wells will ALWAYS continue to write such amazing, loving, raw, steamy, and emotionally inspiring novels!
2. That I will ALWAYS be able to read her novels and experience these many emotions, while also taking something amazing from them for my own personal gain!
3. That everyone in the world will experience a deep, powerful love as these characters have; a love that fills your heart, seeps into your bones, and completely consumes your soul. Whether it's with a significant other, a child (children), family member, or friend, I hope we can all say "I love you more than cake and bubblegum!" and never lose that love!

AWW has completely blown me away, yet again, with this eccentric, almost mystical, heart touching work of art—which is exactly what this novel is! The "circus" that was created has the most amazing people in it that are all beautifully scarred and imperfectly perfect!

Wolfgang– Be still, my beating heart! He is the most caring, beautiful soul ever, while also being super sexy, romantic, and dirty (in the best possible way, of course)!
Theophile– I absolutely love and admire her. Even after everything she's been through, she still manages to be the most loyal, honest, and loving person! Beautiful inside and out!
Bubble– extremely sheltered and a typical dramatic teenage girl, while having an extremely stubborn and wild side!
Duchess– the grandmother that suffers from dementia. Full of life and love, for her family and the circus! Adds humor to parts of the story for sure! Lol
The animals– loved these characters being such a sweet part of the family, especially Queenie!!

I hated that this story had to end; I would LOVE to be a part of this family's circus of a life! I could never say enough about AWW's beautiful talent and impeccable skills as an author!! Mastering The Art Of A Three Ring Circus is another MUST READ book by her, hands down!!!

Wow A. Wilding Wells has done it again gifting us with a funtastical whimsical one of a kind story that left you scratching your head thinking how the hell does she come up with this stories and wishing I could have a peek inside her mind. But in a way I'm thankful that we do, by reading her stories.

 photo 1485099812258_zpsayphmuwx.jpg

Let me tell you when I first started reading this I was a little scared I wasn't going to love Wolfgang because he went from 0 to 100 in an instant but I learn to love him because that how he was, a passionate MOFO. Theophile childhood was nothing short of batshit crazy and scary and yet she radiates nothing more than love. She made a promise a few years back a promise that gave her some sort of freedom but what do you do when you have to choose between following your heart or breaking a promise.

I laughed, I cry, I swoon with all this character including Bubble and Duchess.

This book keep me guessing and just when I thought I have the story figure it out another surprise turn took my theory away. So don't try to figure it out buy your tickets and be ready for when this circus comes to town and enjoy the performance.

Have to say LOVE seeing Matilda, Balthazar and the twins that made me so happy.

My Review:

A. Wilding Wells (My #Stingqueen) makes broken beautiful yet again, I honestly don't know how she does it, but she does I was wrapped up in elephants, tigers and quite a quirky circus of characters which was so refreshing and real.

Right from start to finish I lived and breathed Theophile and Wolfgang calling them intriguing is one of the many ways to describe these two destined soul-mates! More like utter perfection pretty much sums them up for me personally, even though they both are far from it!
The wildness and fire between these two is felt with every turn of the page you can't help but keep reading and never wanting to stop!

The supporting cast in this book as I like to call them spared no exception from bubbles all the way down to duchess with all their own personal quirks you can't help but love each and every single soul! Hands down make everyday an adventure! In all honestly, this book is a unicorn it'll have you believing in modern day magic and fairytales filled with broken princesses and dashing but extremely vulgar and naughty prince!

My Final Thoughts:

If I could snap my fingers and make any of A. Wilding Wells books a reality this would be it from start to finish you fall down the whimsical rabbit hole that is Wolfgang Valentine and don't ever want to find your way back out!

A. Wilding Wells did it again. 5 ★'s for this beautiful modern fairytale.

It was so easy to fall in love with Wolfgang Valentine and his entourage. And of course Theophile.

" "Your turn," she says. "Three wishes... Ready, set, go!" She snaps her fingers.
"Your eternal belief in my fathering skills. A soul mate. And for you to stop growing up." "
- Bubble and Wolfgang Valentine-

Life has a way to prepare you for certain situations and people that enter your world, so you are ready for them.

"There's nothing wrong with believing you can have something you never knew existed. There's nothing wrong with finding new answers to old questions, regardless of where they sit in your soul. " - Wolfgang V.

" Love you more than cake ... and bubble gum. "

Where do I even begin with this book?!? This book is the most crazy, twistiest, insane, high-flying book I ever read! This is my first read of 2017 and it sets the bar very high! Wolfgang-how I love thee! What is NOT to love about him?!? He's sexy and sweet (literally-he's a candy man)! And then we have Theophile-a girl who has secrets so deep and a love she finds that's also deep! I love a circus theme for a book, it's always enchanted me. And this book with every page was full of color and fun and sexiness! The ending made me dizzy with all the twists and turns and ups and down and jaw dropping moments! I was speechless and couldn't put this book down! A. Wilding Wells totally outdid herself in the most ringmistress way! I love this book more than cake and bubble gum!

*ARC PROVIDED BY AUTHOR FOR AN HONEST REVIEW*

A whirlwind. A masterpiece. A circus. Nothing less than perfect!

My need to touch her? Essential as air.

Theophile was different female character. She had no love growing up and meeting Wolfgang opened her eyes and her heart. I loved how she gave him the chance to own her once and for all.
She tried to fight him tooth and nail, but I am happy she failed. She gave herself the chance, she set herself free.
Theophile was strong and brave. I loved her character so much.

Press your heart to mine. Make me believe in magic and fire and innocence. Tell me the chaos in my mind and heart is real.

Wolfgang. Yup, thats me sighing and swooning while reading. This is man was so damn passionate, it blew me away.
He handled his crazy family like a pro. He was loving and devoted. He was so trusting and kind that I wanted to kill them all for him.
Wolf was a completly different character from what I am always used to. Reading about him was refreshing. I loved how he fought for Theophile. He didn't want to let her go and I loved that. His love was real.

“Why can millions of people have faith in something as invisible as God and my heart can’t have it in you? You’re in my arms and you make my insides mad. That’s all the proof I need.”

Bubble , Duchess and Queenie were nothing less than AWESOME!!! I enjoyed so much. They gave the book some great vibes. I felt like living in a circus with them. They were so carefree, I couldn't help but admire them all.

Matilda and Balthazar were missed so much!!!! I couldn't believe it when they reappeared in the book!

“Theophile, you taste like sweet and summer and woman. And, I hope to fucking hell, my future.”

A. Wilding Wells did it again. She proved time and time again that she still has more and more to give. I love her and her books. Her writing style is different. Her characters are weird. But she doesn't shy away , she embraces it and it turns out perfectly!

“A kiss is a small and lovely token, beautiful in every form. A mother kissing her baby’s toes, a father kissing his daughter’s nose, or a man kissing a woman’s mouth for the first time to see what magic she has in her. What her invitation and challenge is.”

You have to read about Theophile and Wolfgang. Don't miss out on them and you'll get the chance to master the art of a three ring circus.

If i could give it more than a 5 star rating i would. Okay this book is a standalone but if you want to which i highly recommend because its a damn good book also, but read How To Tame Beasts And Other Wild Things. You do see Matilda, Balthazar, and the twins in this book.

Okay now onto this amazing book. I won't be going into to detail about the book, at least not yet. When it gets closer to the book going live indefintely will change up my review.

A. Wilding Wells is an amazing author. Not only are her men these sexy womewhat cocky men that you fall in love with. And not just their romantic soft side but their angry assish side also. The covers she has for her books are amazing. You can't help but wonder if she designed them herself. I would buy souly on them. Yes I'm one of b those people that judge by the cover. The names she comes up with for her books are so unique and refreshing that i don't know what to expect from book to book.

Like this book we have Wolfgang he is a candy man, we have Queenie who is an elephant, we have Duchess who was a circus performer, Bubble who is Wolfgang's daughter, and finally we have Theophille who is a crazy mother survivor. One comment this book i love it because it has an Elephant. They just so happen to ve my favorite animal. Okay back on track. Wolfgang is a man who loves and he loves hard. He seems to always be searching for it. He freely gives it to Bubble and Duchess. I feel in love with quicker than any of her other men. I'm sorry Balthazar my sexy British Beast but he won me over quick. i think it was his filthy mouth. Bubble is just a young woman trying to show her father that she isn't such a little girl anymore. I wanted to strangle her sometimes and kick Wolfgang a lot but darn it if i didn't see my rebellious self in her. Duchess oh man she was a hoot. I think it was her dementia but she is bat shit crazy, i love her. Theophille now that is strong woman. To have overcome everything her mom ever did to her. Oh my goodness i don't know how A. Wilding Wells wrote those scenes. I cried, my mouth dropped open, i cringed, but most of all i loved Theophille's spirit. Her mother couldn't break her.
This book definetly had some twists and turns. Amazing loving moments and secrets that always come out. This book was named perfectly, Mastering The Art Of A Three Ring Circus and what a circus to be apart of.

I already love you more than cake!

This book sucked me in from the start. It's very refreshing and the writing and characters are very unique. Many time I thought to myself - what the heck am I reading and then OMG what is going to happen next. The main guy Wolfgang is dreamy. He treats his family and friends like gold and you can't help but love him. He spoils his daughter and several times in the book asks her to name 3 wishes! The characters are eclectic to say the least - think ponies with pink manes and circus outfits with elephants in the house! One of my favorite quotes from the book is from the main woman - Theophile. She is speaking of Wolf who likes her and she says "He's more than I need. He's like a buffet. I'm just looking for a sandwich." It has stuck with me. This was a refreshing cute read that ties up onto an HEA nicely and quickly with surprises at the end!

WOW!

Amazing book once again from this author! If you haven't read any of A. Wilding Wells' books yet, what the hell are you waiting for?! The imagination and story-telling magic of this author is amazing!

This is book 2 in the Wild Things series and it does not disappoint. Theophile and Wolfgang are 2 of my favorite characters ever. So complex and larger-than-life. Yes, as usual, her characters are little crazy and unusual, but that's what is so addictive and charming about her stories. Getting sucked into her candy-man circus world was so much fun! And I totally understand how it was insta-love for Wolfgang! Who wouldn't fall in love with a sexy, sweet, candy-making, eccentric billionaire with so much love to give.

I can't wait for book 3 in the series! I know it'll take me on another emotional wild ride!

I'd help him out at the circus any day :). Oh could I have my very own Queenie and Rain!?! This book is definitely worth 5 big circus top stars *****

All throughout this book i had Dorthy from the Wizard of Oz "Lions, Tigers and Bears, Oh My... Lions, Tigers and Bears, Oh My..." going through my head. It truly was a magical story that will have you believing in Unicorns but behind every fairy tale there is always Darkness with the Baddie lurking around...

That's what I love that about A. WildingWells reads, that she throws the weird and wonderful together and creates a masterpiece. Stepping out of the box to give us a read that HAS to be read otherwise you'll miss something important.

Don't get me wrong this is still a romance story in its colourful way, because that the thing with A.WildingWells boy can she write sexy scenes it's just her books aren't just romance and sexy, boy meets girl so on and so on.

"Steal me away and make me yours for a lifetime. Drag me off to your bedroom and let me be your candy buffet."

And that ladies will be what you'll all be saying at the end of this read just like Theophile thinks about Wolfgang. Now i've purposely not gone into lot's of detail about the story line and all the characters, for the simple fact where would i start and finish i literally would have to type the book out on here. Because to mention one thing you then have to mention another and where's your fun in that. What i will say is that each character has a larger than life personality. And if you are already a fan then there's a nice surprise of some past character's, love, love, love you for bring them into this book for us read about!!

So my final words this is a must read and my first on the list of top reads for 2017 because its out there different and will captivate you.

And in the words of Wolfgang himself...

"Ladies, Three wishes, Ready, Set, Go......

A Wilding Wells did it again!! I don't even know where to start with this review!!

From beginning to end, I was captivated by this book! It's whimsical, quirky and just amazing! I loved the larger than life characters and of course the animals! I really want my own elephant!!

Wolfgang Valentine is sexy, sweet, dirty talker and goes after what he wants! He's so protective and loves deep. Total swoon worthy! I wish Wolf was real!! Total book boyfriend!

Theophile is a beautiful girl who is outspoken and stubborn but also quirky and funny. Despite everything she went through with as a kid, she is still strong. I just loved her. I did feel bad for her after hearing about her past.

I loved Wolfgang and Theophile together. They had a connection from the beginning and the sexual tension between them is so hot!

I absolutely loved this book! It was my third book by the author and it is definitely my favorite! This is a must read! You will not be disappointed!

I'm at a loss of words. Mastering The Art Of A Three Ring Circus by A Wilding Wells is the first book I have read by this author, and it will definitely not be my last. A good friend of mine has been telling me non-stop that I have to read this book, she took no for an answer! I started last night and stayed up till dawn.....When I finished I could not help but have a big ole grin on my face.

I was captivated with this story from the very beginning. Wolfgang Valentine..... Every-time I say that name my heart pitter patters. He is the type of man that women only dream about. Tall, dark, and handsome. Goes for what he wants.

Theophile, a beautiful bright young girl who is a fun quirky and stubborn right to the bone.

I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book, different from all the other novels out there.
This book will definitely stay with me for a very long time.

I received this ARC for a honest review. I will never tire of reading this amazing authors words, all of her books are so different from one another & I love that. She has one of the most creative minds out there. "Mastering The Art Of A Three Ring Circus" is one of those books you can't put down (& you won't want to either), it has drama, love, suspense, sex & yes a circus. I'm not one to tell all before you have a chance to read for yourself, but you will fall in love with the three ring circus that is Wolfgang's & Theophile's story.

Welcome to the circus! I’m not really a fan of circus so I was a little scared when I saw the title. But I love A. Wilding Wells wild imagination so I thought I should give it a try. I’m so glad I did.
I absolutely adored this book. She has a way of putting things. Her writing is different than the rest. Look at the character’s names: Wolfgang, Theophile, … !! And I love everything that is different.
This book had everything I love about a book. I laughed, I cried and in the end, I cried again. I must confess I was not expecting the twists and turns!
In the end, this book is an amazing reading and I highly recommend it!
Enjoy the ride!
