This book is boring but it's relatively short and it does give you a good overview of the assessment process, which honestly I couldn't care less about at this stage in my teaching. Also, for fellow students: The index is useless.

Would not recommend this book-- if you have it, definitely utilize other peer-reviewed sources to make more sense of each assessment style.
