It is very good for beginners, but it is basically a complete repeat of Smart Soap making word for word in some cases.

So much fun!

I have really enjoyed this book. I never made soap before so when I had a surplus of goats milk I thought I would give it a try. My first batch turned out great until I tried to get it out of the mold. Guess I forgot to read the part on getting the soap out of the mold! She has very basic recipes you can almost make with what you have at home. There is also more expensive recipes. I am buying the ingredients for them a little at a time so I have not tried them yet.

I was hoping to get some definitive answers on milk soapmaking, but this book was really more about basic soapmaking with two ways of handling any milk/dairy product in soap. I was also hoping for some really luscious recipes, and there are some, just not enough for my liking.
