Dade is painfully aware Tony and Genevieve are perfect for one another. He also knows he doesn't belong in their life, home or marriage. But they are unlike any couple he’s been with before. They welcome him with open arms, determined to convince the broody Dom their relationship has plenty of room.
It was supposed to have been one night of unimaginable pleasure between three consenting adults. However, when morning dawns, a loving twosome has evolved into a scorching menage.
Time stretches on as, night after night, they come together in an incredible power exchange that leaves them all craving more. And burning hotter than they ever imagined. Even as secrets are exposed, the triad becomes an indestructible unit where the sex is twice as satisfying. And the love is three times stronger.
Warning: Get ready for the hottest m/f, m/f/m and m/m/f (PHEW!) sexy, dirty times Gatlin Falls has ever seen. No place is safe from this triad who can't get enough of each other. Gaming chair. Comic book store. Restaurant. Video chat. As these three vulnerable souls discover a freedom they've always longed for, they may just melt your hard drive...and break your heart.
A native Virginian, Sara sold her first published romance novel, FLASH OF DARK, an urban fantasy romance pitting vampires against the Fae, in 2009. Since that fateful day, she's published over 20 books in various sub-genres of romance, been generously honored with several awards, and saved the world from evil chocolate chip cookies.
Though she may insist otherwise, Sara loves the places her mind conjures and has always been fascinated by the strange, the unusual, the twisted and the lost (tortured heroes are her personal favorite). She is an action movie junkie, addicted to coffee and has been known to stay up until the wee hours of the morning playing RPG video games. Despite all this geekiness, she is a romantic at heart and is always a sucker for an excellent love story.
A happily married couple, a broody Dom and unimaginable pleasure are what is up next for Gatlin Falls. Time for the final book in the Geek Kink series! I literally have been counting the days until this book came out! Glad You Came by Sara Brookes provides the fabulously delicious story of Dade, Tony, and Genevieve. Let me tell you...it was AWESOME!
I have one teensy complaint about this book. The series name is Geek Kink. Now while there was plenty of kink, I didn't find it very geeky. Granted Tony runs a comic books store, he certainly was not very geeky. In fact...hubba-hubba! If there were more guys like him in comic book stores I certainly would find a new hang-out real quick! Dade is no slouch either. Getting glimpses of him throughout the series and to FINALLY experience him in his own book makes me very happy! The connection that builds between the Dade, Tony, and Genevieve both emotional as well as sexual is so palatable I could taste it. It isn't all about the sex either. It's the friendship that builds between them as well as the friendship you get to experience ALL the characters that had me hanging on page after page until 4:30 am. Now I'm not going to lie and deny there is a HEA because of course there will be. However, the journey along the way for this happy trio is want had me sighing at the end. As much as I'm going to miss them, I'm over the moon on how things ended.
I have been hooked on this series from page one of the very first book and very sad to see it end. It has been a pleasure following Ms. Brookes characters and I love how not only did each get their own happy ending in their own books but to get to experience their complete HEA in this final title of the Geek Kink series truly made my day. As for Glad You Came, yes it could possibly be read as a stand-alone, however, if you notice I did mention you do get to find out what happens to the previous characters so I wouldn't recommend reading Glad You Came on its own. However, I do recommend reading the entire series very highly. Over-all...a 5-stars series!
I received this book from the JeepDiva for the express purposes of an honest review. The opinions and rating of this review are solely mine and in no way was I compensated.
Meh. The book was ok, but none of the characters stand out. I hate that there is a cartoonish villain who damaged property and almost kills people. Again. I was annoyed by Dade’s moping over Tony and Genevieve. One part I enjoyed was watching the three of them build their sexual relationship, the scenes were good.
There's nothing I like more than a yummy MMF ménage, and Ms. Brookes delivers in GLAD YOU CAME.
Genevieve and Tony Fitzgerald have been married for a few years, and their friend Dade Ellingson has been in love with them both for even longer. Silently stoic, Dade watches the couple who can't keep their hands off of each other, longing to be with them both…permanently. When renovations begin on Dade's home and he's invited to stay with the happy couple for a few weeks, shit gets real, fast.
Tony has been denying his increasingly erotic thoughts about Dade, and he certainly hasn't mentioned his strange attraction to another man to his wife. But Genevieve's exhibitionist nature and the couple's open and experimental relationship is driving all three of them mad with unquenched desire, and one late night, the three of them finally give into temptation. Their relationship grows stronger as the triad gets to know one another as lovers and not just as friends. But when reality comes crashing down on them, will their new relationship survive?
GLAD YOU CAME is book 4 in the Geek Kink Series, and while there are quite a few references to the previous books, it can be read as a standalone. Right away, Dade came off as a little bit sappy, a wee bit douchy, and not the seasoned Dom he was portrayed as. The chip on his shoulder was enormous when it came to his feelings. As the relationship between him and the Fitzgeralds developed however, I saw a sexier, more dominant side to Dade that was delicious. I was kind of surprised that the relationship between the three of them developed so slowly, but once the floodgates opened, their triad felt realistic and organic.
Genevieve was a natural caretaker, a bedroom submissive who was in her element with the attention and affection of both men. And when Tony finally admitted he wanted Dade too, well hot damn the book just shot off the eroticameter! The sex scenes were very erotic, and they focused mostly on the power exchange elements of BDSM, which was interesting to read, particularly when two very dominant men came together.
The book focused primarily on the development of the relationship between the three of them, however there was an underlying current of suspense from an unknown source. I would've liked to have seen that developed a little more in this book. It seemed to be kind of thrown in there here and there to give the story more oomph. It felt a bit out of place sometimes, though it didn't diminish my overall enjoyment of GLAD YOU CAME.
Bottom Line: If you're into MMF erotic romance with a BDSM bent along with an actual storyline, check this book out. You won't be disappointed! - See more at: http://erotic.theromancereviews.com/v...
A sweet ending to a series and I am glad I picked it up. A fan of geeks in kink, because there are so many of them, this series caught my eye when it first came out. This last book is more kink than geek but that is okay because the ménage and D/s is well written.
