A good read, with concepts presented in small bites on what the public manager needs to contend with in an ever-changing VUCA world. The last work of my colleague Zeger Van Der Wal is an extremely useful guide to navigate the complex world of public management and to provide public managers with a set of tools and a mindset to address this new world. From managing stakeholders and authority to ethical complexities and cross-sectoral collaboration, this book is a practical manual for every public manager who needs to design and deliver effective public policies in our age of disruptions.
