No more wedding marches for her!

Wedding planner Roxie Honeycutt can make happy-ever-after come true for anyone except herself. Freshly divorced and done with love, she's okay with watching clients walk down the aisle. What's not okay? Sharing a charming Victorian house with accountant Byron Strong. He's frustratingly sexy and determined to keep her confused.

The beginning of this book had me laughing. I thought, this is a good sign and I can't wait to continue reading this book. The laughs were provided by Byron's family. Although, mostly from his parents and especially his father. Yet, after this brief scene was over, so were the laughs.

I found both Bryon and Roxie fine. On their own they were alright. Yet, together I was not experiencing the chemistry. Well not the hot and heavy kind. It was more of the mild kind. Additionally, the rest of the

MY THOUGHTS
Roxie Honeycutt can make everyone elses dreams come true but it's not for her. She went that route and now she's recently divorced and wants no part of thinking about a man much less a wedding for herself. She's finished with love. Instead of wanting a man, she wants a house. A Victorian house. She's in love with this house.
As Roxie is looking at the house with a realtor, they come upon Byron Strong. He's in the middle of shaving. What a shock that must have been for everyone. Come

Roxie Honeycutt plans weddings, but her own divorce has soured her on thinking it will ever happen to her. Instead of a man, she falls in love with a Victorian house and wants it! Now! But the owner has given it to her grandson, or at least he thought she did, which is why he moves in, only to be discovered shaving when his mother, the realtor (ha!) is showing it to Roxie. How to solve this conundrum? Roxie will rent it for a year, after which Byron can take ownership.

The problem with that plan

Always a wedding planner, never a bride. I love wedding planner romances. But this wasn't really one of those. This wedding planner has fallen for a house, but when she tours the house they find a man shaving.
Roxie is the wedding planner who had a bad divorce and now doesn't think happily ever after is for her and Byron, the shaving guy, is a widower, who doesn't want to do marriage again, cos well death parted him from his wife.

Of course they start to fall in love.

This was a pretty good book. Roxie plans other peoples' happily ever afters. She isn't sure after her heartbreaking divorce that she truly believes that happily ever after is possible. Byron has had a heartbreaking life-changing event as well. The whole town just doesn't know about his. Together they could have a happy ending if they are both willing to risk the heartache.
I like that the author has gone through this set of friends and given them all their own story. It has been fun to get to
