Bring your wolfsbane, Garlic, and MSG with you because the Town of Stroganoff is usually having a dark and stormy night and a full moon. Deadly creatures of the night roam the precarious streets and are lurking in the shadows. In medieval times, a Countess is accused of vampirism. Who will come to the defense of the Countess and who will condemn her? Is there enough evidence to convict? The accusation causes a series of unpredictable events that lead to murder, mayhem and war. How can this all end well? This low-fantasy story for the low-brow reader is full of humor, but the characters also face some sobering personal problems, such as isolation, betrayal, finding one’s purpose, and the threat of becoming a monster's next meal. This novel is by Den Warren, author of fast-moving tales such as the dystopian Kings and Clans Trilogy; and other speculative fiction works, including Metahuman Wars, K-Tron, and Scorc Hunters. This is the first book set in the SpecFic Omega Universe

This is a story based in the town of Stroganoff where deadly creatures of the night are roaming the streets and making them their own. The Countess is accused of vampirism and that leads to lots of unpredictable events including murder and war.
This is a humorous story with little bit of reality underneath about relationships, communication and trust. It's a little crazy in places. It was well written and if you like this kind of story you will enjoy it. As for me it wasn't really the kind of story I am in to.
