The second book in New York Times bestselling author Katy Regnery’s first duo of paranormal romances!

To some, they’re just words signifying a fairytale ending.
For me, Jack Beauloup, they represent an unyielding desire:
Forever with Darcy Turner, the unexpected love of my life.
A love that has placed her human life in danger.

It’s You is the second and final book in the It’s You series by Katy Regnery. I love romance books. I love to read about love. And what a series to end my year on. These two books! Just Wow! I do love Paranormal Romance and that is what these are. But that’s not really the focus. This is an epic love story that is sure to stay in your heart for long after you finish reading.

It’s You, Book 2 is the second half of the It’s You duet by Katy Regnery. Before I began reading this, I was a bit worried that I may not like the way the author chose to conclude the story. Well, I am happy to announce that I worried for nothing, because I enjoyed this book even more than its predecessor! It was a fantastic conclusion to a beautiful love story!

This installment picks up where the last book left off, and Jack comes to bring Darcy to his house so he can protect her. She reluctantl

The fantastic conclusion to Jack and Darcy's story was more than I hoped it would be. Katy Regnery puts her characters through the emotional, psychological as well as physical wringer. I was frustrated and mad and touched and emotional and overjoyed, while reading this. After that spectacular cliffhanger I was left at the edge of my seat waiting to see what would happen. So at the earliest opportunity I totally pounced on the second book.

This was an intense conclusion to the duet. While many parts were predictable, it was no less of a delight to read through! It was beautiful, lovely, whimsical, erotic and indubitably romantic!

I have to be a bit nit-picky though. For about 75% of this book, I was baffled by Darcy's small-minded behaviour. I was absolutely disgusted and I couldn't get past it. It was extremely hard to root for the couple when I was so angry with the heroine. I couldn't understand her selfishness. In her desire to

"If I am your soul, then you are my heart. You are the strength of my life beating in my chest, and if you die, I die."

This is the conclusion to the two part story about the epic second chance love shared between Darcy and Jack. All loose ends were tied, conflicts solved and lovers united. It's You (Book 2) was enjoyable, epic and at times extremely romantic (just read the quote above and you'll know what I'm talking about). Even though I enjoyed it, I didn't like it as much as the

So I put down book one and immediately picked up book two. I was so wrapped up in these characters and I had to know what was going to happen next. Of course my mind was working overtime going over all the possible things I thought may eventuate. I was so consumed by this book, more so than I have been for a long time and I really didn’t want to put it down.

Then of course disaster struck. I was already under the pump what with 5 kids and Christmas but then I got thrown a fundraising sausage siz

What an intense journey for this couple. This duet is extremely hard to review without giving away parts if the story.
Book 2 concludes Jack and Darcy's love story.   It was intense, heartbreaking,  happy....I was all over the place emotionally.

Although there was a couple aspects of the story that I wasn't pleased with, overall this was one of the best shifter story I've ever read.  Jack's history was legend and

#sigh... Well, this wasn't bad. There was so much potential. The story was definitely intriguing. I guess it just wasn't the story I wanted to read. There were a few pieces of the puzzle missing for me. Really, I think what it boiled down to is, though Darcy grew on me from book 1 to book 2, I just didn't like her. I thought she was selfish. I did really like Jack, but he went so far in his love for her, he seemed a bit emasculated at times. I gue

Oh my god! I just turned the last page of this book and for the first time in 24 hours I felt like I could breathe. Folks, buckle the hell up because book two will take you for a very exciting wild ride. At the end of the first book Darcy made a difficult decision which broke both of their hearts. Darcy loves Jack but she is so confused and could not wrap her head around Jack and who he is. Their binding, which happened when they were teenagers, is unacceptable according to Jack’s pack law. I JUST DON'T THINK I am ready to admit and accept that this duet is over. I just don't....I mean, I am honestly seriously SAD about this. I am showing all the signs of a book hangover and I am going to blame Katy Regnery. It's her fault. It just is. I would never lie about something so important. Or true. Or real. HAHAHA! Book two begins right where book one left off. Both Darcy and Jack are struggling with anger, frustration, pain, and desperation. But even though Darcy is trying to push Jack away due to his revelations, she also has no choice but to rely on him for help and protection. But lack of control in her own life is difficult for her. And since Jack has returned, her life has been completely out of control.

They both have strong feelings for each other, but their lives are full of impossible situations.
Its so fascinating to read a book to hate every single character (minus the hero) but still love the book so much. How does Katy Regency do it??? Every. Single. Character deserved a drop kick in the groin. From Willow being some kind of obnoxious fairy god mother to Lela, the raving psycho bitch. And the heroine; the worst character of all. I HATED her. She NEVER accepted Jack for who he was until she became like just like him. It bothered me so much that I waned to rate this book lower but this ...more

Oh wow! The exciting conclusion to Darcy and Jack's story was just a little angsty and a lot amazing! There was some worrying over what would happen with Lela. There was lots of worrying over what would happen at the Solstice. There was lots of worrying over whether or not Jack would change Darcy after she did her experiment. And then....when Darcy went north and what happened after that *sigh*

It's You book 2 started off slowly as well but it the pace picked up as the story progressed. While I found the book enjoyable there were things I didn't enjoy as much for instance, I felt like the heroine acted pretty juvenile in both book 1 and 2, to me she didn't act like a thirty five year old woman she acted more like a teenager. While I found the ending satisfying I would've loved to have seen a different resolution to the conflict that carried over from the first book.

Kitty's review:

Unbelievable. That’s the only word for Book 2 of It’s You. I could not wait to see just where Kate Regenry was taking the story, how she was going to bring it together and to end. There were so many obstacles that needed to be overcome and settled that I had no idea how there could ever be an HEA. But, I wasn’t surprised that she pulled it off!

I was shocked, surprised and thrilled with the way she took this story. The cliffhanger at the end of Book 1 didn’t prepare us for the dire

"You belong to me. I belong to you. Forever."

The second book of the PNR duet It's You by K.P. Kelley was a great conclusion to Jack and Darcy's epic love story. The cliffhanger at the end of book one left me breathless and with a pounding heart. I needed to find out how things will turn out for Jack and Darcy and my favorite secondary characters - Willow and Avory. Let me tell you that Katy didn't disappoint. I fell even more for the hero and heroine of this story and their undying love

I am so in awe of this series right now. It took me some time to get my thoughts together in preparation to write this review, I can only hope it adequately explains my feelings about this book.

After that ending in part one, I could not wait to get my hands on book two. I was eager to see how things would unfold for Darcy and Jack. In this installment, Darcy’s heart and head are in a battle as she tries to come to terms with her discovery about Jack. I have to admit that I was frustrated with th

I knew how I wanted things to end up with Jack and Darcy, and I definitely got what I wanted, but holy hell What. A. Ride it was to get there. The emotional roller coaster was set to full throttle and even when I wanted to jump off for a bit of a breather I couldn’t because I needed to know what was coming next.

My first thought after I finished Book 2 was, "Dang, it's over." I loved being wrapped up in Jack and Darcy's world and their lives. I loved this duet.

With where Book 1 left off, I knew I needed Book 2 right away, to see how everything would be resolved... if it would be resolved. Of course, spoilers are frowned upon. But I will say that some things went the way I thought they would, and other directions of the story went in new ways I hadn't seen coming. I was completely hooked on thi

Can I consider this story as one of my top 10 reads for 2016, or do I have to wait until next year because this book isn't released until then?

As I said in my review of book one, I'm not normally a reader of paranormal, but Katy Regnery has this completely unique way of pulling you in to her stories. Doesn't matter if it's a lighthearted romance, a darker romance, or in this case an epic love story that actually spans over a two decades, between a shifter and his human mate.

My thoughts from the previous installment are extremely accurate for this one as well. In one word - INTENSE, with just another word added - AWESOME. I really enjoyed this book, loved the characters, the story and the way it evolved. There were so many layers to both Darcy and Jake's decisions as to "what to do next", it wasn't that simple for either one of them. No decision was a "good one", or one they could live with easily. This is the place to state that if you HAVEN'T read the first part o ...more

After being left speechless at the cliffhanger in book #1, I was dying to dive into book #2 in order to see how the story continues. My heart and mind were all over the place because Jack and Darcy's happily ever after seemed to get out of reach minute by minute.

In the second of Jack & Darcy’s book, all the tension that built as Darcy learned Jack’s truth comes to a head as they must face the council in a catch-22.

When I finished It’s You #1 I knew I needed to know the rest of Jack and Darcy’s story. This second half is full of so much, between the pack politics and Darcy knowing Jack’s truth. There are a lot of things up in the air as each try to reconcile what life will look like if they stay together and also what it will look like if they live
