Well well well….finally a “fairy tale twist” that is truly good! No weird crap, no corny story line. William - oh William. He is cursed and longs for the love of his life that was lost over one hundred years ago, death stole her. He seems tortured by his curse and only wants to get rid of it. Poor William will he ever find true love? Will his heart ever heal from the loss of his “Rose”.

“We all have regrets, but those are not the moments that define us.”

Belle, sweet Belle. Belle will kick your a

This book was a twist on the story of Beauty and the Beast that we all know and love but it was done so well
·
It starts off a little slow while the author builds the characters, scene and background to the story. Once everything has been set up we are taken on a journey of love, loss and magic
·
While Belle is still the book loving character we all love from the original tale, in this retelling she willingly goes to Prince William's castle. Although William is not a beast in this version, he is a d

Received this book free for an honest review.
I loved the intricately developed story. The characters are well rounded and likeable. Every time you think you know what's going to happen the author gives you more. She builds the story slowly, giving just the right amount of information to keep us guessing. Loved that part
However, I gave it four stars because: halfway through the book, the editing starts lacking. Double words or words lacking. It took one star. Even though I loved the story and kne

Many thanks to @lovebookstours and @authorkristernflood for sending me an ecopy of this book for an honest review⁣

Anyone who knows me, knows I love retellings of all kinds. Plus Beauty and the Beast is my favourite film ever so when I saw the title and blerb for this book I had to say yes! ⁣

Twisted Beauty is a dark retelling of Beauty and the Beast and the first in the Fractured Fairytales series. William and Belle have to go through dark struggles and realise what is more important to them as

This books reminds me of a manga that I’ve read a while back. It talks about reincarnation, love and magic. I personally found it interested because I am a hopeless romantic and this book was full of gasp. Here are some quotations “ I want to be with you. I want the world to know you’re by my side.” Ike this is so romantic. My fiancé tells me this all the time and it just makes my day. I am happy it was used because it just warmed my heart and soul. It’s a nice story easy read and I look forward ...more

I loved the storyline. The characters are very relatable and still unique. The ending was not really satisfying. Not really an open ending but more a question of 'Is this it?' I saw that it's part of a series and therefore disregarded that. But I loved the whole plot. Twists and turns around every corner. It does need quite a bit of editing around page 150 and forward. But it didn't take away from the story completely.

What’s not to love? Romance, deception, mystery…this book had a little bit of everything. It’s one of those stories you think about even when you’re not reading and sticks with you long after you put it down. It’s like a fairytale for adults. Can’t wait for the next installment!

I absolutely loved this book! It is a re-telling of beauty and the beast, which there are a lot of out there but this one was amazing and probably one of the best I have read. I adored the characters of William and Belle and their relationship, and enjoyed seeing how this developed. I also loved the magical element to the story and the back story of William’s past and how that links with the present. It is also more of an adult version with some steamy scenes which were written very well.

I really enjoyed reading this story and loved the retelling of beauty and beast. There has been quite a lot of retelling of old stories but this one has been far the best that I have read. I was really loving this book and read this in one day since I couldn't put the book down.

The characters were really well developed in this story And I really liked William who played the beast. He was actually one if the best beast that I have read about. He's also what every girl dreams about. Or should I s
