I received this book from the author through a Goodreads Giveaway.

I have read a lot of comics and graphic novels over the years. However, I have not read any that attempt to delve into Christian spirituality in any meaningful way...until Blind Prophet.

The concept is powerful and fairly unique. Daniel Prophet is a blind, autistic child who is also a piano savant. An experimental treatment causes him to be able to "see" into the spiritual realm. He can visualize demons and angels and even some fut
I don't typically read a lot of comic books, but this was great! Thanks to the author for the copy for review.

The characters were three-dimensional and the whole aspect of Daniel's power gives a whole new insight into how they are thinking. So many books fall prey to "telling, not showing;" this was not one of them.
The character of Daniel, the main character, is interesting as he is blind and autistic. I volunteered with autistic children last semester, it's cool to see them represe

I loved this comic. The first book (1-4) was fantastic. The art work is incredible and the story line is really interesting. I am so excited to see where book 2 goes with how the last one ended. Big cliffhangers.

The graphics are great.
It's a powerful message for today's world.
It would be a good comic book for preteens and teenagers.

Blind Prophet offers a unique perspective on a comic book hero in the form of a boy named Daniel Prophet. Daniel is blind, autistic, a stellar piano player, and is able to detect the guardian angels and the serpent demons of those he comes across. He lives with his mother, Diana, who is a single parent, because his biological father, Brian, was a shallow scumbag that ended his relationship on the basis that he could not want a disabled child (But then again, he really did not want any children n ...more

I like the artwork. The subject matter is thought-provoking and not a little disturbing, although it does sort of fit in with my views.

I received this as a giveaway through Goodreads.

Interesting read! This had a very compelling beginning that sucked me in. I also enjoyed the art.

I'm normally more of a novel person. I like to sit down and read for hours and this comic only took me a handful of minutes but was enjoyable. I'm intrigued as to what comes next!

I think the best I can say about Blind Prophet is that I am interesting in reading what happens next. I would like to know how the story ends. It is an interesting story.

I don't think there's much to recommend the book beyond the overarching story. I think the quality of the art is poor. It is vivid, but not skilled. Characters have the unfortunate habit of looking different from panel to panel. I also had trouble with the dialogue. Discussions bet

~Disclaimer: I received this book for free ~

I really wanted to like this. And I did for a moment.

The art itself is distinctive and has its own style. While I think the artist needs to improve on their skills I think keeping the style will help them brand themselves. However, as it stands the characters weren't consistently drawn and that got a tad distracting.

The dialogue between the characters was unrealistic. People don't talk like that. Certainly not to strangers.

The characters overall were

This graphic novel was inspiring in that there was a medical procedure that could possibly help Danny to be able to see. When the procedure goes differently than they thought the doctor wants to test him further but Danny's mom just wants to get him safely home again.Danny starts to see angels and things that are there but not seen by normal human eyes.He can see the good fighting the evil and his own guardian angel. He still gets to play the piano for the President of the United States and the vi ...more

Blind Prophet is a fascinating take on the concept of spiritual warfare, in a divided nation, where both sides in their political positions are under demonic influence to resort to violent means, and few but a blind boy can see the true nature of the conflict. Though the perspective is decidedly Christian, Blind Prophet is a mind-bending read for people of any political or religious perspective, and, perhaps, not far-afield from some of the more divisive political conflicts in our troubled times ...more

I think some of these issues are very relevant to current events and some of these issues were kinda relevant to an actual recognized prophet baba vanga, i wonder if this graphic novel was inspired or influenced by this actual real person. In regards to the graphic novel I found it very well scripted and beautifully drawn. I found the story kinda scary and cool, like good and evil. I recommend it I am so intrigued by whats going to happen. RECOMMENDED.

Graphic novel of a young boy who is blind and is a gifted musician (pianist). When he was born, his father left his mother because the boy "was blind and a retard". But Danny is a gifted pianist and wins a competition to play for the President. Danny periodically has various tests and in one test, they found that Danny's brain needed more stimulation. It is decided to stimulate Danny's optic nerve. It proves more than successful, Danny begins to see good and bad angels surrounding people and the ...more

I won a copy of this comic.

Not really my kind of thing, but different. Daniel is brought into the world by his mother who opted not to have an abortion (although his father would prefer if she would have had one). Born blind and later diagnosed as autistic, Daniel finds that he can see things like demons.

Interesting story, I find it interesting that the story runs along the line of a biblical prophet as I originally thought this was going to run towards the "superhero" lines. I enjoyed that the author chose a child as the recipient of this knowledge and I am interest in continuing the story!
