This is a very well researched book about Black Elk Peak formerly called Harvey Peak in South Dakota. Showed the progress from the first time people climbed the peak, to becoming a fire watch tower, to tours, to the current hiking or horseback riding to the peak. Amazing how at one time they had electricity, telephone, running water to the current stone building. The author talks about how in 2012 they started repairing windows, doors and mortar to make it look like it did in the 1930's.
