About the author

Alice Schertle has written more than 40 books, mostly for children. A mother and former elementary school teacher, Ms. Schertle is a graduate of the University of Southern California. Many of her most famous works are poetic in nature, though she writes about a wide variety of topics.

Absolutely charming! Such sweet original poems, each accompanied by a full page colored illustration and smaller drawings along with the text. A beautiful book to gift to a teddy bear lover or to add to a picture book library.

Linda Hill Griffith is one of my favorite illustrators.
The book is a collection of Teddy Bear Poems by Alice Schertle with the most adorable pictures. One of my kids favorite bedtime books.
