When I started this book, I was like meh. But as I progressed through it, I noticed how compelling it really was. Cindy has always had a unique way of pulling you in with humor and real stories that bring things back to your remember that we so quickly forget. I thought it was pretty power packed with nuggets of truth and wisdom. Solid 4 stars!

I really enjoyed this book. It's too easy for us to forget that God does indeed want to speak to us: "My sheep hear my voice, and I know them …" (John 10:27) Cindy reminds us of this Biblical truth: that He desires to speak to all of us, not just a chosen few.

Cindy outlines how to hear God's voice, what are some of the obstacles to hearing including the healing of past wounds and the importance of Biblical authenticity and confirmation from 2 or 3 others. She also takes a chapter addressing how to verify words spoken over you by others which I found particularly helpful.

I would recommend this short book to all Christians, no matter how mature in the faith.
