Prvi put sam vodila Nikolu u biblioteku i ovo je knjiga koju je on izabrao. Bila sam malo skepticna da ce moci da prati jer je u pitanju strip ali ispalo je da mu se ovaj format bas svidja. Poseban plus je sto nema teksta pa moze sve on da "cita".

This one was pretty amazing. Such imagination. You really feel like you're in their little minion world with them. Perfect for reluctant readers to gain experience in story formatting and development.

Hahahaha mostly pictures. A lot of physical humor, a throwback to a style of comic I haven't seen in a while.. like the fillers pages from Richie Rich.

2. Review/Summary: They’re back! This second graphic novel featuring the stars of the summer blockbuster movie, Minions, and the Despicable Me franchise brings together an all-new collection of hilarious comic stories in a complimentary companion volume to the Minions 1 graphic novel.
3. Rating: 5 Stars
4. Writing Trait: Minions: Evil Panic includes the following writing traits:
a. Ideas: The story has interesting details for young readers and these readers want to keep reading the story to learn more.
b. Organization: The graphic novel hooks the reader, has a purpose and a logical structure, consists of clear transitions/ideas and has an interesting conclusion.
c. Voice: The voice of this story is minimal, as the images tell the story. A few words are used on each page (mainly character thoughts).
d. Word Choice: Effective and interesting; precise words are chosen. Onomatopoeia is used throughout the text.
e. Conventions: Words are spelled consistently, grammar and punctuation are used correctly. The story is clear, flows and makes sense. The print (when used) is large, there are many colorful illustrations that tell the story. Each title is bold and clear to differentiate between the different strips.
5. Usage for Classroom Instruction: This book could be read at an independent reading level for student interest in the middle elementary school grades (Possibly 3, or 4). Students could create their own graphic novel (as an assignment or project) by referring to this book. This book could also be read aloud to younger elementary school students. Students could begin learning about onomatopoeia through this book, as it is used quite frequently. A mini lesson could be taught and then students could look through the story to find examples ("pshht" is used for a spray can spraying, "ting" is used for two glasses meeting, and so on).

It was a great, quick read - there is literally no dialogue in this book, just the illustrations of the minions, but it was cute and fun to read. I love the minions, they make me happy - so reading this after a long day at work makes it all the more better! This is also my first book read for 2016, so many more books to come, hopefully!
You don't need to pick up the first book in order to get what's happening in the second book as their stories stand alone from each other. The theme of this book is the evil minion - where one spray can actually cause your good, old minion friend to turn into a purple evil minion that wants to eat everything!
Of course there are plenty of other stories in the middle that makes it even more entertaining.
Definitely recommend reading this book - but probably not to buy it, as the price is a bit steep. I picked it up from my local library (Jacksonville, FL) - I'm always in the library a couple of times a month (sometimes even multiple times a week!)

I thought this would be a wordless graphic novel, but it's really a collection of one-page generally wordless comics. Each page has a title, so there are words that have to be read in order to distinguish the context for some of the gags. I hate Minions, but some of them made me laugh so that was quite a feat.
Rating is a two because some of the humour is too obscure for what I expected would be a low reading level (what with the wordlessness of it, and the very young age group who are excited by Minions). Still, it's a good pick for kids who can read and can understand the jokes but who aren't bored by Minions or the non-story.

Vaihteeksi Stéphane Lapuss -nimisen kaverin käsikirjoittama "Pahispaniikki" (Egmont, 2015) jatkaa siitä mihin edellisessä osassa jäätiin, eli pikkuhauskaa hupailua on luvassa 48 lähes sanattoman sivun verran. Kohderyhmä lienee vielä enemmän riemuissaan, sillä kun on tätä kirjoittaessa putiikkimme niteisiin kohdistuu yli kymmenen varausta.

To be quite honest, this book does an excellent job of communicating the punch line only by pictures, this makes it such an easy read no matter what language you speak!
