I've made several recipes from this cookbook and while they were all rather involved, they were also quite good. Most of the recipes seem to require multiple steps and take 1+ hours not including baking/cooking times, but the end result has been worth it. I would recommend preparing the recipes with the assistance of at least one other person as the various steps have to all come together at the same time and can be a bit hectic if attempted solo! Despite that, I'd love to have a copy of this cookbook on my kitchen's bookshelf for times when I'm feeling adventurous and ambitious! I hope to someday visit the restaurant : )
One of the restaurants I want to dine at if I make another visit to New York. Appreciate having restaurant cookbooks if I don’t live in/can’t visit the area or visit frequently, and for my favorite places so that I have the recipes in case the restaurant ever closes, an all too frequent occurrence. This cookbook has a comprehensive and very helpful index. The food looks healthy and delicious.
I'm not even Vegan, which is interesting because I seem to choose more Vegan cookbooks than even just vegetarian, but there seems to be more creativity and passion in the vegan cook books inventory.
