Awakening Magic by Neely Powell is a paranormal story, with a touch of romance, about a family of witches that have carved out a safe haven for themselves and others like them in north Georgia. When an old enemy returns to their normally quite community they must use their strength as a family unit to protect and save the ones they love.

Brenna Burns, one of the Connelly coven witches, has recently returned to New Mourne after spending several years in Atlanta. She is not the only entity that ha

I need the next book!

This book is perfect for those that like Nora Roberts. Neely Powell hits the mark with a well developed cast of characters.
New Mourne is a safe haven for those with supernatural powers. This is always culminated in the death of a Connelly witch. Brenna must find her way to bring her family together and fight this e

Awakening Magic held my interest from beginning to end. This book is full of witchcraft, fairies, werewolves, smokin’ hot romance and Native American mythology. This book really has something for everyone no matter what you’re into and assuming that you like those sort of things you’ll love this book. I absolutely loved the setting and the shape shifting character was awesome. I also found myself flipping the book over to check out the cover art again and again. If you’re looking for a hot paran ...more

Neely Powell is the pseudonym for co-writers Leigh Neely and Jan Hamilton Powell. The best friends met when they both worked at a rock 'n roll radio station in Chattanooga. It turned out their husbands were long-lost high school buddies, and Jan and Leigh were both writing romantic fiction in their spare time. A partnership was born.
